Use code "SOG" for a discount! 💯 www.combattextiles.com Who makes the best gun grip? In this video I will break down 3 different brands including the all new Combat Textiles
Just bought some for my Dagger and saw your video afterwards, I will definitely go back on and order some for my G19 and M&P and use your code. Thanks for the video, I can’t wait to install these.
Crazy that we were offering the same type of Cordura fabric grips fifteen years ago and they never caught on. I really liked them. Offered the material as a holster wrap as well. We probably have a case of the adhesive backed fabrics sitting in a box somewhere. The feel is great though, so I'm sure the CombatTextiles stuff probably works well for EDC. Right now, our cork grip tape is probably the best balance of comfort for concealed carry, and handling with wet hands in particular. Can't beat cork for sweaty or wet hands.
@@tractiongrips Appreciate the comment. 15 years ago wow thats crazy that they didn't catch the attention they deserved. I only heard of them until recently and so far I've enjoyed them. Never heard of cork grip tape either but would love to check those out as well. Got a link by chance?
SOG, thank you for the 10% discount. I've placed 4 orders with Combat Textiles to cover my Glocks and CZ s. Love the textile texture, colors, camo. 👍👍👍👍
How well did each one handle after being wet? I heard you mention the combat textiles soaking up a bit of water but I didn’t hear if it’s grippiness/performance was affected. Thanks for the video and bringing these to our attention.
All 3 lost grippiness and performance but the combat textiles weren't as slippery. They did soak up the water a bit more but that's because the material is more of a fabric vs a rubber. While wet, they felt better to me however being that they are fabric, I was unable to wipe the water off as easily as the rubbers if that makes sense. All in all they held up well! I appreciate the support my friend 👍🏽
I have ordered grips for 7 pistols and 1 TLR. Love love love. Thank you for the SOG discount code 💥👍 The colors and camo are dreamy . Say no to belly button lint 🤣
These look really neat. Fantastic review! Now it’s definitely a toss-up for me on what I should get for my Glock 19x. You have a good eye for aesthetics; which grip color/pattern of Combat Textiles would you say would pair best with the 19x’s FDE color?
Appreciate it! That's a hard one. They have so many good colors honestly lol can't really go wrong with black but they also have the tiger stripes limited release that would look good. Ahhh it's tough I'd hate to be in your position 😂
@@S.0.G LOL, right! That’s exactly the main two I was stuck between the most-and potentially Badlands. My brother actually said Tiger-Stripe too, so I guess that’s the one I should go with! Thanks a bunch, bud! :D
I have a "how to install" video that shows the back piece @ around the 3:10 minute mark👌🏽 it is a separate piece but if you wanna check it out here's the link: th-cam.com/video/6sEQ6WzN30c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=z-o0rk3hhZfpfM9R
Thanks for your endorsement and demo. I'm ordering to cover my: Glock G40 10mm 6.02' Glock G17L 9mm 6.02" Glock G25 .380 4.02" CZ P-09 9mm 5.12" CZ P-07 Suppressor Ready. Update: excellent color and camo colors, precise cut patterns. Swift delivery. Use a hair dryer to really set the fabric onto the polymer textures and grooves. Texture is mild. If you want sand paper or rubber look elsewhere. Appreciate your Discount Code 👍👍 got it 🏆
@@flyingplumber226 I think Best of GLOCK breed. I'm not covering my G19X.... yet🤣 I wish we could post photos here because the colors and camo are stunning. Again. the texture is fine to medium. If you need course and aggressive look elsewhere.
Sorry for the delay! You could make them work with a little bit of customizing on your end otherwise you could always reach out to them about a "custom" cut for your gen 5!

@@-LucasFishing- I ended up getting the Tiger-Stripe and I’m really happy with it! ☺️

I think you'll like them! Mine been running smooth 👌🏽 what color you get?

Do these work with backstrap
I never did get a good look at the rear of the grip. Is it a separate piece?

Would these be more grippy than just the echelon grip, looking for a little more grip than my echelon currently has ?
I'd probably look into something more abrasive then honestly
@@S.0.G thanks
If you want more grip than that I’d say go granulate, but it will tear clothes up if you’re using it for concealed carry.
Is Combat Textiles thicker than the Talon rubber grips?
I don't know the exact specifications of either but it feels sturdier so it might be. Not sure tho to be honest
Thanks for your endorsement and demo.
I'm ordering to cover my:
Glock G40 10mm 6.02'
Glock G17L 9mm 6.02"

That's a very nice collection you have there! 👌🏽 I appreciate the kind words enjoy the grips!
That might be the most odd 3 piece Glock collection I ever heard of. I get wanting to own the two long boys. But the G25 is a straight wild card. Lol
Love my 17L. Once the release a gen 5 G40 I plan on picking one up.

Combat Textile fabric all day long. 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫

They don't have grips for Glock Gen 1 or Gen 2
They may be able to do a custom order for the gen 1/2. You can request it by emailing them here: custom@combattextiles.com
That's wassup your the first I seen mentioned them. I'm a Hogue grip type viber. This a great alternative forsure! 🪖🥾🥾🥂👑💣💣💣💣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀
Hogue is good too! I just hate how hard they are to put on lol
