- Full concert @ American Dream NJ 10/30/2022.
The only major flaw was the lighting and my video quality but the sound is great.
A few Highlights:
Standing on MISA's side on the rail. Vladimir Chupin is on my left so he'll provide better videos for all.
14:30 Kanami sits in front of Miku when she sings her verse in Freedom
18:00 MC1
36:45 MC2 MISA's opening ceremony and Magic Spell Time - Akane plays with pumpkins
58:30 MC3 MISA tries to get Kanami on stage for Saiki's word of the day but she is sleeping, Miku has big shoulders, Fans eat bananas with Akane, Saiki's 2022 US tour catch phrase
1:19:00 A frigin stage light is pointed right at me for the rest of the show
1:22:39 MISA's strap falls off and the tech quickly sees what is happening when MISA kneels down but doesn't miss a note.
1:31:00 Domination with full Line Cube middle instrumentals, Mincho joins our side of the stage and it's MISA and Kanami's turn at cymbal domination to end the song.
1:37:00 MISA throws a pick our way and I miss grabbing it but guess what? It lands in my screaming mouth. Miku acknowledges me and shakes my hand and is standing a foot away. Rather Awesome.

oh you are the lucky one! haha, I was really hoping she was going to hand me one! I was the goofball in the Stetson, about 3 people over from there on the front rail. But Miku did grab my hand and say byebye, lol. cannot see my face in the video from JK's angle, but wow, what a night! jealous you got the pick!! haha. I have one from Kanami from 2019 in NYC, I just missed catching the Misa pick that ended up in JK's screaming mouth lol. oh well, that's how it goes, fantastic show, I miss them so much already, our time was too short.

Yes! I was surprised too, but the team spent a long time transforming a plain amusement park platform into a normal concert stage. This does really sound good ..nice job!

MISA's strap mishap at 1:22:44 shows what an amazing pro she is!
Exactly. She instinctively knelt down so she could keep playing until either the song was over or the tech helped her. No doubt she would have kept playing in the kneeling position until the song was over if need be. ❤
They also have good vigilant roadies (tech etc.). Loved how he gave her a tap on her shoulder to tell her the problem was fixed after the strap was attached again. They have to be always on the lookout so that the leads don't get tangled up.
@@ontaka5997 The techs, especially their new stage manager Mu-chan, were superb. We were allowed to watch them setting up the stage and it was fascinating. There is video out there of the last show in Chicago where Kanami hugs Mu-chan at the end of the show. What a band!!!

I saw BM for the first time this summer in Japan and I had great time but still no cheering restriction. I got a ticket for this NJ show to have a real live experience. Perhaps this is the best live performance that I've ever had in my life. Thanks for the upload, so that I can reminiscing about this live!

This band plays so tight it is just plain unbelievable. They are putting most of the bands I have ever seen to shame.
Their synergy is a cut above for sure. And then there is the music.

Yup. They played it at 4 shows along with From Now On. At Chicago they played NO instrumentals. Go figure.

Always amazes me how they can still sound so good even on these cell phone recordings...Not to insult peoples cell phones, its just those cell phone mics were not designed to record an entire bands worth of sound. Still appreciate all these fan cams as I wasn't able to attend any of their shows. Hopefully their next US tour wont be too far away.
You basically need to be center and off the rail to get all the instruments evenly. From my side Kanami's guitar was a bit distant. They WILL be back. Probably same time next year.

Sort of torn between joy that I can watch this as I was in hospital for the last three weeks and a bit concerned that it might be taking away from the band (not sure if that's really true). But at least for me, this will be the only change to see them, except when they release the highly anticipated rockumentary "The Great Journey of a Mighty Pigeon Conquerors the US Rock World One Small Hop At A Time" coming soon to Bluray.
Hope you're feeling better Glen. There was a Band-Maid videographer and photographer at every show. You can bet the band will be putting out a compilation of the US tour next year during their 10th anniversary. That will be much better than anybody's fancam and will surely not detract from sales of it because somebody saw a fancom. 😎

バンドメイドやその前のベビーメタルが海外から普及する理由の大きなひとつは、一般の人のTH-cam配信に寛容であることが大きい。日本の芸能事務所もいつまでもクローズ体質ではどんどんと代謝が遅れる。
BAND-MAIDの評価が低い国の一番は日本かもしれませんね🙄

An excellent show no doubt! And Miku is a whirlwind of energy and excitement. I like to think she got some of that from us. Hope we can do it again in 2023.

SO nice to meet you, we had a blast for sure. so nice to have this captured! I was on Kanami's side about 30 or so feet back from the stage & thought it sounded good as well. Only time I heard an echo was when Miku was talking
at 58:30 this where poor Kanami is about to pass out and had to leave the stage😟

Like throwing grapes in the air and trying to catch them in your mouth. Not usually a good result. lol. It's 1000% luck. I think most people get theirs off the floor.
Did you see The Bottom Line vlog of the show? He was apparently a bit behind us on the side and you can see the backs of me (a bit bald) and Vlad (a but tall).

They played the concert closer DOMINATION at every US show. But this one they play the version with the instrumental middle section like they did at Line Cube Shibuya. Everyone was VERY happy. Thank you.

@@akhkymm yes sir. we were all very happy. I enjoyed every minute of the day, I was there from 9am. I miss them so much already. they are such great entertainers. So much fun, so kind. Bonus that I got to hold Miku's hand for a brief moment when she grabbed my hand and said byebye. Oh, what a great night it was. they sounded fantastic as always and I love seeing them have so much fun performing together.

I imagine that people like you who live in America didn't listen to much music from other countries because the American music scene has global scale and global standards. (*From the 60's to the 90's, the American music scene brought great music to Japan.)
However, ironically, "Covit" and TH-cam have created time for Americans and Europeans to come into contact with music from around the world. I was able to meet BAND-MAID, LOVEBITS, and NEMOPHILA.
From what I read on the Internet, I learned that the current American music scene is not a very good music scene for "young rock bands".
If BAND-MAID breathes new life into the American rock scene, I hope they will become a bigger presence and "Domination" the American music scene.
And I think it would be great if the American rock scene revived.

Are the people up on the balcony audience members, staff members or just random people visiting the theme park? They got a good view of the show, in any case.
I asked earlier if we were allowed up there and was told NO. Band-Maid staff was on the floor above that one. They kept going up and down before the show. Never saw the Maids tho but I'm sure they were up there too.
Those were the park staff as well as some photographers. The park wasn't open for public during the concert.
How's the sound? It doesn't sound all that good from these cell phone recordings.
It's not professional but I'll take over nothing at all.
