Best rock band on earth. And Saiki has such a distinct and incredible voice. The songwriting is so friggn good. All 5 of them are the top of the top. Been listening to them literally every single day almost all day lol for over 7 years. No matter how much, I never get tired of anything they do. And Saiki is also the sexiest singer on earth. Akane and Misa are so freakn tight and are the best rhythm section around. Kanami is an insanely great songwriter and guitar layering wizard, and Miku absolutely kills it as a rhythm guitar player and backup singer. They’re literally perfect to me.
Old dude here... I have to say I have never loved a band like I do these amazing ladies. Each member is unique, each with their own individual skill, which none of them are really alike, but you put them all together and it's pure magic. And I really believe if you took one of them away, they would not be Band-Maid. Astounding, simply astounding.
During No God, the ppl on the side of the stage were going nuts for BAND-MAID. Security guy couldn't hold his emotions throughout the whole BM set, lol. Let's hope festival promoters on their other festival gigs see this performance and put BAND-MAID on during the prime slots at night. CONGRATULATIONS BAND-MAID ON AN EPIC PERFORMANCE AT ROCKVILLE!!!

Saw them the next night in Atlanta in a venue that was all theirs, sold out. They were really on: really confident and the vocals in particular were sharp. Saiki I thought was really at the top of her game.
The BEST security guard ever! Not to sound corny but they did not hold back tonight. Sadly I haven't seen Band-Maid in person yet BUT out of all the official performances, FanCams, etc. this 30 minute set might be the best. They were feeling it and the sound and crowd were great. Love it! Thanks for posting this! Without fancams and reaction videos I don't think I would have ever found Band-Maid.
As someone who has seen them four times let me assure you they do not disappoint. Just like they don't make bad music. They will certainly have some songs that are not in one's personal favorite genre but even those songs are well written and well performed.
That was so high-energy, I can imagine everyone else had their phones up not to film, but to charge up. (EDIT: The day after I posted this, someone at the Atlanta show told them they were “high energy,” and Miku made the same joke about holding up phones to charge them!)
I think the little group watching and cheering for Band Maid on the left-hand side of the stage are the ladies from the band Conquer Divide who performed earlier on the day. It is so great to see other bands supporting one another, genuinely respecting their talent, and being happy for them.

I was stuck in the Atlanta Airport as i missed my connection, and it was too late to hit the Atlanta show, so i uploaded my opening of the show video, and it sucked, but i saw you beat my upload by an hour. I watched your video 10 times or more in the airport, and on the plane as i had downloaded it to my phone. Your recording is an instant legend, a treasure i will always keep close! Man i went all out for this abbreviated set, and people thought i was crazy. It was a "before i die" 48 hours beach front at the Hard Rock Hotel, 100.00 all you can eat seafood dinner, long walk on the beach, and swim in the ocean, cool cabbies, BAND-MAID ORGASM, and pizza, and beer on the beach! Saw BM last Monday in Austin ( in a criminally small venue for these amazing artists ) and they just killed for 1.5 hrs so tight so talented. They will be the biggest band, you can't hold back this much talent which includes the best song-writing in rock presently. They broke out One and Only here, they played You in Austin. They have so many great songs that are not in their regular rotation its a joy when they break out a new one they havent played in a while.
They played "Unfair Game" the last time they were in the states and I'm ready to punch a hole in the wall because I missed it. It's just crazy how deep and how good their catalog of songs is

Holy shit...this is one of their best performances ever. "Warning!" is such a good song, it works perfectly as an opener and a closer. And Kanami didn't just bring incredible energy, she had one of her best days on guitar. Absolutely amazing show.
They'll just be getting more and more respect in regards to stage show/lighting. Well deserved and climbing that latter to Headliner ! Which they should be already IMHO

That was cool being there as well Never heard of them b4 but glad we headed to that stage. High energy and the bass was pounding. Bass player was very impressive as well as BEAUTIFUL. Great stage presence by all. Sunday night broke a record for the promotor. Hope they come back.
Great. They knew how important this gig was and that they had to do a fantastic performance. But it's no use just knowing that. A band must also have the ability to do it when it matters and band-maid can do that. I'm sure a lot of people from the audience will later look up what kind of band this is. Band-maid rules! :-)
I used to think the power ryhtmic trio in Band-Maid was Kanami, Misa, Akane. But man, Miku has ramped up her rythmic skills to the point of fully playing her role in a power quatuor now. And all of this rythmic role being held while singing complex harmonies with Saiki. She is just impressive. She is the center of the band now with ther four other stars gravitating around her.
And she is just having the time of her life up there. She loves these songs as much as any of us fans, and now she can express herself with that gorgeous ax with her name on it. Totally deserves to “have exciting.”
saiki might very well be the hardest-working member of her band, and her band may very well be the hardest-working band in this world, right now, for the past twenty-plus years!

The greatest rock band I have ever known, that's what BM is. I just came back from their live at CLUB CITTA’, Kawasaki , JP (Jan 19, 23). They did not play anything new, BUT, they threw new and unheard smashes and arrangements with their good old hits. They also announced that they’re visiting US and Mexico this August, which will be their third time in US this year around the roll, already.
I'll tell you what I thought was cool about this video. The big, burly, bearded security guy in front of the stage started the set wearing a bandana over his ears. He was very stoic. By the end of their set, he had the bandana off his ears, he was bobbing his head to their music, and during "No God", he was jumping up and down with music and the audience. That was cool! Band Maid has that effect on everyone!

I just came back from their live at CLUB CITTA’, Kawasaki , JP (Jan 19, 23). They did not play anything new, BUT, they threw new and unheard smashes and arrangements with their good old hits.
They also announced that they’re visiting US and Mexico this August, which will be their third time in US this year around the roll, already.

I'm glad that they brought "One and Only" out for this. That's one of their best chorus vocal hooks.
I'll tell you what I thought was cool about this video. The big, burly, bearded security guy in front of the stage started the set wearing a bandana over his ears. He was very stoic. By the end of their set, he had the bandana off his ears, he was bobbing his head to their music, and during "No God", he was jumping up and down with music and the audience. That was cool! Band Maid has that effect on everyone!
