Replacing the carrier bearing and u-joints on a double cab first generation Tundra TRD double cab 2wd. Mark everything before you take apart your driveshaft so you can line it up again.
Yeah I hear you about heat. Spray with penetrating oil. Are you sure you’re lined up? The press and impact should make it move. Have you tried resetting the press to the other side. Hope you’re successful. Did you remove the clips? Take a look at diagrams and make sure everything is good to go. Try doing it without the impact (socket set) in case the impact has an issue if you’re sure it’s lined up and free.
Happy Easter to you! Also don’t be afraid to take it to a machine shop/mechanic with a press. Hope you get it done….also a great excuse for an air hammer…wish Milwaukee made an electric one
Could you please give any tips for taking the joint apart even with a impact and a press it does not want to budge
Which joint?
@@snaph my bad my universal joint on my drive shaft I’ve tried pressing and hammering I was a little nervous to use heat so I didn’t do that

If it’s stolen it was stolen from here. But whatever. Glad folks are getting their racks fixed. You’ll be able to tell by posting date.
@@snaph That's the weird part, they posted before you. Maybe you reuploaded at some point?
