Wasn’t he supposed to mark the position of the shaft sections and spyders? Drive shafts are balanced as a single unit...??

He put it back together out of phase, the center u joint is not lined up with the transmission u joint. I bet it rode different after this and not in a good way.. he did everything correct just overlooked that detail upon replacing the center yoke

I think me may have let one of the cup bearings fall to the bottom of the cup is the reason why the cup wouldn't go back in place. He's gonna have to take it apart again and replace the cup/s.

I'm a total noob and watched many videos on this change. And one of the things he didn't do before is to make marks to make sure it all aligns properly when putting it back together. There is no way of knowing unless you compare the markings.

Lol yeah that’s normal. I wouldn’t allow customers into my work area for one when I’m working I don’t like customers asking questions or questioning my skills. Like let the man do his job. 2. It’s dangerous for someone that’s not use to being around a garage, with a camera. I’m assuming all this but before anyone gets in defensive mode. If he trips or get in the way, or stand in the wrong place. There’s a lot of moving parts and not much room to begin with. The mechanic is doing his job and can probably move around his work area with blink folds. And to have someone with little to no knowledge that close to the action and in the way. And 20 questions. Mostly obvious to even beginners. If you didn’t see any tranny fluid come out of the diff slotted into the tranny. He should wr

Wow I would not like to have a customer follow me around for many obvious reasons. His lack of knowledge of mechanical skills. And holding the camera not being attention. With all this moving parts. One wrong step could be his last. Facts are that the most beginner mechanics. Are happy When the transmission fluid and the differential transmission fluid are coming out when a driveshaft is coming out. If there’s none then I would be worried, if I was him. But I it could be a leak from the gasket etc. but You’re asking for a lawsuit allowing him So do you dangerous close. And second-guessing everything A mechanic insinuates no trust no trust. It’s ok to ask questions or record from a distance. That man can probably move around and shop with my his eyes closed. I would not leave an experience curious customers unattended for a second. Should’ve put an exhaust check on that shaft well you went to Grab something. One so no damage is done to the differential, shaft ends etc. The customs for head. You just never know some people intentionally want to get hurt. He has the perfect evidence. A camera. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. I was So close to danger and I did not know. Customer safety is number one priority and getting the f out of my way when I’m working could be hazardous. This is not a tssh

Holy crap, anyone is allowed to mangle jobs at these garages!
Still, the guy attempting to repair is beyond patient.
I couldn't keep watching after several minut3s if him popping that u joint...

There was a vibration on acceleration and on further inspection the center support bearing was busted up
