I love style #2, the darker shade with the waves. It's very fresh looking, and full of movement that makes her look younger. It brings out her eyes and, more than any other style, minimizes the minor issue with her nose (which I wouldn't even have noticed if she hadn't mentioned it). If she wants to go gray, I would still go with this wavy style.
Number 4 looks very stylish and youthful! I love that you're showing more 'complete' changes rather than 'smaller' suggestions. Always enjoy watching you and the great outdoor backdrop is so cheerful!
I love the darker shade with waves! It makes her look at least 10 years younger and it makes her beautiful eyes stand out! However, that style probably would be better the most costly- in time and money.
The dark (2nd option) and gray both look fantastic with her eyes! IMO, her concern about her nose seems to disappear with the wavy style. There’s just something about the movement and softness it creates. She’s beautiful with regardless🤍
I really appreciate the angle you take when approaching each person's questions!! You are so kind and truly thoughtful with your curveballs. I bet Andrea has a new pep in her step!! Now I want your help too!! Thank you to your and your wife for doing what you do on this channel!!
I think it’s great that she wants to embrace her silver hair and loved the two styles you showed us early-on utilizing a couple different styles with the silver. I think she also looked great in all the other colors and styles you presented, she has beautiful icy blue eyes and a great smile and seems to transition effortlessly into a variety of looks. The thing is, if she stays blonde or goes darker, she’ll be right back where she started with more maintenance trying to keep the color fresh and not show her grey roots. So, I say go grey with one of the fabulous cut and styles you showed and rock it! 💫
I totally agree! I think the gray is stunning on her, so that would be probably the direction I would pressure toward. But she could definitely go dark from the look perspective however, you are not wrong when it comes to the maintenance!
I find your videos very informative! I to thought I wanted to go gray after being a blonde, but after sometime, I found I needed to go back to blonde to brighten up my hair and skin tone.
Yes, I agree with the 1st one with her gray hair...she can rock any look...But I do really like the 1st one alot...Also my 1st time viewing this site...I will be watching a lot more too...Loved listening to him...😉❤️
My hair switched from straight to curly in 2016. I learned how to manage curly hair, then started getting some grey appearing here and there. I worried that all the work I'd done to learn about managing curly hair would be a waste with it turning grey. Then I saw a photo of a woman with a curl pattern almost identical to mine and a very similar cut/style, which was all grey and silver. It was an amazingly beautiful silvery mane! Now I can't wait for my hair to also turn silver, and it's taking too long! 😂
I liked the first grey option (not the second so much - color wise). Definately on board with growing out the layers. Yes, I agree, the bob is one fantastic versatile classic.
I love the dark brown waves...but it is a lot of upkeep when you're going gray. I love the gray options. Grow out the layers...most important! I can't wait to see what she decides if you have a follow up from her! Her blue eyes are stunning!
What I liked was the first grown out gray look. You’re right about how well it sets off her eyes. Moreover, it flatters her cool skin tone more than the yellow she is growing out. I wasn’t a fan of the other cuts and think they looked too heavy. I was hoping to see a pixie actually just in case she wanted to get rid of the yellow quicker and look ✨sassy✨. But I’m glad for her that she has nice, thick hair that will look amazing when it’s gray👍🏻
I love all the grey options esp the more fuzzy unstructured look, and the #4 but in a greyer brown that lets her natural hair grow in ad lib. Great selections Justin, can;'t wait to see her decision.
I thought I really loved curveball #1 til I saw #2. Yep #2 gets my vote. And it actually convinced me to pick a darker shade for my next wig instead of going for greyish, because I'm 72 and love telling people that, because it always shocks them.... Thanks!
# 2, far and away the best. Waves and the intimation of movement look great on her. And the color could be modified if she chooses, but keeping multi-tones would be a must because she needs dimensionality. If she really wants gray she might need an in-depth color consult; I don't see salt and pepper as working well because it washes her out. Also don't think blunt ends work for her, feathering and softness are more flattering. Again, #2 has it all.
When I first saw #2 I was convinced that would be my choice but after seeing all 4 side by side, I see she has the ability to do every look.! I am one who tried to embrace my gray, but it was more pepper than salt and not a pretty shade of gray to boot. After 5 years of not digging it, I reintroduced high and low lights and love it. So depending on her % of gray, high and low lights is a bit more forgiving with the roots and less maintenance than all over color if she is not ready to go full on gray.
I love everything you've suggested for Audrea! I've been doing hair since 1984 and I was thinking exactly what you were thinking, even with the waves. Going shorter at the bottom would help while growing out the layers too. I hope she's happy with your suggestions. They will bring her up to date in so many ways. I love your van btw! I'm getting mine ready to go. Just finished installing the solar, fridge, and heater and getting ready to insulate.
Thank you for the side by side of each style! I love seeing her hair more off her face and number 2 looks more balanced especially when I see more of her body. I like the blonde highlights though so I would do highlights on the second style. Number 4 is nice on her also but with a little more width on the sides. She’s a very pretty woman! The current haircut is definitely not doing her any justice.
Love # 2. Darker Wave. She looks younger and more together. My natural hair is gray, but I color it medium natural brown. Thanks for the side by side comparisons. Awesome!
I think hair style No4 was best on her. The colour was not too radically changed- so she would feel very comfortable with it. But the cut was fantastic! Took years off her- without being too elaborate or fussy. It would be very easy for her to maintain herself, I think.😊
I love the 1st gray style. Would have loved to see your recommendations for her while growing out to a new style. I just went through that and it is so difficult to know what the best options are for that awkward phase.
I like the style of #2, however I like the the color of #1. I think color on #2 looks great, however the keep up gets a little maddening and costly. It may look great to have a look that she can have wavy or strait depending on what feels like for the day. Thank you so much.
Number ONE! I've been more salt less pepper since my 30s, but now that age has given me back my natural curls, I had a short bob done last week and it looks like a UFO landed on my head and a grandma came out. People who get to work with you are very fortunate. Happy Holidays, everyone!!
Wow! They all look great on her. The 2nd look makes her look younger but even the first one with the natural color and different style really bring her up to date. All are good options!
Your options are spot on! I get the growing out grey because I contemplate it every day. It's costly to color, but grey comes with maintenance too. Love the darker color on her to pop her eyes and smile 😃. I continue to love your videos and your no pressure attitude 💖
I really like 1 and 4. For me, it's the grow out time. There are a lot of short, less than optimum layers to work thru. The grey out of her red hair is really pretty. Red hair Grey's so beautifully.
You're spot on for sure! And yes, red hair skin tone really works well with grey hair! Side note, thanks for your constant interaction on my videos! I truly appreciate it.
Ok I loved 2 and 4 on her !!! Number 1 for some reason drew my eyes right to her nose , which tbh I hadn’t even noticed until then . I loved the darker color on her but also loved everything about number 4 for her !!! Whatever she chooses will look beautiful on her !! ❤❤❤
You are quite the talent! I loved the grown-out longer, first gray picture. It appeared thicker after the layers grew out and it softened her appearance. Outstanding video and beautiful woman!
The shape of curveball 1 and 2 were my favorite...keeping her natural grey. Knowing from my graying experience...grey has so many different tones. I have a layered shaggy kind of cut that showcase how beautiful the bright white, silver, blue-grey tones and my brown ends that are happening. It is very interesting in my curly hair. ❤❤❤
Love to see Andrea embracing her silver strands at whatever stage. The first cuts looked gorgeous on her- the one you showed before #1, #1 itself and the layered waves of #2. Think they look soft and sexy and would be versatile for her. I sure hope she does a follow up with you!
I’ve learned so much from you. I got a gold star 😂. I love all the options you gave her. She looks so fresh and radiant. The first option my favorite but all look great!
Justin, I love this series…I’m a long time subscriber! Thank you for your honest, yet kind suggestions! Your curveballs are so creative and enlightening! It’s great that your videos show a variety of styles and hair color! I appreciate the inspiration! ❤️
I feel the same. With the other styles it appears she's hiding behind her hair and honestly this is the first time I ever thought his suggestions on the cut were horrible and didn't suit the features at all.
Justin, I personally was taken aback by the first style! She looked like a totally different person. Loved the color too!! She is a pretty woman and the three curveballs are nice. If I had to chose a second choice, I’d go with the second style. Like you always state: go with what you’re most comfortable with. I wonder what she decides! And I’m going to check out the blow dryer!! I enjoy your input! Thanks!! 16:51
The most exciting part about you is that you are actually in nature, all the time... you have a real deep life... and you help people look and feel better! Bravo!
I like #1 for the grey grow out and the cut. Number 3 is good for the color, altho I'd go a little lighter. I like the the more straight-across ends in #3 for the youthful fullness better than the uneven ends in #1. Her natural grey growing may go with her skin tone best and of course be less trouble and expense than coloring forever.
To me, this is such an example of how letting your hair go grey/natural can make you look so much more beautiful!..I love the grey and the hairstyles with the grey!….she is definitely going to rock it!!!!…it will be 3 years in March for me, going grey!…she will be SO happy with it!…her eyes pop so much more with the grey!!!…beautiful no matter what she chooses!!!…great video, Justin!…I am also going to look into that dryer!… I need a new one!…say hi to Dionna from me!…be safe and enjoy every moment!!!!…much love and appreciation from your OGCOMMUNITYROCKSTAR 💜💜💜💜💜
I love the dark wavy look! I know it is a lot of upkeep but it looks great. Or even if she stays with gray, I still think that wavy style gives a lot of youth and movement!
I think #1 looks great. Maybe I'm wrong but didnt she say in her email that she likes the grey that's coming in? Also her face shape does NOT need thinning down. As we age, if we arent obese our faces naturally lose volume. Mine certainly has. I am 78, have longish to the shoulders completely silver white hair and very light skin. My face is shaped like hers but has lost the fullness in my cheek area though I've always had high cheekbones with hollows under them even in my early 30s...which I hated. I wear my hair up in a clip all the time because I cant stand it on my neck and I dont want the "old woman bubble look". 🤣
I don't like #1 at all. I think it adds years instead of making her appear younger. #2 is my favorite by far! I think the hair away from her face with a bit of curl works wonders for her. #3 is ok cut wise but the color is too dark for that style on her and it appears to pull her face down. Same with #4, that tone doesn't work well with that cut. Personally, even if she were to allow her grey hair to shine I would much prefer it in the style of #2. That particular style brings out her beauty and allows her face to be seen. It doesn't appear as though she's trying to hide behind her hair.
Style #1 in any of the colours would be great on Audra. It’s a very youthful look on silver/ salt & pepper and very versatile for smooth or wavy styling. The volume is on top rather than clumped at her ears/cheeks. The style frames her face well and brings the eyes and smile to the fore. I’m not a hair professional, so I’m just reacting to how good she looks and how manageable I feel that style would be on a daily basis. The cut and shape is so good I think any colour choice would work. Thanks to you and Audra
Absolutely agree! Love #2. It would be nice even a bit shorter, but not much. Also, couldn't 2 be dried with a huge brush to keep body and frame the face? Is it just me or does anyone else think #3 makes her look smaller?
I really love all the options, but truly #2 and #4 stood the most out to me. I absolutely love the way you come up with the the difference options and explain each option. Thank you 😊 fir being the only channel I consistant watch.
I like how you show us progressions from what she has to what she could have...gives me ideas for myself. I also like that you don't come off as an artsy, arrogant, know it all...will be back
I love #2! It is similar to how I try to style mine, but lately I am losing volume and this look only seems to happen to the ends with less texture and volume near the crown. Love how the color accentuates her skin and eyes, makes her look younger!
Audrea, I want to assure you that when I saw your photo, my only thought was how beautiful you are. I did not notice your nose at all. As for options, I like 1 & 2 but wish the bangs were styled a bit differently, longer than they are now but not as long as the curveballs. Your beauty will carry you through whatever choice you make.
I love the wavy brown. Makes her look so youthful and, it’s an easy upkeep style, day-to-day styling, scrub and toss - i also loved #4, and i dint think either and as much color upkeep as i have with my Asian/Native american blk hair: the root upkeep has worn me down (!!) I’ve been contemplating this great idea of variegating color (less obvious root exposure) and this money Price face framing brighter fading back to deeper, rich brown is very up to date! Please post an update pic of you receive one from her
I like the first grey color with cut number 4. She's embracing the grey and that cut looks amazing on her!
Yes, that’s my favorite pick as well.
The salt and pepper really brings her eyes out. I love it. I love the color but would like the shortest one at the end
Wow! Even with gray she looks so much younger!
#2! Love how the color looks with her skin tone & the curls bring some energy, more style, brings focus to her face instead of pulling her face down.
Exactly my thoughts! Loved that one, gray or with dark.
#1 she looks beautiful with grey hair
Number 4 looks very stylish and youthful! I love that you're showing more 'complete' changes rather than 'smaller' suggestions. Always enjoy watching you and the great outdoor backdrop is so cheerful!
I love the darker shade with waves! It makes her look at least 10 years younger and it makes her beautiful eyes stand out! However, that style probably would be better the most costly- in time and money.
My favourite too for the same reasons. I also feel like it opens up her face and facial features ❤
100%
The dark (2nd option) and gray both look fantastic with her eyes! IMO, her concern about her nose seems to disappear with the wavy style. There’s just something about the movement and softness it creates. She’s beautiful with regardless🤍
Agree!
I like 1. I embraced my gray after hiding it for years. I also grew out my bob adding subtle layers. So much easier to style
I’m stoked to hear that you found a style you love!
Number 4 by far. Color is gorgeous on her and the style spot on. Much more youthful and vibrant.
I vote for #4 for the cut. So modern and current!
Gotta love it ! I like No 3. This lady is beautiful and can rock many hair styles. Great suggestions.
I really appreciate the angle you take when approaching each person's questions!! You are so kind and truly thoughtful with your curveballs. I bet Andrea has a new pep in her step!! Now I want your help too!! Thank you to your and your wife for doing what you do on this channel!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I just read this comment to my wife! You’re way too kind!
LOVE dark wavy. Dark bob is super cute, too!
I think it’s great that she wants to embrace her silver hair and loved the two styles you showed us early-on utilizing a couple different styles with the silver. I find your videos very informative! I to thought I wanted to go gray after being a blonde, but after sometime, I found I needed to go back to blonde to brighten up my hair and skin tone.
Yes, maintenance and toxic chemicals is the reason I stopped coloring. Go grey 😊
Yes, I agree with the 1st one with her gray hair...she can rock any look...But I do really like the 1st one alot...Also my 1st time viewing this site...I will be watching a lot more too...Loved listening to him...😉❤️

Now I can't wait for my hair to also turn silver, and it's taking too long! 😂
The second option is so perfect! It hit all the marks: youthful cut, perfect silver color, and really made her eyes and face shape pop.
I agree #2. Youthful and lifts the face.
I liked the first grey option (not the second so much - color wise). Definately on board with growing out the layers. Yes, I agree, the bob is one fantastic versatile classic.
I personally love the darker hair color. I think it brings more attention to her eyes and actually brings more light and life to her. Keep Smiling 😃
Definitely #1. Easy upkeep and really brings out her eyes.!!
I love Number 1 or 2 the best. Pretty gal.
I love the dark brown waves...but it is a lot of upkeep when you're going gray. I love the gray options. Grow out the layers...most important! I can't wait to see what she decides if you have a follow up from her! Her blue eyes are stunning!
I totally agree! I’m excited to hear what she decides to do as well!
@@justinhickox Did she ever update you?

Loved first grey look
2
I love all the grey options esp the more fuzzy unstructured look, and the #4 but in a greyer brown that lets her natural hair grow in ad lib. Great selections Justin, can;'t wait to see her decision.
Here is my guy!!!!…just started watching!….💜
#2...I love the grey...also going grey..as grey as a natural redhead can..but the 2nd is wonderful
Awesome! I can’t wait to hear how you like your gray hair once it’s gone out. And I agree, two is a fantastic option for her.
I like the pre-numbered gray the best. She’s a great looking woman, and the longer gray hair gives her a boho look that’s very cool.
4 was my favorite. And easier to hide the gray too. Looks modern and young. I'm surprised you didn't show something a bit shorter in a bob.
I thought I really loved curveball #1 til I saw #2. Yep #2 gets my vote. And it actually convinced me to pick a darker shade for my next wig instead of going for greyish, because I'm 72 and love telling people that, because it always shocks them.... Thanks!
Very few women look good with grey hair.
I love #2 for her, makes her look so much younger and youthful!
I love how you give us pictures to help us understand what you are talking about. I love all the styles in gray and the darker color. Thank you.
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing!!
I love the first darker wavy hair style and color. She’s beautiful and that look really pops on her. I love it!!
I totally agree!
I love 2, the color & slightly wave!
I think that’s gonna be a popular one!
#4 is perfect!
I think hair style No4 was best on her. The colour was not too radically changed- so she would feel very comfortable with it. But the cut was fantastic! Took years off her- without being too elaborate or fussy. It would be very easy for her to maintain herself, I think.😊
I love #2, as you numbered in the end. The light brown takes years off her lovely face.
I love the 1st gray style. Would have loved to see your recommendations for her while growing out to a new style. I just went through that and it is so difficult to know what the best options are for that awkward phase.
Me 2
Oh yes, me *THREE!*
1
Yes PLEASE!
I like the style of #2, however I like the the color of #1. I think color on #2 looks great, however the keep up gets a little maddening and costly. It may look great to have a look that she can have wavy or strait depending on what feels like for the day. Thank you so much.
I love the first gray style. I like it when hair stylists encourage our age group to keep our hair length a bit longer.
Wow! Your suggestions are a huge change. I love the first style. Her skin looks better, her facial features are striking and she looks so up to date!
Number ONE! I've been more salt less pepper since my 30s, but now that age has given me back my natural curls, I had a short bob done last week and it looks like a UFO landed on my head and a grandma came out. People who get to work with you are very fortunate. Happy Holidays, everyone!!
Thank God hair grows. Your description did make me smile though 😊
Number 2 for sure. I like that the hair is off her face. She looks younger to me. I not a fan of gray hair.
👍 agree
#2 for sure! The waves and the color give her a more youthful look.
I like a combination of 1 & 3. The cut of 3 with the color of 1. I like the grey hair on her. Thanks for the recommendations Justin.
I love the 2nd look - I think it makes her look a lot younger…the darker color is great…the blonde and grey ‘wash her out’….just my opinion
3 & 4 both look great !!! I like her salt & pepper look & blonde. She's fortunate that so many styles and colors fit her. Pretty lady !!!
Loved option #2 on her the most! This choice really emphasizes her eyes and gives a fresher; more vibrant look.
My vote is definitely #2. I'd like to see one of these looks with slight bangs that look different/longer than her current bangs.
No. 1
The color and cut are classy. Her smile seems brighter and more confident.
Love to see Andrea embracing her silver strands at whatever stage. The first cuts looked gorgeous on her- the one you showed before #1, #1 itself and the layered waves of #2. Think they look soft and sexy and would be versatile for her. I sure hope she does a follow up with you!
Although I swore to my husband that I'd never go gray.. she is rocking it! I vote for #1! But she's beautiful with any of them.
I’ve learned so much from you. I got a gold star 😂. I love all the options you gave her. She looks so fresh and radiant. The first option my favorite but all look great!
Thank you so much! I love that you’ve learned so much. That makes all of this worth it!!!!!
My favorite is #1, but I also quite like #2.
Justin, I love this series…I’m a long time subscriber! Thank you for your honest, yet kind suggestions! Your curveballs are so creative and enlightening! It’s great that your videos show a variety of styles and hair color! I appreciate the inspiration! ❤️
#2 is by far the best looking. I like the waves the length and definately the color.
I love the dark hair curls, but even with gray, it would still be stunning.
I feel the same. With the other styles it appears she's hiding behind her hair and honestly this is the first time I ever thought his suggestions on the cut were horrible and didn't suit the features at all.
That would definitely be a fantastic option! I totally agree.
1 and 3 look great on her.
Justin, I personally was taken aback by the first style! She looked like a totally different person. Loved the color too!! She is a pretty woman and the three curveballs are nice.
Love the all over brown color and the cut bob makes her look younger.
I like the style & color of #1
They all look great, but as an older woman, option #2 makes her look very youthful and who wouldn’t want to look younger! ❤
I love the dark wavy look! I know it is a lot of upkeep but it looks great. Or even if she stays with gray, I still think that wavy style gives a lot of youth and movement!
I’d like to see her with a grey #2. But…if the curls are hard for her to manage I’d say #1.
Great point, and I think that’s going to be a popular response! A lot of people have already mentioned that as well. I totally agree.
I really like the #4 color & cut, totally awesome, plus it makes her eyes really pop❤❤
I think #1 looks great. Maybe I'm wrong but didnt she say in her email that she likes the grey that's coming in? Also her face shape does NOT need thinning down. Excellent job on explaining the options and giving great examples! I vote number 4. It makes her look more youthful and brings out her beauty. Imho
I think number two is going to be a very popular one! And I agree that that haircut and style, but in the natural gray would be awesome!
#2 is very flattering, it’s youthful, goes great with her eyes and balances out her nose concerns.
I really like the first picture with the salt and pepper...looks very natural and lovely on her.
I LOVE #2!!! Makes her look so very young. My next choice would be number four but she rocks number two
Absolutely agree!
Love the grays. Especially the first one, layers grown out. And the blondish bob... so, 1 and 4.
I love the first two changes with her hair gray but that cut difference is really flattering!
Love the dark with waves- makes her look younger! Gray makes her look OLD! Uky!!!!
I actually like all of them! The shapes are so much better and pretty for her.
The first and last are my favorites. Love the bang length and the silver!
I feel #4 looks amazing. I might go for it myself!
I like how you show us progressions from what she has to what she could have...gives me ideas for myself. I also like that you don't come off as an artsy, arrogant, know it all...will be back
You did great. For me number 2 was her best look. She looks beautiful.
I love the suggestions and you aren’t dumb Justin. You are trying to give different ideas and making us think!
I like the first gray one it looks good with her skin tones
Option 4 color gives her skin a vibrant glow. She looks so much younger and full of life. Love the style on Option 2.
Long dark looks best!! The third look is the charm!!
I liked the first gray option for color and cut, and then curve ball #3.
OMG I love the first total change with the full salt and pepper!
Love #2 it really makes her face look sleek, younger coloring is perfect
I love the wavy brown. Makes her look so youthful and, it’s an easy upkeep style, day-to-day styling, scrub and toss - i also loved #4, and i dint think either and as much color upkeep as i have with my Asian/Native american blk hair: the root upkeep has worn me down (!!) I’ve been contemplating this great idea of variegating color (less obvious root exposure) and this money Price face framing brighter fading back to deeper, rich brown is very up to date!
