Hey, IG main here. He's using the Foliacath Forz which is regarded as one of the best kinsects due to it's high speed stat and high power. In my opinion though, the Foliacath is better used with elemental IG's since you can infuse a kinsect with an element and depending on the monster you can do 40 to 60 dmg per insect attack. For raw builds I like to use the Valorwing Medis since it has the same speed, less power but it deals blunt damage so you can stun the monster and you also have higher healing potential if the monster has green extract.
@@jeycii6143 Yes, you would need a different one and infuse them with one of each element. However, although the extra damage is always nice but is not mandatory. At the end of the day your main damage is your glaive. I would recomend using the valorwing for general use and as you get comfortable with the weapon you can use foliacath to match a monster's elemental weakness.
Just took a look at this build and pieced it together on mhw builder sight. Stats came out to 90%, suggestion to put affinity increases one on the Glaive giving you the full 100%
I noticed that the last hit, when you reach the ground, does the majority of the damage. Insect glaive really needs a buff, with lance. And SnS needs a nerf. Its all perfect rush spamming now and it outdamages all weapons that are meant for dps, its crazy
Seb Zero SnS was always a Dps monster. It just didn’t get the attention Greatsword or others got. Why would you want a nerf to a weapon? I agree though that IG and Lance need a buff!
Why would Lance need a buff? I'm an inmovable object with guard 5 and an unstoppable force doing 120+ per poke... I don't know how ya'll play Lance to say that it needs a buff.
SeranaIsBae you’re absolutely correct on lance. It doesn’t need a buff at all, and I don’t know why I added that in. Lance is a beast of a weapon and probably my second favorite. 👍

Its an underused weapon, and 120 isnt much compared to other weapons
