Your layered armor setup looks dope
Looks great, but is attack worth grabbing if I want to drop most of the defense stuff? One shield seems to work for me.
I gotta get back into HBG, but I can't seem to find those specific combo gems.
Insane build dude , i am still lacking guard up gem , do i really need it? I am using uragaan 2 piece to get 5 guard and guard up but its not optimal at all , still kills everything less than 10 minutes but this build is so sweet, guard up needed for which attacks?
Thank you! Guard Up allows Blocking attacks like Teostra's Supernova, Vaal Hazak's Effluvia Breath, etc :)
Makes a build that's about being "tanky" and doesn't even block a single attack in the video lol. I just made a very similar build and love it. But I haven't got all the armor or decos listed in this video yet, so I have things to work towards. I love this set up.

I use two pieces of gold rathian armor in my build so I have guard 5 and divine protection 5 for those moments when monsters do manage to get past my guard when I’m attacking or reloading
Same I love 2 piece gold rath. Having 5 divine for 2 piece helps for unexpected attacks
what part of the gold rathian set do you use?

500hrs in. I still havent got a single challenger jewel and guard up...
I got mine just beating up elder dragons in the guiding lands for about 2 hours. It helps if you don't cart at all in the guiding lands
they gave one challenger jewel this week in the daily rewards
I'm 1000+ hours in and still no shield up or challenger jewels

i know chip dmg can be an issue but you can do it with guard 1 or 3 , since you are not investing in 3 shield mods to give to that lance shield equivalent you are still taking chip dmg. you can sub the charm for spare shot. for the ppl with no guard up decos you dont need it for most monsters . divine blessing doesnt work when you are blocking so its up to personal preference.
any good remedies if I don't have a guard up gem?
WWithout guard up you just can't tank some hits. I guess you'll just play around evading them

I’ve dedicated my time to make this build and with tempered and elder tempered not do well in grinding lands am I missing something I heard this is one of the best HBG. Since they killed my main weapon
If you're taking too much chip damage, try replacing one or two Close Range Up Mods for Shield Mods :)

I tried this on tempered Rajang didn’t go well 😅 even with 4 shield mode ,guard 5 , guard up
@@FrankTank47 Rajang deals insane chip damage, a Sticky LBG Build is better vs him since you can dodge-reload his attacks and have a much better mobility :)

Man I have over around 300 silver melding tickets under my belt. and have gotten multiple attack decos and by multiple, I mean like 7 in 300 hell thats not even about right i got 7 attack decos in under 80 silver melding tickets but that shield deco pisses me right the fuck off. shield deco and minds eye are one of hte rarest decos I have ever seen. Hell, i got 13 magazine decos in 300 silver melding tickets. still not a single freaking shield deco or mind's eye. I cant evne finish the build because shields the only deco im missing lol and in 400 hours nothing. Guess ill leave blank or add something else to fil it up maybe an attack deco or some shit.
I am missing the augmentation materials for unlocking another decoration slot on Loyal Thunder, can someone plz tell me the materials needed?

What are the resources for loyal thunder?
It's mainly the TIer 2 tempered monsters in guiding lands is the issue - finding that spiritvein Solidbone - apart from that it's one gem from a MR elder dragon and then zinogre stuff.
But it's really necessary have release jewels?
If you don't want release, 3x Flawless/Vitality Jewels (Peak Psrformance/Health Boost) would also be good, however the shorter magazine will yield a slightly lower DPS :)
