Wait wait wait, your CEL wouldnt clear even when you commanded the OBD2 scanner to clear the code? And cleared when you drove it? Thats insane cause I have my car on jack stands idleing and trying to turn off the code after putting oem sensor. Car wont let me rev past 3200 but I just realized it was in park when reved it. Im gonna give it a drive to see of it shuts off.
@@notenuffccs no it drove normally for me, I did have a misfire issue again a couple weeks later but it was due to spark plugs needing to be replaced. Once I did those issue was gone.
Did you have to do any relearn process reset ? did you gain power after replacing the sensor? basically just plug and play.? 🤔
No relearn or change of power, just plug and play.
Thanks for watching and the comment!
Is this the same process for a 2005 civic hybrid

Yes it said something about it being a severe code so it needed to be driven for 25miles for it to clear.

So when you drove, was it in limp mode and wouldn't let you pass 3k rpms?
