The theory that Batman deep down always knew it was Jason Todd under the Arkham Knight mask is actually kind of canon. The Arkham encyclopedia says that Batman always knew deep down it was Jason.
Given that joker kept reminding bats about the whole jason todd story and this joker although bought on by joker disease plus fear toxin , this joker is a part of batman phsyke meaning that was quite possibly his subconscious coming out his instincts that he usually choses to ignore because part of them are to do with killing so he was used to ignoring the insanity and repressing that side which is why joker kept speaking to Bruce about jason because joker side of bars already knew the truth but regular bats thought the idea to insane to be true
Im thinking batman knew it was jason but he was trying everything he can to know that it wasn't him with how desperate he became with alfred to find out who he is and he got more panicked cuz it kept confirming that it was jason
Add to this, back when Arkham Knight was revealed we all said "This seems like Jason" but they did insist it was a new character. Lie, bad PR, insane Kojima stunt style "ruse" or whatever aside, It really did kind of put us in the same mental space as Bruce, he was lied to that Jason was dead, and like him, I kept thinking "After all of this how can it NOT be Jason." Once the mask came off, I probably felt how Bruce felt, angry that I was right. Albeit a fraction as intensely. If that was some intentional mind game instead of sloppy PR. Bravo. I will still say this here too though, Arkham Knight is the answer to what if Joker wasn't alive for Jason to fixate his anger on, I wont ramble in detail without being asked, but I don't think it should lead to him becoming "Red Hood" in this universe. Even if that is like my favorite batman moment and character story.
One thing that makes me think the Black Mask theory is correct is because he begs for his life when Jason kills him. And in Arkham Origins he was tortured and likely going to die before Batman got involved, and he never begged to be let go. So it seems he doesn't really care if he ever dies and wouldn't be begging for his life.
@christiansieger1609 No. That was just one of his henchmen more than likely. You see black mask in the beginning of Arkham city which is when you also see he has the mask burned onto his face.
I think those examples are more just instances of “video game logic” or the result of Rocksteady and Warner Bros Montreal each doing things differently from one another with the series. I mean the dialogue between The Joker and Harleen Quinzel (that was referencing the episode “Mad Love” in Batman: The Animated Series) which was recorded on to audio tapes in Batman: Arkham Asylum was kind of retconned by WB Montreal in Batman: Arkham Origins. Then again, WB Games obviously had Rocksteady acknowledge Arkham Origins’ existence in Arkham Knight so your point is still pretty valid.
For the armor theory pretty sure Batman later on realizes it slowed him down says it in convo with Alfred "Sir have you thought about heavier armor?" Batman:"I did slowed me down"
Arkham Batman probably faced the court of owls at some point in his career, in arkham city, when batman meets azrael, azrael says he comes from the order of st. Dumas and batman’s reaction is: “Just what I need, another secret society”. It’s funny because this was written before the court of owls existed and is probably a reference to the league of assasins, but it fits so well as a reference to them and if there’s ever an arkham origins sequel they would be a great final villain for the franchise.
Theory and just a cool easter egg that adds up with Theory #10: When Batman pulls out the Arkham Knight from his tank after destroying the Cloudburst and begins punching him, he actually knocks off the Arkham Knight’s visor. For a moment, Jason’s face was actually exposed but the fear toxin was too potent (remember that he had just puffed in quite a chunk of fear toxin just a bit earlier whilst fixing the Batmobile) and Bruce’s mind couldn’t cope with the pain of seeing his former Robin as this villainous military commander, which is why he sees Joker’s face instead of Jason’s. This explains why Jason’s having a full on mental breakdown in the Arkham Knight’s HQ mission and why he calls Bruce by his actual name. He has no reason to hide his identity anymore, he thinks that Bruce is already aware that it’s Jason under the mask. When Bruce asks him “who are you?”, he responds with “you really have no idea” that confusion probably comes from the fact that Bruce unmasked him earlier and still didn’t know who he was. The sudden switch in his attitude and his sudden rush to kill Batman and betray Crane makes more sense when you take this theory into consideration. Believing that Bruce saw his face and now knows who he really is pushed him over the edge and forced his hand as far as accelerating his plan to kill Batman is concerned.
Also the reason Jason doesn’t directly address this is probably because he saw Bruce’s reaction when he knocked off the visor. Bruce leans back in discomfort and touches the side of his head as though he’s coping with the effects of the fear toxin. Jason’s thought process in that moment must’ve been “shit, he’s seen my face but he must think it’s just the fear toxin and not actually me”
@@rudycastillo8928 you see that the Arkham Knight’s body is physically pinned down and still on the ground when the Joker’s face appears after Batman’s last punch. Then when Batman reacts to the effects of the hallucination and holds his forehead, that’s probably when Arkham Knight grabbed his visor and dipped
Theory 10 is just a fact. Batman suspected jason to the knight, only asking for Alfred to get the name because he didn't want it to be true. "Batman has rarely let himself be ruled by his emotions. Catwoman seems to be able to manipulate batman's feelings, as does the daughter of Rā's al Ghül, Talia. But when Batman encounters the mysterious arkham knight, he ignores, perhaps deliberately, clues to the knight's identity. For if the arkham Knight is who Batman secretly suspects him to be, then that means he has truly failed someone he considers family." Taken from batman arkham universe the ultimate visual guide.
In Arkham knight novel Batman knew Jason was The Knight but purposefully ignored the clues because if he was right the he'd truly lose as a mentor and a friend, it's also why he was not surprised when Jason unmasked himself only very disappointed
@@ikuya.3970 Joker says "Love the new car, Bats. All those guns! It's like an evil clown was whispering in your ear as you were drawing up the designs." You can hear it in The Arkham Channel's Secret Joker Dialogue video
On theory 8, there's also some that theorize that Batman doesn't always bring the same gadgets/doesn't bring the gadgets because he really doesn't expect the very worst to happen. For example: Asylum: He didn't need to bring a lot of gadgets because all he knew he was just escorting Joker, he did not expect a full blown prison break to occur and also he literally has a Batcave underneath the Asylum in case he needs some re-ups City: It was an emergency drop of the Batsuit so he could only use what Alfred could deliver him As for the batclaw boost theory, that's why it's called a prototype is likely because it's a prototype for the suit as keep in mind Origins is a lot bulkier than the City suit.
Here's a theory for you, take it or leave it: Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League takes place in an alternate Arkham universe. Hear me out. There's apparently an audio tape found in Suicide Squad of Deadshot talking about meeting another guy named Deadshot who is basically him in every way except that he's black and the other guy is white. Which to me says the original Arkham Deadshot accidentally stepped into an alternate dimension and met the Alternate Arkham Deadshot. This theory would explain a number of conitnuity issues and inconsistencies when it comes to the game taking place in the Arkham universe. It does take place in AN Arkham universe, but not ours.
According to the Arkham Universe Visual Guide, it could be canon in the story; considering the book actually states, that Batman might have been deliberately dismissing all the clues about the Arkham Knight's identity to the back of his mind, because if his hunch was correct it would be the ultimate reality check of how much he failed Jason being his adoptive son
For theory 8 : Even in one of the conversation when calling line luncher in Batman Arkham City, Alfrid ask him to have bigger belt and he replied its too heavy
Small detail, but I'm pretty sure in Asylum, Joker says that Boles is helping him bc Joker helped Frank out with some sort of problem years earlier so joker was calling in a favor. The idea of Frank being controlled by strange is intriguing though
I theory 10 makes sense Batman didn't want to believe it that's why he was thinking it had to be someone else he didn't want to believe it was Jason. But probably got more and more convinced it was that his own subconscious even dropped hints who it was although heavily influenced by Joker disease n Fear Toxin. Also I think there is a subtle detail everyone misses if you really think about when the Arkham Knight first properly introduces himself to Batman at Ace Chemicals there is a big hint if you use Detective mode on the Arkham Knight he shows up as Blue (I know it usually shows anyone and everyone in blue) but the Arkham Knights guns are NOT highlighted he's highlighted in all blue like most allies are indicating the Bat computer is familiar with him highlighting he's a not seen as a threat as it's still would know him as Robin or Jason Todd and that's it's Jason and maybe it also knows and recognises his voice despite his Knights cowled modulation if he was a unknown it would be red like the mitillia forces as even though he's in armor and masked the Bat computer knows who it is even if Batman himself refuses to believe it and maybe deep down Alfred had a suspicion but didn't want to acknowledge it as well but didn't want to believe it either.
Well from Shiva's audo files in Arkham Origins you can see that reopening Arkham Asylum was part of the Arkham City plan. The Riot was needed to prove the need to Arkham City. It would also explain how the Joker learned of Dr Young's Titan formula. So it is reasonable to assume that Hugo Strange prompted Joker to engineer his Riot.
It's likely that the test subjects Hugo strange experimented with in the asylum were likely the crazy enemy type found in the game and later had killed due to them being ignored by society, and frank boles along with the warden could've given him easier access
Wow 10 actually does put the story in a new light. The idea that Batman has Alfred searching for the Knight’s identity so desperately in the hopes he is wrong really explains his focus during the story. Then when the Knight calls him Bruce, Batman can’t deny it any longer, which is why he doesn’t contact anyone and when Jason reveals himself, Bruce is proven correct. I love this theory.
I really love the last theory, because you'd think that THE WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE would figure out something like that. ofc he doesn't care about bane's or joker's identities, because they showed up very early on in his career and they're both extremely recognizable (for example: bane is massive and joker has white skin + green hair). AK's suit is completely covering his body: no face, no skin color, nothing. just a man in a similar suit as batman, except that he just showed up out of nowhere and knows everything about him. rest is just what you said
Just my thoughts on those first two theories: Theory #1: While he might not store the fear gas there, I do think the Golden Bat-symbol may have something to do with why it glows when in Nightmare mode. Theory #2: I personally believe that Anarky (or one of his followers) was responsible for the initial fear gas attack that opens Arkham Knight. Obviously the culprit is wearing a red jacket, but if you look at the table you can see them etching an "A" similar to Anarky's logo.
What supports the Grapnel boost theory is that in Arkham Asylum when Batman’s suit gets torn it goes straight down to his skin, meanwhile in Arkham City his suit has another layer of armor underneath the cloth like stuff.
The fact after Batman got hit with fear toxin and started hallucinating about jason meaning his mind had already deduced Jason was the Arkham knight he just didn’t want to come to terms with it
I’ve always argued that Bruce knew the Arkham Knight was Jason. It makes so much sense that his hallucinations of Jason’s torture was him piecing it together, looking for any clues, trying to remember if there really was any solid evidence that he was for sure dead. He so badly wanted it to not be Jason that he wasn’t allowing himself to believe it even though he deep down knew it was true. And then when it’s revealed right in front of him, his worst fears are finally confirmed
Weren't tiger mercenaries made from the screaming crazies from Arkham Asylum? The whole idea behind titan started as 'make the patients tough enough to handle 'radical treatment.''
The Joker audio logs in Arkham City could also add to theory #6. Joker knew that Strange was surveilling him, most likely that he even had guards on his payroll. So perhaps that's his main motivation for getting rid of Boles. I'm also curious about his eye, is it ever explained what happened to it?
I watched this with low expectations but oh my god, this was very educational and entertaining and some of these are confirmed canon. Wow, great video 👍🏽
With theory #8, I never really thought of it as a theory. I thought that's what was intended. In his beginning years he was the DARK KNIGHT, the VENGEANCE. Just a spirit of vengeance stomping out gangs. When his relationship and trust grew with GCPD and Gordan, he entered the World's Greatest Detective arc. Literally a private detective solving cases.
Ok so what about every other corrupt official plus a few stragglers still in the police force, hell you even lock up one of them for being a riddler informant
I'm pretty sure that Theory #8 is already explained in-game and in-universe. Batman explicitly explains in one of the Arkham games for example that having all those items on his toolbelt "Slows him down" so he's very much on a "need at this moment" basis, when Alfred inquires to him why he doesn't just have all his gadgets on him immediately. It's why in none of the Arkham games he has his full arsenal, and it's pretty easy to assume that he just doesn't have his full arsenal in Arkham Asylum because, 1, he didn't think he was gonna need his full arsenal, and, 2, he only got the gadgets he needed in those specific moments WHEN they were needed. I don't even think it's an ego or confidence thing, I think he just genuinely doesn't bring gadgets he doesn't think he needs until he needs them. After all, why would he walk into Arkham Asylum with a full set of gear as if he's fighting a military when it's just a simple "Apprehend Joker and send him to Arkham" situation?
The theory about Boles being a Tyger can be confirmed by Joker's last tape in city where he mentions the presence of Strange in the Asylum and the interest him and the other Doctors had for his case. Then he kinda threatens Strange saying he knows about what he did to Warden Sharp and then says" If you want to make sure that no one else finds out about your past, you should stop poking your nose into mine." As far as I am concerned this clearly states that Joker was aware of Strange's plan and Boles condition and that's exactly why Strange let him do what he wanted in Arkham City.
For theory #8 According to the Arkham wiki, Origins batman looked so much more heavily armored because his armor was made almost entirely from kevlar. However, the V7 batsuit worn in Asylum and City is actually made from titanium reinforced kevlar. Meaning that he was probably able to get away with the same level of durability without all the excess bulk.
Knerd, you did a fantastic job here! You presented everything very well, giving relevant amounts of both skepticism and evidence for each claim, and it really allows your charisma to shine through while presenting legitimately fun and interesting concepts to ponder over. Genuinely a top-tier video!
Something else I noticed recently in the diner at the beginning is that if you look at the fridge then there’s a missing poster for Henry (the old man that was jokerized and kidnapped to put in the movie studios bat cave) and if you look at the news on the TV above it, the headlines talk about the other jokerized citizens that were also put in the movie studios lockup
My opinion on why asylum bats was "downgraded" from origins in terms of equipment was basically that he was traveling light that particular night, stuck with only what he happened to have in the field similar to the beginning of Arkham City where he is in an emergency batsuit and has to cobble together his equipment again, I personally like to think he just wasn't expecting what happened and was rolling light when he took the joker in, because as far as we know the joker just completely gave up without much fight at all, bats wouldn't have needed to be strapped to the teeth as far as he knew, and yes confidence and mobility are also all factors that would make logical sense
I always thought that the Joker was threatening to kill Boles' Family, like, literally the first thing he says to him is "How's the Wife and Kids?". I always thought that was Jokers way of telling Boles, "Do what I say or your family dies"
18:25 my idea is that they just wanted to have a few ways to pick up the story in arkham knight so they left this idea possible, but then saw how people reacted to joker's death and didn't want to undo it entirely
0:01 I’m pretty sure everyone already knew, that he knew It’s just that he wanted to deny it cause he could never imagine his dead son would do everything we went through Though it’s obvious signs it was someone close to Bruce. Considering he took a warning shot to Babs
With last part of theory 4 Batman was already influenced/suffering from the joker toxin back in Arkham city, when fighting Mr.freeze when your punching him in the helmet at the end of the fight you see the joker pop up in the suit
When I first played Arkham Knight last month, I constantly had this feeling that Batman deep down knew Jason was the Arkham Knight. My reason was that those Jason hallucinations came out of nowhere. He hallucinated Oracle’s Joker incident because this is the second time a villain came after her. The Jason hallucinations were his fears that Jason may be the Arkham Knight intensifying. It makes the whole story a lot more depressing.
So I think the G force argument is valid but there is one detail that everyone overlooks when talking about the Grapnel boost. The gadget in Orgins was technically a different gadget called the grapnel accelerator. Now we get into headcannon a little bit, but it's the best way to sort things out cleanly. The grapnel boost is a gadget that fills the same role as the accelerator, but is redesigned from the ground up to give a higher max output. The gadget was likely being designed in conjunction with the new suit much like the eject function on the Arkham Knight batmobile. The prototype version we see in arkham city likely had the top speed limited to keep the g force from killing him.
The Arkham Knight theory makes so much sense. That explains a lot about how Batman was acting. It actually makes me love the game more because it adds more meaning and depth to batman and jasons characters
I had a suspicion about theory 10 myself, but for a completely different reason. Towards the end of the game on the helicopter pad at Panessa studios, the joker says something about former allies working against him, hinting about jason todd. because the joker is a hallucination, maybe he was saying bruce's inner thoughts. that could mean he suspected the arkham knight was jason but it was the fear gas-hallucinations that let us see what batman is actually thinking through joker
My theory is that Batman already had all those gadgets during arkham asylum but he just did not take them with him. And he also did not wear his more "advanced" suits because he thought, abouth bringing joker to the asylum and leaving right away. That's why he got the batclaw from the batcave and the line launcher via batwing. He probably had more gadgets but he just stimply didn't need them.
I believe Asylum had a tie in canonical comic where it states the suit he wore was an emergency prototype Batsuit that he didn't finish yet, which explains why it is missing so many key features
The biggest problem with the first theory is that Bruce, Dick, Barbara, Tim, and Stephanie would never use chemical tactics in this way. In fact, only Jason and Azrael would for sure. Even Damien and Cassie would be disgusted by such a tactic, and both are willing and have killed.
for the final theory, theres also the possibility that alfred DID find out the identity of the arkham knight, but didnt tell bruce about it, thinking it might effect his judgment, since arkham knight was literally terrorising gotham with his militia and working with scarecrow, he had to be stopped, and its way easier for bruce to stop him not knowing hes jason todd
One small thing you missed about that frank boles theory was that in Arkham City, Arkham Asylum is now the base of operations for Tiger Guards. So there is a side of this that Hugo wanted the Asylum to shut down so that he could take it over, have his guards there, and have full access to all of his research (including all the other doctors research), labs, and equipment before Arkham City was fully build. It allowed him to continue conducting experiments on tiger guards and prisoners before his Arkham City plan was put into effect.
the starting sequence of Knight absolutely disintegrated (no pun intended) any theory that Joker survived the events of Arkham City, but I do like the devs joking about the theory with the fact that when starting a NG+ save and doing that sequence, Joker wakes up laughing before the incinerator finishes the burning
Theory 7 could actually be true, in the latest comic book for SSKTJL, in one of the cells, you can see Clayface. So he DEFINITELY survived the explosion, most likely because he was mixed Lazarus.
Well in the Arkham books the gcpd and hush got samples of clay face Hush used the clay to get rid of the scars And the gcpd found out clay face was alive just that he can’t do anything Basically a fate worse than death
I font know how i went down this rabbit hole of watching these Arkham theroy videos. Im definitely not complaining. This is a lot of fun, and it's genuinely making me rethink some things, lol.
I have a theory that the joker cloning theory is true, because its possible that they DID get cloned and the clone is laying low OR its still sane but later on the clone becomes insane like the OG Joker
This video is how I found out there are in fact 4 Arkham games and not just 3. Had no idea Arkham Origins was a thing and now I'm very excited to play it
Something I like about the Arkham knight’s identity theory Is that You as a player would’ve guessed it was Jason thanks to the hallucinations about his death that Batman has But by lore it makes sense The more he has encounters with the Arkham knight The more he thinks about it He comes to the realisation that it is Jason Todd And thanks to him not wanting to acknowledge it It gets represented with his hallucinations and his head canon on why Jason is doing all that
I think part of the discrepancy between Origins and Asylum might be that he streamlined his style and approach to what was effective and economical. Not just that he didn't want to rely on his gadgets. Infact he might have gotten into a rut at the time. Where he wasn't challenged to the extent he was before.
About the Tiger guards : I seem to remember the tie-in graphic novels revealing that Hugo Strange just hypnotized normal guards. Then again, I read them a long time ago and, already at that time, I picked up on quite a few inconsistencies and contradictions.
This can simply be explained away by the joker being such a loose cannon The officer balls was worried he was going to spell it out about the bribing situation 12:26
I believe the Project Cadmus easter egg in Arkham City and Killer Croc experiments in Arkham Knight were previews of Brainiac being the main villian in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. They had too many easter eggs for the Justice League in the games. They always gave hints to a greater threat in all the games and the looming greater mystery.

Another piece of evidence to add to "Theory" 5: In Arkham Knight, Jason's militia are not only specially trained, but they're specially trained against Batman, using insider knowledge Jason had from his time as Robin. And yet, they get terrified after a certain point, like every other enemy in the franchise EXCEPT Tyger Guards. Despite having more training than Tyger, the Militia still become fearful of Batman, becoming they weren't brainwashed. Just an important piece of information i thought was useful to that "theory." Given that joker kept reminding bats about the whole jason todd story and this joker although bought on by joker disease plus fear toxin , this joker is a part of batman phsyke meaning that was quite possibly his subconscious coming out his instincts that he usually choses to ignore because part of them are to do with killing so he was used to ignoring the insanity and repressing that side which is why joker kept speaking to Bruce about jason because joker side of bars already knew the truth but regular bats thought the idea to insane to be true
@@Theshatteredweb amazing explanation
Wasn’t Black Mask killed in Arkham City? There’s a skeleton with his mask on in one of the display cases in The Penguin’s museum.
Also you can see wanted posters near the church suggesting he escaped
For the armor theory pretty sure Batman later on realizes it slowed him down says it in convo with Alfred "Sir have you thought about heavier armor?"
Batman:"I did slowed me down"
Oh yeah, when he get the zip line launcher in AC. Alfred mentions a bigger belt
Theory and just a cool easter egg that adds up with Theory #10:
When Batman pulls out the Arkham Knight from his tank after destroying the Cloudburst and begins punching him, he actually knocks off the Arkham Knight’s visor.
Jason’s thought process in that moment must’ve been “shit, he’s seen my face but he must think it’s just the fear toxin and not actually me”
It doesn’t show the AK’s mask or did Jason took it with him
Where does it show he was unmasked it just I don’t see it
@@rudycastillo8928 you see that the Arkham Knight’s body is physically pinned down and still on the ground when the Joker’s face appears after Batman’s last punch.
Then when Batman reacts to the effects of the hallucination and holds his forehead, that’s probably when Arkham Knight grabbed his visor and dipped
@@SolFundamentumwhich is strange considering if he really wanted him dead he would have killed Batman when he was trippin off da gas
For if the arkham Knight is who Batman secretly suspects him to be, then that means he has truly failed someone he considers family."
Taken from batman arkham universe the ultimate visual guide.
Even the fans knew he was Jason as soon as he calls him "old man" lol
😢😢
@@RacingSnails64 It was obvious as soon as Rocksteady first showed him off. It was meant to be obvious.

Theory 10 would also explain why batman suddenly saw Jason in the movie studios, its him telling himself that Jason is a possible candidate.
On theory 8, there's also some that theorize that Batman doesn't always bring the same gadgets/doesn't bring the gadgets because he really doesn't expect the very worst to happen. For example:
Asylum: He didn't need to bring a lot of gadgets because all he knew he was just escorting Joker, he did not expect a full blown prison break to occur and also he literally has a Batcave underneath the Asylum in case he needs some re-ups
City: It was an emergency drop of the Batsuit so he could only use what Alfred could deliver him
As for the batclaw boost theory, that's why it's called a prototype is likely because it's a prototype for the suit as keep in mind Origins is a lot bulkier than the City suit.
This actually makes a lot of sense
My new Canon. The ArkhamVerse B (The SSkTJL happens) and the REAL ArkhamVerse (Ended in Arkham Knight)
I actually have an entire video scripted out for this theory already, definitely plan on talking about it sometime soon

@@Knerd-YT Awesome sauce. Haven't played Suicide Squad, so should be fun to see.
Ok that final theory makes me appreciate knight's story a lot more, holy crap it makes so much sense!😮😮😮
Agreed! Insert Mind blown emoji here
According to the Arkham Universe Visual Guide, it could be canon in the story; considering the book actually states, that Batman might have been deliberately dismissing all the clues about the Arkham Knight's identity to the back of his mind, because if his hunch was correct it would be the ultimate reality check of how much he failed Jason being his adoptive son
For the Black Mask theory, one of his henchmen say that Roman knew he was coming so the fake-out is very much possible!
Yes, it matches his fearful nature and Red Hood reputation
*OFFICER BALLS WAS HYPNOTIZED BY DOCTOR STRANGE?!?!?!?! 😱*
Why is doctor strange not in marvel? Is he multiversal?
BWAHAHAHAH
Well from Shiva's audo files in Arkham Origins you can see that reopening Arkham Asylum was part of the Arkham City plan. The Riot was needed to prove the need to Arkham City. It would also explain how the Joker learned of Dr Young's Titan formula. So it is reasonable to assume that Hugo Strange prompted Joker to engineer his Riot.
I thought the gold emblem was to make enemies pay attention to the strongest point on his suit
AK's suit is completely covering his body: no face, no skin color, nothing. just a man in a similar suit as batman, except that he just showed up out of nowhere and knows everything about him. rest is just what you said
18:45 That's not Joker, that's the Jonkler.
Just my thoughts on those first two theories:
Theory #1: While he might not store the fear gas there, I do think the Golden Bat-symbol may have something to do with why it glows when in Nightmare mode.
I really loved the theory about the prestige suit. This is one of my favorite theories of the Arkham verse I've heard in a while. 😮👍
That Officer Boles theory works so well, though. Everything clicks.
Another thing about Bruce’s belt in Arkham city Alfred mentions a bigger belt and Bruce says he used to and it slowed him down.
27:30 has to be one of the greatest voice changes imaginable.
The fact after Batman got hit with fear toxin and started hallucinating about jason meaning his mind had already deduced Jason was the Arkham knight he just didn’t want to come to terms with it
Boles was definitely just telling him to stay quiet because he didn’t want Batman to catch on to the escape
My favorites were theory 6, 8 and 10
And Theory 4
The Joker audio logs in Arkham City could also add to theory #6. Joker knew that Strange was surveilling him, most likely that he even had guards on his payroll. So perhaps that's his main motivation for getting rid of Boles. I'm also curious about his eye, is it ever explained what happened to it?

Theory 7 is my favourite. The hand swap thing is the perfect evidence due to rocksteady being absolutely amazing with their detailing.
18:03 interesting fact: there’s a Batman comic- Batman: The Three Jokers.. semi ironic, too..?
Guys, I think it's obvious that anarky never shows up because, basically, the corrupted GCPD isn't there anymore
Ok so what about every other corrupt official plus a few stragglers still in the police force, hell you even lock up one of them for being a riddler informant
But the majority of the GCPD are good now
@@shmadow.. and the government officials?
For theory #8
According to the Arkham wiki, Origins batman looked so much more heavily armored because his armor was made almost entirely from kevlar.
Glad you enjoyed this one!
Bruce knew.Thats why Joker showed those visions of Jason to him, it was his subconscious
18:25 my idea is that they just wanted to have a few ways to pick up the story in arkham knight so they left this idea possible, but then saw how people reacted to joker's death and didn't want to undo it entirely
0:01 I’m pretty sure everyone already knew, that he knew
It’s just that he wanted to deny it cause he could never imagine his dead son would do everything we went through
Though it’s obvious signs it was someone close to Bruce. Considering he took a warning shot to Babs
It's always a good day when knerd uploads!🎉
For the theory #7. In arkham knight, when you start a new game+, the first scene change and joker wake up.
That scene isn't canon though. It was just done to mess with people, he's still very obviously dead.
The reason he had hallucinations about jason is probably because he suspecting jason to be the arkham knight
The prototype version we see in arkham city likely had the top speed limited to keep the g force from killing him.
another great vid! can't wait for the next bud
This video single handedly made Batman Arkham knight the best arkham game imo
Fr the theory about the Batmobile and the last one deserves a lot more attention in the fandom.
12:02 It is stated in the game that the joker saved boles before or did something for him, which is why boles was helping the clown
Love your videos so muchhhh😊👍
This was a really cool video! You earned my like and sub
The last one does make sense why else would his conscience think about Jason so randomly in the middle of panessa when his brain was plenty occupied
Theory 7 could actually be true, in the latest comic book for SSKTJL, in one of the cells, you can see
Clayface. So he DEFINITELY survived the explosion, most likely because he was mixed Lazarus.
Well in the Arkham books the gcpd and hush got samples of clay face
Hush used the clay to get rid of the scars
And the gcpd found out clay face was alive just that he can’t do anything
Basically a fate worse than death
I font know how i went down this rabbit hole of watching these Arkham theroy videos. Im definitely not complaining. This is a lot of fun, and it's genuinely making me rethink some things, lol.
Also Batman’s hallucinations showing him Jason is his brain probably telling him about the possibility that the Arkham knight is Jason
I have a theory that the joker cloning theory is true, because its possible that they DID get cloned and the clone is laying low OR its still sane but later on the clone becomes insane like the OG Joker

Something I like about the Arkham knight’s identity theory
Is that
You as a player would’ve guessed it was Jason thanks to the hallucinations about his death that Batman has
But by lore it makes sense
The more he has encounters with the Arkham knight
The more he thinks about it
He comes to the realisation that it is Jason Todd
And thanks to him not wanting to acknowledge it
It gets represented with his hallucinations and his head canon on why Jason is doing all that
It’s been 10 years and we still can’t stop talking about this franchise ❤
great video bro
I think part of the discrepancy between Origins and Asylum might be that he streamlined his style and approach to what was effective and economical. Not just that he didn't want to rely on his gadgets. Infact he might have gotten into a rut at the time. Where he wasn't challenged to the extent he was before.
This was a Very entertaining video. You should make one that’s an hour long. I’d watch the whole thing
Thats exactly the type of video I like to watch at 2 am
I have interesting photos from Batman Arkham City but I don't know where to send them to you
I believe the Project Cadmus easter egg in Arkham City and Killer Croc experiments in Arkham Knight were previews of Brainiac being the main villian in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. They had too many easter eggs for the Justice League in the games. They always gave hints to a greater threat in all the games and the looming greater mystery.
Great video. All were good theories.
My problem with the gold symbol/fear toxin is the bat symbol would lose a lot of its strength if it was howled out to make room to store the fear toxin and dispersal equipment
I hope the DLC in SSKTJL brings Batman back like the flash and rocksteady makes another Batman game
There’s also a new Arkham theory called Fnafarkham which is the theory that the Arkham games take place in the fnaf universe.
I read about it because I was bored and I wish it didn't exist if I'm being honest
How tho William Afton would have been caught since day 1 even if it was no way near Gotham, batman don't let anything slide
@@ReverseMunkifnaf has been shown a lot of times to take place in the middle of ameirca in normally Utah, Gotham considering it’s meant to be kinda like NYC is on the east coast, meaning the events of fnaf can still happen since it’s set in Utah and not Gotham, and why would he go all the way to Utah to stop just a child murderer especially given the fact that with how remote hurricane Utah is, there’s a low low chance Batman even knows about William, and even if he knows about the murders in hurricane at Freddy’s, it’s nothing big enough for him to go all the way to Utah
@@ReverseMunkialso the fnaf murders happen in the 80s and possibly 90s, and it’s never stated that Bruce is Batman during that time, so why would he suddenly hunt a killer who as far as the world would be concerned died in 1993, it would be a waste of his time
Another piece of evidence to add to "Theory" 5: In Arkham Knight, Jason's militia are not only specially trained, but they're specially trained against Batman, using insider knowledge Jason had from his time as Robin. And yet, they get terrified after a certain point, like every other enemy in the franchise EXCEPT Tyger Guards. Despite having more training than Tyger, the Militia still become fearful of Batman, becoming they weren't brainwashed. Just an important piece of information i thought was useful to that "theory." Which, like you said, is already canon, and doesn't necessarily need to be proven, but it's such good attention to detail on Rocksteady's part.
