Just goes to show how confidence makes a difference. Once James tightened up after his off I feared for him the whole way down. The clip with you following demonstrated how much harder it is to ride if you are tense. Hat off to both of you, for slightly different reasons. Brilliant day out, some weather.
Absolutely! My number one bit of advice for these days is to loosen up and the bike move around underneath you. Very hard to do right after you’ve had a crash.
True mountain biking right there, it looks almost unrideable on video so heavens knows what it’s like in real life. Riding Scotland is 100% on my to do list for 2021. Awesome video.
I was in kinlochmore last week but only did whw over to Glencoe and back, Was awesome but I'll wait till I have some company to venture further. Cracking vids fella.
Wow! Those views 😮 and that trail 🤩. Seriously impressive day and video, my favourite to date. Thanks for such great content. Stay safe and shred well 🤘
I like the chirp yeah give on the fast rough decent after your mates second off. I let out that sound many a time😁. The I got away with that chirp.. beautiful views, savage trails, and good riding again. Hope James will live ta ride another day.
Thanks for sharing! I dream of a mountain-bike adventure in Scotland. Have some amazing trails here in British Columbia but I feel the need to ride in the highlands.
@@McTrailRider My folks are both from Aberdeen so that may explain part of the curiosity with Scottish mountains. I haven't been back for a visit in 15yrs. Really appreciate your vids for a connection to my ancestry!
Frickin amazing.. the scenery is a treat, a real difference to the bush here in Australia.. I would probably walk my bike down most of it haha Keep em coming these are epic
You must have hands of steal. It would take me a week to get up there, let alone think about riding down. Love your vids, they are a bit different, and always interesting and often educational regarding the landscapes/landmarks. Your channel is one of the only ones my misses will watch because she enjoys the beauty of the places you ride. Keep it up mate, your channel deserves way more subs, they will come I’m sure with this type of content.
Very kind words Ken, much appreciated 😊 I don’t know if I’ll ever have a huge following on here as my videos are very niche, but I’m fine with that, I’d rather make content that I enjoy making and not the content that will appeal to the masses.
I mind cycling down that part of the WHW once, got a puncture, so for quickness put in my spare tube, then proceeded to puncture it again another nine times 😂 then to make things worse i had to cycle along the road back to Ballachulish, stopping every ten minutes to pump my tire back up again because there was so many holes in both the tubes 😂
Oh you were SO near the "Non-path"! We did it a couple of weeks ago and can confirm it's quality. There's a cairn just down the slope that marks it....
Doing what you do best. Making fairly unrideable descents look like they have flow! 🤙 That accident was scary. Shows how quickly and easily it can go wrong on a Scottish ⛰ Great riding and informative as usual 👍
