I watched this 4 times now as it’s inspiring to have on the 55” tv and I honestly don’t know how this is not a 1m+ views yet because this is the best video of possibly the most epic “trail” I’ve ever seen.
Some of those drone shots, around the 9-10 minute mark, with THAT backdrop up the top! 😍👌🏼😁 And I concur with others; one of the most stunning & enjoyable MTB videos I've ever seen!!! 👍🏼🤟🏼😉
Spineology is epic - lucky enough to ride it about 8 years ago and it is still up there in the top trails I've ever ridden (even with the huge hike to get into it from the side we did it from). Love that once you are off the ridge and only have exposure on 1 side you feel safe and start to push on then realise that you are still pretty screwed if you go off the side of the hill.
I did this ride with ChrisD in 2016 when I had my panther pink, yellow and green, with silver decals Nicolai Helius AM (2015) with Pinion P.12 gearbox...ChrisD was designing the Guide at the time. Your start at the top was covered in snow on our descent (early July)...happy days
@@McTrailRider I bought one of the last Guide's in Feb2020...just before lockdown. Ben came up to drop it off. He had a few Highlander's with him for a shoot with SingleTracks. I remember asking you about your CaneCreek setup... You seem to run it quite firm. I still have the bike... It's a superb design. Credit to ChrisD 💯🏆💯
Andrew, the content of your videos are breathtaking. This video had so much, but the drone footage alongside you gave us glimpse of the exposure and the holes just waiting for an errant pedal stroke. I’m never going to ride these epic trails, but thanks to your remarkable bike skills and camera skills I can. Thanks so much👍Brian

Incredible drone footage up top. That limestone makes some interesting features, I've never seen such high alpine potholes. And the white color stands out against the dark rock of the surrounding ridgelines when you get the bigger vistas from the drone. Really nice footage. Glad nobody had any mishaps -- it's easy to get psyched out by exposure, and when the views are distracting it's doubly easy. Well done by everyone!
That brought back some memories Andrew, did this 3 years ago and it's one those few days in the saddle I'll never forget. You did the sigh of relief I did when making it over some of those narrow bridges....bum twitchy. Great riding and some amazing footage.

I’m @ 11:25, you coming up to that top, holly cow, my heart drop. I’m also a MTB rider, I would give that trail a go myself. No doubt, there are a lot of sketchy turns with a cliff or a huge hole/drop.
Once you get going on the Trail, your focus is more on the Trail than it is on the drops at the side. Anyway, it’s kind of easier to ride it is to watch it.
Well, thats our objective for next summer sorted. While I'd love to get over to Scotland to tick off some of your many classic rides, this one is close (ish) to where I'm based. Thanks for the inspiration
