Funny, Andrew -- I was going to post a comment to whatever was your newest vid, asking if you'd had a chance to check out Ben's trail. So glad you did. Ben's video was excellent, made me wish I was there to help build, watch those top boys haul arse down it, and maybe try it myself. Just tripled my envy of you Scots with great terrain & good times.
Think I followed you and Ben on the same day a couple of years ago (under my real name of course), nice you see you both ride together. He's built a belter for sure. Fuckin love it.
love it! Riding with Cathro must be entertaining as well as educational. Gotta hit his trail if we ever get back to international travel🤞👍 Keep the good stuff coming..
Awesome video dude. Looks like you had an amazing time. Cathro is a legend, great to see you guys combine content. Looking forward to the street pideon vid too.
That's the best riding I've seen you do in ages! You can ride dude 🤘 I do like the historic tours of Bonny Scotland but...You can ride dude🤘 More of the same please 👌
Funny to hear you say you bugged out of the day the pros were there. We went the Sunday of that weekend and it was awesome, the pros to amateur ratio was definitely greater than 1. My boys loved seeing them all and riding the very same trail. My elder son even pulled off the double log jump, landed it and made the turn. What a track!
I am actually quite an introvert and don’t like big crowds, especially crowds well I am the least skilled😂 Your son done well to clear the double log jump, that one scared me.
McTrail Rider , his speed is frightening. Now your quick and I don’t think I could keep up but trying to follow Ben would make me look even more amateur 😂
@@McTrailRider oh ok so avoid the Ben Vrackie car park? Thanks for the reply much appreciated, I've just moved up here so riding alone, is it easy enough to find the trails just using trail forks?
Past the golf course... hmmm. Any chance you guys could give us some more detailed directions? I’ll be staying near Pitlochry in two weeks, I have a fairly good idea where it may be, since it crosses a fire road a couple of times.. Is it the fire road that zigzags through the woods between the golf course and the A9?
Anyone got info on the trail? Tried to have a look on trailforks but can’t see anything under ‘walk the talk’ has it been hidden / removed? Looks like an excellent run
What a great video mate. Loved it. Would love to ride this trail if possible? Where about in Pitlochry did you start?? Cheers and keep up the content 👍
You can ride it, yes. It’s not marked on Trailforks, but the ones next to it are. It is recommended that you park in town and cycle up, it’s above the golf course.
I like that you waited till his video about the not a race was up to post yours. Crazy to think that 6 days after his not a race he was in the hospital with a broken neck (20/7/2020). Where does that put your rides with him in relation to all this?
@@McTrailRider hey I found your video on Trailforks. I had been looking for forever for his trail and finally found it today. I'm from Utah (about 3 hours from Moab), I had to start from scratch based on signs I saw in the background in the Privateer. Your video was key to confirming the trail. Plus a really awesome look at the trail from a "normal" rider and really fun to see that Cathro isn't just a big ol celebrity but a really chill guy in real life.
@@Giftig--Daniel-P good work on your research 👍 Ben is super chill and really approachable too. Not many of the big riders are like that unfortunately.

Thanks for taking the time to show us around Ben, much appreciated 👍

A belter for sure
11:26 - that’s some fair commitment, and a huck to flat if I ever saw one!! Such an awesome track. Dunno about that random guide you found though...
I trusted my random guide fully, but I still went a little too deep 😜
Great vid. It just shows you how many different levels of skill there are. Cathro is a savage. Looks awesome there.
100% correct.

So how is it that you're not running a fullface but the camera moves around when your looking somewhere?
It’s actually a convertible helmet, so it’s a full face when I’m descending👍
Where about in Scotland did you grow up ?
I grew up in mid Argyll but I was born in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
