    Man this has been my life for the last 6 months. Im 23 and it all started with chest pain, than shortness of breath. One night I'm driving home from class at 11:30pm and bam, I'm having a heart attack. Called an ambulance went to hospital. Was told I was having a Panic attack. I haven't been right since. Went from working out 4 to 5 days a week to out of breath walking up stairs. I've been to the ER 4 times, had two echos, stress test, CT Angio with contrast, CT of my head, spirometry test and 5 or 6 EKG's. Every test comes back clean and I still feel like I'm dying or in a constant panic attack all day everyday. I have so much more respect for the power of stress now. It can become debilitating, especially when combined with health anxiety. It's a constant nonsensical struggle convincing yourself you don't have a crazy illnesses. I think what set me off was night classes 3 days a week, a full time internship and lack of sleep. It's catches up to you.

    My God if there's a story to mirror my experience of anxiety it's yours mate. I literally laughed when you was talking about having the panic attack after a Redbull mine was the same exactly. In a beer garden with friends about to light up a cigarette after hammering several vodka Redbulls and bang, my heart was pounding and I felt like I wasn't there in that moment and I would keel over any minute. I ran away got a taxi home and the driver could see I was distressed and gave me... yep you guessed it a Redbull which i drunk making the night a whole lot worse. I even did the same thing walking, breezing even into the hospital and up to the front desk and saying "Yeah I think I'm having a heart attack" only to be rushed through for an EKG at the ripe age of 23. I can laugh when I look back now as I'm sure you can but at the time it was scary as hell. Love your videos, keep up the good work, best wishes from England p.s. the demon part left me in stiches (8:23) I think the best thing to do sometimes is to laugh at what you were thinking I know I do sometimes again thanks for this vid hugely helpful,

    OMGosh both of my sons have this and I'm going to share this because I keep telling them to see someone and get something for it. I take Celexa because if I didn't I would have permanent panic and anxiety. The celexa helps me more than I can say! I HAVE to take something or I couldn't live. I tried to stop taking anything but got back on the Celexa because I couldn't take it. Even when I knew I wasn't dying, it didn't help the panic to go away. Some people NEED to take something.

    @nathandennis873 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Also about the video I hope my comment didn't make light of it. I can relate strongly to the feelings of depression, suicide and de masculinity you suffered. It's a tough battle few understand. It's only those few who have it that don't think you sound crazy when your running your mouth at a hundred miles an hour rattling off scary thoughts you're having and symptoms. Five years later I still have it, the key I believe is a better understanding each anxiety sufferer gets. If only the medical profession had the same insight people like us sufferers have they would realise they aren't in fact dying or going crazy and that the only real understanding is knowledge and letting time pass

    • @Diggler056
      @Diggler056  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan Dennis Your comment didn't make light of it at all, you have to find the humor and learn to laugh at it (anxiety) to get past it. I have this thing licked for the most part....strongly due to my ability to laugh at my own irrational thoughts. My mind comes up with some real scarey shit sometimes and I "must" think how absurd they are to keep calm. I really appreciate your comments...it helps others recognize that they are not so alone plus it helps motivate me knowing people are getting something from these videos!!

    • @nathandennis873
      @nathandennis873 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Diggler056 Thanks for replying mate just so I know the comment was taken correctly. I'm the same mate sometimes I have really bad days where from the minute I wake up, bang my heart is racing all day and I'm trembling like I'm 90 years old and you have some crazy irrational thoughts, I think some times it's about keeping a schedule and keeping yourself busy like I generally work a lot and go the the gym most days same as yourself and that tends to alleviate it somewhat. Like you say though it's a case of not worrying about it hard as that is and hopefully these types of videos reassure people they are DEFINITELY not alone in the struggle, you just have to go through the jungle to find the light on the other side :).

    the classic '' just go home and try to relax''. like, oh thank you!!!!! all my problems just disappered!! i have heard doctors say this to me like a million times and every time it pisses me off, even though i know they don't say it to make you feel crazy, but because they don't know what else to say.

    I went to doctor many many times, but still didn’t believe them. The. Over the last two years I became afraid to go to doctor because I got a high BP reading one time that now every time I go I get white coat. Syndrom. So I’ve told my self I’ve had high BP and sugar issues. And if anyone talks about deaths or bad stuff or talk to anyone hat has high Bp then o have it to? I am on verge of loosing my BF but he sticks with me. I moved from New York to Cali three years ago by myself and no money. Lots of worries, but back in New York it started. Wow all of your symptoms I’ve had, I don’t want to loose hm
