    Guys thanks for the insight for more accessories available for this ultimate machine. IJust got back from riding the Rallye pack GS on & off road around the Spanish mountains, clocked up 400 miles with the Toro Adventure. The GS is just a awesome bit of engineering setting the bench mark in the industry. I did miss the heated seat as I have it on my own GS TE I bought in May 21' & clocked up 4k miles. I still can't get my head around after for the first time taking the GS off road & it just munching up rocks/gravel/puddles in Enduro mode, then switching to Dynamic it behaves so fantastically around the twisties! I have the Pearl white TE but I do equally like the Rallye colours. Going to the bike show tomorrow so if you are considering a 21' spec GS the price should come down a little after the 22' model is revealed! Guys thanks for the vid again, take a look how I got on with the on/off roading in Spain, I just posted a vid although just started TH-cam'ing so hopefully will get better lol...

    Every one I meet with the new gs ask me how my multisrada is going, especially when they see how dirty it is. Most of the lads I've talked to appear to have had their bikes less than the place they bought them from, engine problems being the main problem. The multisrada hasn't missed a beat, wether light off road ,touring or riding pretty hard on the road. The only issue I did have was the pointless exhaust valve sticking, did away with it and add no problem since.

    Thanks.How do you check if you need handle bar risers.

    • @thewoodster8607
      @thewoodster8607 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It normally presents as a problem involving shoulder or wrist pain. and/or if you feel that your upper body is tipped forward when sitting on the bike and you feel overreached for the controls. Another thing to check it that you're not riding with straight arms. You should have a bend in your arms so you can apply leverage to the bars. If you have a GS try adjusting the handlebars first as they offer some adjustment. I had 40mm risers on my 2017 GS but have not put them on my 2021 GS yet. I want to wait and see what affect a long ride will have.

  • @AMPJ08
    @AMPJ08 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi nice video and the explanation on how these lights work still a bit concerned the system would fail should one do more off-road but is good to have a view on how it works. Would have been nice to see how you ride on snow and those road conditions you had do you think tires for off-road would be better? Or M+S tires like the Anakee adventure or Mutant? With lower pressures? Yes / no? Etc.

    • @RacingandAdventure
      @RacingandAdventure  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Yes, I think that M+S tires would be a bit better, but not good enough. On two wheels it's next to impossible to ride in snow. You need to put some studs if you really want to do it.

      Hello. Having this Akrapovic on, I couldn't say. It sounds good, however. I am sure that it's not as loud as my old euro3 R1200GS, but cannot say anything about this one vs euro4 in terms of sound. I'd consider the GSA, since it's more comfortable and better for touring. The basic GS, however is more agile everywhere.

    Just wondering, what about the old channel? Are you going to run both channels? What's the reason behind the change?

      We're no longer a part of the old channel and don't know what will happen with that one. Although tried to negociate with drivemag owner, we couldn't find a way to continue that project. So we started this one, on our own. Thanks for joining us.

      @@RacingandAdventure Thanks for the answer. Now it's clear to me, I'll unsubscribe from the old channel and stay with you on the new one. :-) You're doing an amazing job, guys. Although I'm a BMW fan, I love watching everything you put on YT. Wish you good luck and a lot of subscribers ... and money from the channel :-)

    So, is there anything you didn't like about the GS, apart from the price?

      No. Really. No. As another guy said before, maybe some backlit switches were good, but it's not such a big thing.

    all goodies are great, but doesn't it come already with factory radiator protection? My 2019 F850GSA Rallye does, and putting and extra after market one is really not necessary, plus it reduces air flow more....

    • @RacingandAdventure
      @RacingandAdventure  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as we know, only the rally versions are fitted with radiator protectors in standard. This one, for example, didn't have any.

    Please suggest what is your choice
    Tiger 900 rally pro or gs 1250 (2021)
    For usage like 70% road & 30% off road.
    Thanks

      Thank you very much for joining as and for the kind words. I'm 174 cm and managed to see right above the windscreen on the low position, with the comfort seat on. Cristian
