I have a gsa and fitted the wunderlich marathon screen. Zero wind, visor up riding at any speed but its tooooo hot. Zero airflow through the helmet vents. Think long and hard about what you want most.
Hahah yes. I like this Puig screen. My buddy had one like the wunderlich and like you said, zero wind. I was burning up behind it. This one still allows a pretty good airflow so I’m happy for now.
I bought the Puig touring screen for my 1250 GSA. I'm 5'11" and look over the top of it while it's in the highest position, so it doesn't obstruct vision when it's dirty. I kept the original screen and cut it down into the shape of a rallye screen for off road rides. The Puig screen bumps into the chin of my helmet when I'm going over bumpy/technical terrain in the dirt. Great video!
Thanks for the kind words. This is great info! I was really worried about the sightline of the screen. I didn’t want it to end center with my sightline. Im not much of an off-road guy, but Ill keep both screens just in case ;)
Hey Austin, Ricardo here! Hope you are doing well since the last time we spoke! Thank you for the shoutout, that was so cool 🙌🏻 and the GS is almost here! In a couple of weeks I’ll reach out to you and talk about that ride! It’s almost time for the sisters to meet so until then have lots of nice rides and always stay safe out there! 👊🏻✊🏻🏍️💨
Hey man, I thought you might like that! Same to you my friend. Yes I am always keen for a good ride. I know how your feeling waiting for the GS. It’s almost here. Be safe and we will ride soon!
Hi Austin …… you say that your Denali lights are upside down fog/spots ……. Just wondering if you knew that your lenses are removable & could turn them 180° and have your fogs on the bottom
These are the Battlax tires by Bridgestone. I really like them. Middle of the road as far as price and ranked very high in customer approval. They really make me feel planted. The road 6 tires are said to be great, but they are expensive. Road tires only. If you want a solid 80-20 on road off road tire I have also used the TKC80’s and they are really awesome.
Excellent video and tips. We needed your video ... Perfect!!! BTW I noticed you use the Revit Sand3 Jacket and I'm thinking of getting Version 4( Revit 4 H2O jacket/pants). Do you like the set by Revit? Love your video.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I love putting out these videos. The sand 3 is an epic jacket. I would recommend it 100%. Now the Sand 4 is on sale in many online stores also. You wont regret it.
@@AmericanAbroad1 Just keep doing what you are doing and future rides when you go. We find these interesting, doing an upgrade and showing off the upgrade I personally love that type of content. You have great content, keep it going!
I wish BMW felt the same way lol. Although you are getting great tech and features for that 20K. If you ever ride a GS you will feel it. But, part of the fun of any bike is kitting it out and customizing.

You can attach your phone to the existing gps mount using an adaptor. Either a cheap Amazon one or expensive Bmw one. Both allow charging.

Hi there,
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I did know that. I just never felt it would make much of a difference
Which tires r those? Need long last 90%road tire, any suggestion!

The head light protector is linked to “Abikething” but not the ????? Express you mentioned in the video. Please confirm site to purchase.
Ali express… it’s just to ride me over. I just preordered the one from abikething.

I hear people have had issues with the quad lock destroying the iPhone camera- even with the vibration dampener.
So far I haven’t had issues, but I use it as little as I can with that in mind
Good luck. 👍
No quad lock, tack form.
What’s tack form?
Just looked it up. Interesting solution. Do you like it?
You're so cool!
