Dammit, that is absolutely beautiful. I can’t believe how many colors you will put on one subject alone and the basing right at the beginning with the markers I think that’s what makes your colors so bold and beautiful.❤❤❤❤

You use so many colors and I think it won't work, that it will look tacky, but the ending is wonderful! ❤❤❤

So pretty. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡. How do you sharpen your Albrecht Durer pencils as they are larger than prismacolors right?

      Thank you so much 🤗💗
Ah yes, I struggled so much when I first go them....I use the Dahle 133 until they are too small to fit and then when they are tiny I use the small silver KUM sharpeners (the Germany brand). I manage to use them till past the little silver band at the end of the pencil 🤗💗

I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I was just wondering why you use the watercolour pencils if you don’t activate them? Why not just use regular pencils?

Hi! Not at all a silly question - my very first pencils were a budget brand (WHSmith in UK), and my very next set was a small set of Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer which I bought for using as watercolour pencils (so wet). However, I found that they worked brilliant as a dry pencil too - I bout 3 Polychromos pencils as stock pencils to see the different between the regular pencil and watercolour pencil, and I was happy with how my watercolour pencils were working dry (compared to the regular pencils) - so I didn't find the need to also get regular pencils.....
So I find my watercolour pencils are very versatile and don't always find the need to activate them 🤗 which is awesome!
I hope this makes sense? 💗

@@shelscolouringjourney wow 🤩 that’s so cool 😎. I’m going to try and just do a small picture using only watercolour pencils (dry). I have inktense pencils as well so I might just incorporate them as well. You’ve inspired me to get back into colouring.
I’ve had a massive BLOCK since everything in the world 🌎 turned upside down. I live in Australia 🇦🇺 in Dec 2019 we had extremely bad bushfires 🔥☄️🚒 which destroyed my little town. Then March 2020 we had severe floods 🌊, so bad that I had leaks in my roof for 6 months, then covid hit 🦠😷🧫and well you know the rest.
My mother had a heart ❤️ attack 💔and I couldn’t be with her due to all the hospital 🏥 restrictions. I also forgot to mention I was going through all this whilst trying to sell 🪧my house 🏡 and move down the coast to be closer to my elderly father 👴🏻. The week before we were due to move my son 👱🏼‍♂️went on a end of soccer ⚽️ trip, 🚙 he had an accident on a quad bike 🏍 and rolled it, he flew over the handlebars and smashed his head & face on rocks. He needed major facial surgery and was lucky to be alive. He was in hospital 🏥 for a week and so lucky 🍀 to ge alive. We moved house. All my art stuff is still in boxes 📦 and I just fill that I haven’t had any interest in wanting to colour anymore. So thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing your video and helping people like myself get back to finding some calm 🌅 within the storm ⛈🌪🌨☔️.

I am so glad that I have helped in a tiny way....if I have inspired you to get back into colouring I hope it helps you escape the storm that you have been through.
I am so sorry and sad to hear that you have had such a rough couple of years and been through so so much. Here is hoping and praying that your storm is ending and that you find some peace again. I know in such tough times it must be so hard to even think of doing something like colouring, but I hope you find your passion for it again and you start to get some healing and escape with this beautiful hobby. Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully hearing things are starting to look better for you again 🤗💗
