    Good video! That's the way we used to make vertical videos on our Pocket 2. 1 problem is limitations of moves in OP3 when you record this way, but still a pretty nice trick.

    Thank you for this. Is was revealing. Generally, I hate vertical video. Usually done by truly uneducated folks, moving the camera all over. This comment does not apply in real battle scenarios. But, horizontal might improve things .

    Thank you for this! How would you set it up on a tripod this way?

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're welcome! Most tripods offer the ability to rotate the camera 90 degrees. While I haven't personally tried it with a tripod, it should definitely work. Thanks for watching!

    How well does the gyro stabilization work when turned sideways?

      Hello! I didn't notice a performance difference from the gimbal. Everything was still smooth.

    Do you just turn it or do you have to enable some mode. I remember mine not working properly when I tried to do this. It tried to rotate the head. Thanks for your videos. Very practical stuff that very few cover.

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I turn it quickly. I haven't had any issues yet. However, I mostly film in the 16x9 aspect ratio. Thank you for checking out my video and channel!

    Thanks for the video! Quick question, I saw that you put a disclaimer that DJI does not recommend shooting like this, is there a reason? Can the camera malfunction or be left useless if shot like that? Or you just put it because DJI does no recommend that way of using it? I’m a little paranoid when I see disclaimers but loved that way of shooting. Thanks again.

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello Rafael! Thank you for checking out my video. I put this disclaimer on the video because I couldn't find anything where DJI recommends filming vertical video this way. They recommend you film your vertical videos in the 3K format. I have not had any issues using the technique I discuss in my video. However, I do most of my primary filming in the standard 16x9 format.

      This was the recommended way to get vertical video on the pocket 2 which I hated. As you would need to mount it sideways. I’m glad the pocket 3 has both options now even though one way is 3k
