    If you’re shooting 60fps, there’s no need for an ND at all. I usually prefer to make the pocket 3 simple so I go mostly auto. If I want cinematic, I have a bigger mirrorless and a cinema rig

      I own the Xeen 50mm cine, primarily used for interviews. I've paired my gimbal with Leica R lenses before, though manual focus is challenging on a gimbal. While I often use the 15-35 on my gimbal, it doesn't offer unique characteristics compared to cine lenses. It's a very clean image. Hi! I just recently bought this camera but i'm not sure if i should shoot my videos vertically or horizontally for Instagram reels and posts..what do you suggest? thank you in advance😊

      Hello! I mainly use my camera for TH-cam, so I film horizontally. You can crop these for social media. If you're mostly on Instagram, filming vertically saves time. Ultimately, it depends on your platform you are planning on using. Thank you for checking out my video!

      You're welcome! Most tripods offer the ability to rotate the camera 90 degrees. While I haven't personally tried it with a tripod, it should definitely work. Thanks for watching!

    Nice shots! Kinda off topic but Pocket 3 related... I took it out on a ride the other day mountain on my bike and the footage was crazy (in a bad way lol). When you did your cycling video, were you holding the pocket 3? The gimbal did not like the ride haha.

    • @Cole-Bielecki

      Thank you, Mikee! It's a juggling act! I normally just hold the osmo pocket in my hands while cycling. When I tried attaching it to my bike, the footage was pretty shaky. I want to find a shock-absorbing mount for cycling! I think it would help a lot!

    Cool video. But one thing to note. While DJI markets this as a 1” sensor. It actually is nowhere near a full 1”. I own it and really like it. I just hate that they misrepresented itself and now all TH-camrs are repeating the 1” false advertising. Enjoyed the video.

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the clarification, Andrew! I'm really impressed with the images coming off the sensor. Whatever the sensor size is, DJI did something right! Lol Thank you for watching my video!

      “When reading about the Pocket 3 at first, I thought: "Wow, a sensor with a 1-inch diagonal? How can they even fit it in this small device?". Now I know: by not having a 1-inch sensor diagonal. So why is it called a "1-inch sensor"? Because it is a measurement from the past millennia. Back then, they measured the outer diameter of a video camera tube. And the size of the photosensitive area was smaller than that ("1-inch sensor"). So nothing you would expect if you are a hobby user of this or were not born back then. To compare what you would expect and what you got: • If the diagonal was 1 inch, then the sensor would have a size of roughly 21.4mm x 14.2mm (1 inch diagonal). • The current Pocket 3 "1 inch sensor" has dimensions of around 13.2mm x 8.8mm and thus a diagonal of 15.8mm (0.62 inch diagonal). So this is, area-wise (!), only around 1/3 of what you would expect. I do not want to argue if this matters, as the DJI Pocket 3 is a very good device. I only want to make people aware of this "marketing trick" that is used by DJI and many, many other companies. PS: Interestingly enough, DJI at first marketed the sensor as having a 1-inch diameter (2nd image in the gallery) and then corrected it a few days later (3rd image). So even they got confused by this.”
