I would agree with that thesis. As a b-roll camera the dji osmo pocket 3 is much better
It is a huge dilemma for me which to buy but finally there is a deal breaker for the zv-e10. No 4k 60fps…that is huge for me. I love sony cameras though…
@@BusyFamilyFitness TBH most people can't tell the difference between 4k60 and 4k24 as I own the FX30 an shoot in Both but when using Adobe it can't do HVEC so I just shoot in 4k24 with H.264
@@BlackapinoTheTechGuy very true, depending on the type of content. I record (relatively) fast movement and with 24/30fps it is very hard to see (fitness content) the movement properly. It is one type of content where you don’t really want to go cinematic I guess. It is very visible and I actually had to re-record my first video because it looked terrible😅 but I agree that most viewers wouldn’t see the difference in a normal scenario (where I would not use 60 fps). Also not having 60fps takes away the ability to slow down footage if you want to.
I just got this camera and I have replaced my canon R7 with this for vlogging. I shot my entire Turks & Caicos vlog with this and the footage is amazing!!! Feels so good not to have to take so much equipment around
completely agree the r7 is wayy too much for vlogging. great camera otherwise though.

Hi, I need your help, I'm looking for a good camera for a beginner with decent video quality, that it should be fast is important to me, but the most important thing to me is the photos. I need a camera that will give me good quality photos that will look like a professional. what do you recommend me? I was thinking of buying the R50 Canon's is good, do you think there is a better one?
You should check out sony a7iv. Its a good hybrid cam. If the price is too much you could check out the crop sensor cameras like the a6000 series or fujifilm cameras.

I was wondering the same. They put the dji osmo pocket 3 out in november last year so maybe. But i cannot really think what they might add. More likely they will do a "pro" version. But I have no clue i am just guessing here with you
watched this video again, it's fantastic. The biggest downside for me is that I bought the OP3 so that I don't have to use my phone but really to get the best out of it is terms of a user experience you still need your phone.

the fix lens is a no brainer for prime shooters zoom with your feet, I saw this camera, looks overpriced to me the insta 360 is probably something i'll use over this one. If the price is right I don't mind getting one for the road.
Does the gimbal track vehicles? I am afriad also on the suction mounts falling off the car. which do you recommend to purchase?
generally a quality suction mount should not fall off. there is something called the mox max blade . its 129$ buts its top notch. and it will track vehicles

Great review....however I'm so torn right now. I'm looking for a camera that I can take to record basketball games. It doesn't need tracking but does need the ability to tripod mount and stream live. can't decided between the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or the Canon Powershot G7X III any recommendations in this space?
I think the dji is a much better choice. but I think i would recommend a normal camera with a atmos ninja phone module and use that to live stream over mobile or wifi.
Remember that it would only give you a wide shot, so individual players would be hard to identify.

I wana get this camera to record my dj sets in my studio , would this be able to pick up the sound from my professional audio monitors accurately ?or is there a way to have a direct audio going into the dji?
It doesn’t actually have a 1x1 inch sensor, it’s smaller than that. 1 inch sensor is just a historical marketing term.
I am aware. But imagine unpacking that can of worms in the middle of a dji video. I don't think Type 1 ensor is a term that has caught on yet

Yay! The first person who actually likes the supplied case! I have to say the fluorescent greens in your video are a bit over the top but that's not the camera but rather your grading. Well, each to his own. One of my favorite features is that it has a four channel audio recorder built in, which few other cameras have. Anyway, great summary and your enthusiasm should add to their already huge sales!
The color are all in camera colors. it might be because i was standing around alot of reflective buildings in direct sunlight

Glad you liked the video. I think the action 4 is like a rugged action camera. I have one so i speak from experience. And it great as an crash cam but the dji osmo pocket 3 look 10X better. Even the colors are way better. If you dont need an action came the op3 is better ut if you plan to do alot of sports the action 4 is better.
Also the lenses on the two camera are very different. The op3 look more like a normal camera where the action 4 has the super wide fish eye look even with lens correction.
I think these cameras are convenient but also discreet. Traditional cameras stand out too much and you’ll get too much attention in public. This makes it look more subtle while still giving great results. I would feel more comfortable shooting videos in public with the Osmo than my FX6, RV and even my iPhone.
Edit: I just saw the part where you mentioned it looked like a toy. I personally think this is one of its strengths.
Could be a good camera for home family videos but also serious stuff too

I think the panorama mode is interesting and worth the time but as a single shoot camera i would not recommend it. I should have probbsly taked about this in the video. hope this helped. fgeel free to ask me anything else. - River

tbh just a random one one amazon that looked good. i purposely did not mentio the name because i have no idea if it was well built/ durable and I can't recommend things i have not tested. My best bet would be to just check on amazon
I've been debating between the Gopro hero 12 and this camera for traveling and taking underwater videos. Which one would be better?
I think better for travelling the gopro is a dedicated action camera aka a crash cam. You oly need a go pro if you pkan on doing things where other cameras would break like underwater.

It hasnt broken on me yet. But its not water or dust resistant. But dji does sell a recovery/ insurance policy

Great video! I have a ZV-E10 and am thinking of getting the DJI to complement my Sony camera when I travel. The DJI is compact enough for filming and vlogging on the go but I also love to shoot landscape photos or zoom in on interesting subjects within the landscape. :)

I make vertical content for IG reels. I use my Galaxy S22 right now. Should I upgrade to this camera for mostly vertical video? Anyone got any thoughts?
this is an amazing vertical camera! youll be able to walk around and let the camera follow you. Not sure what kind of content you make but being able to have more movement and dynamic shots in your reels is going to be a huge upgrade and will look so much better in comparison to most people who have a static camera or they just hold it. It will make your shots way more interesting. the audio will be top notch. and you can basically give the camera to anyone to film you.

I have only played pickle ball a few times. I think it would be good because it can track the players as they move automatically and it will be about as wide as the dji action . I think the dji would be better in my opinion

For me, the HUGE drawback of this device, which is a real headache, is that you always need an accessory to put the device on a flat surface. If you put it on a table to record yourself, it will fall and break at the first draught. It's too light and not stable enough.

works great all the time! the only thing you will have issues with is up and down bumps but thats the case with any gimbal. I should have done a high speed test in this video
The camera optics are afraid of vibration, so the bicycle must be equipped with a vibration damper. An example is on my channel

Easiest way to do it to plug the camera into your laptop via a USB -c cable. You will see a menu pop up onthe camera and pick the first option for a "mass storage device". And you will the camera pop up as a drive/ folder on your macbook desktop. Go into it and all your files will be there. And then drag the files from the laptop to your computer. I also have a tutorial I will be putting out shortly for this camera

I have not had a chance to try it out . it looks like good image quality but it’s an action cam and doesn’t look great in comparison to a regular camera. I think the dji osmo action looks a lot better. Osmo pocket by itself is about the same price as the ace pro

yup its a one by one sensor. so you can either shoot in 16:9 horizontal or vertical 9:16.

Not direct from the camera. The video has been color graded to the preference of the creator.
really? tell me more. I feel like the gfrass shot did not look great because i was in direct sunlight and i think grass in fancy areas liek that also gets sprayed to look shiny. but i think for the most parts the color look natural and well saturated. def doesnt look like real life, but in a good way

I'm so emotional from the all caps.
I'm too emotional to suggest that you forgot about about the 3 axis gimbal / motion timelapse and 4/120 plus low light mode....plus the 360 spin shot. plus the subject tracking that actually movoes your camera....and the on touch panorama capabilities.
And the dji osmo pocket 3 is 519$ and the cheapest 15pro max is 1119$. You could buy two dji osmo pocket 3s. And if you bought the most expensive 1tb iphone you still would not have a wireless microphone. Where as the dji pocket osmo 3 would and it would still be cheaper at 864 vs the 1600$ on the iphone 15 pro max .
And using a phone all day as a camera will evaporate your battery life and anyone who has used their iphone for anything more than a casual camera knows it is a PAIN!
