- This is my beginner's guide for the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and is geared to those who are brand new to the pocket series and have never used one before. This beginner's tutorial and guide will help you get familiarized with the hardware and how the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 functions. We cover topics such as charging, memory, activating, and updating firmware. We also look at basic functionality such as recording and switching back and forth between verticle and horizontal video.

This was a very well thought out and presented video on the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3. You mentioned the Creators Pack included the DJI Mic, but it's important for new users to know it's actually Mice 2, or the next generation of the product. One thing that I found disappointing is that the hard case does not fit inside the pack included with the creator kit. While the case protects the components, if you store the wide view lens in the hard case in the space provided, then you must move it to the compact case if you don't plan to take the hard case with you. It's a minor inconvenience, but it would have been simple enough just to make the case slightly larger so that everything fits into that case.

Great video and would like anyone to know, I struggle with this type of tool. I watched it 3 times playing with mine stopping and starting and feel confident I can use this in the field after practice. Where is the next tutorial?
Awesome tutorial, thanks for herlping me set it up for the first time, Simple, easy to follow and all the bits I was looking for. My only suggestion would be how to change the language setting, as when I got mine, it was not set to English,, but a quick google sorted that,, however, great video, thank you.

Hi, good video. One irritating thing is those massive onscreen messages that block the screen and don't go away and blocl your view. Eg 'activetrack activated'. How do you switch them off? Thx

Can i ask you 2 questions -
1). Can you still record using the OP3 while charging ?
2). Can you charge the OP3 using battery bank ? and can you still record using the OP3:while charging using a power bank ?

The answer is yes to both you can plug it in while charging, and it can be charged with the power bank with no issues at all

Will the camera orientation change say I have it upside down handle pointing upward
So holding standard but if I flip it upside down and start recording in either vertical or horizontal to still record in upside down but the camera orientation looks like if normal when upright

Say your in landscape mode recording then you flip screen to vertical while still recording will it continue to record after clicking continue and then switch back to landscape mode.

Excellent tutorial and the only basic thing I had to research was do I really need to purchase an sd card?
But it appears not so, I can transfer directly from camera to computer
Got that wrong further research advises the sd card is the only thing available to store footage.
Not all tutorials mention that you have to purchase an sd card
Can you mount this like a action mount
Is the SanDisk Extreme Pro good for the pocket 3 I have it. my footage in 4k 30 freezes or am I doing something wrong?
