I'm 5-5 and 175 and a few weekend a year trail rider. I just picked one up for me. It felt a more comfortable ride than the mxz , full sized sport as i was not straddling the seat and the bars had a nice grip and feel and my shoulders were not so fast apart. Basically, a better fit and feel for me, at a price i can justify for and my riding habits. Usially I'm not about 55 the trails anyways, so this fits the bill. It's not just a kid sled
That's a great point. This sled isn't just for kids, its great for adults too. Sorry the title was misleading I just had to pick something to emphasize! Cheers, Jesse
Thanks for doing this with us Dave! It was a pleasure to get your wealth of info to show our viewers exactly what these Neo sleds are all about. Haha I definitely did some editing but you always look good :) Cheers, Jesse
Hey,, old sledder here,, i ride a 2007 gsx 550 fan mostly on our 90 acres. Was looking to buy this as its on sale but not sure now.Im 5 10 and 200 lbs. Wondering about the 34" ski width as compared to 48" on my gsx. Any help would be great!
Your GSX shouldn't be 48".. It should be around 42. This is likely not the right sled for you. Its mean't for kids and smaller adult riders. It's also a mountain sled and your gsx is a touring sled. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Jesse
I was planning to spring order one of these in March 2023 for my daughter for her first year riding (off our property). I honestly think it’s the perfect sled for kids, smaller people, or just something to bomb around the acreage with. Not buying it now though - buying my Dad’s 600ace as he doesn’t use it much (has a bigger sled) and getting family pricing 😀
I am an oid fart with 6 Taliban! (terriorist, grand kids). I would want a hitch (and bumper) to tow a boggan, and a 2-up seat (can it carry 6?) and likely, tunnel protectors (for igrips), and a windshield (for all day 60kmph max OFSC trails). I assume that I can get heavier springs, in the parts bin. What $$ am I up to now?? I wish on Spring Order, that you could order 'custom' especially when some items are in short supply. I would order different colours, skies, etc., if ordering for multiple kids. My son, paid !!1/2!! on his 1st sled. It still is used.
How many horse ponies do you really need , i remember when 600cc was plenty of sled 20 years ago when i last rode a sled. Kind of considering one really what disadvantages is there on this machine if anything i would be a once a year rider at most not interested in trailering all over hells half creations
Then that would work perfect for you! I can't relate as we love to ride and have realized that without trailering we would hardly be riding, and so we end up trailering. Cheers, Jesse
@@kevincreech7345 not really. They are smaller sleds meant for smaller riders and kids getting into the sport. We weigh about the same and it was a tight fit for me.. cheers, Jesse
600cc sleds could produce 900-110 hp 20 years ago. The Neo is rated at 55hp that seems really low. I think these sleds are a great idea but I would like to see some higher hp numbers or an option to buy or reprogram the ecm to unlock more ponies. it doesnt need 150+hp like the other $20k mountain sleds but 55 seems kinda weak. It might be perfect for kids but I imagine as they become more skilled they would want more power. I would buy on as a beginner in his 30's. I'm already riding older sleds with twice that hp.
As a smaller guy that needs a narrow nimble deep snow machine for the sugarbush the neo looks perfect
Exactly!

Dave is a great resource! Very nice sleds!
He is incredible!
Picking up a 24 neo plus this weekend for my kid! Pretty stoked to see it in action this winter. See if it can beat my turbo in a hill climb? 🤣🤣
Right on! Definitely a cool sled but not sure about a hill climb! Lol Cheers, Mike
Good Times Guys!!! You made me look good so you guys know what your doing cause that is hard!!

Hey John! Your best bet is to ask a dealer to spec the sled out for you exactly as you want. Cheers, Jesse

Unfortunately we don't have a neo+ mxz to do a video on. Cheers, Jesse
