Village 2023 - Wintery Countryside

Very unhappy about the low resolution of this video! Says it uploaded in HD but the quality is pretty low... any suggestions?

Thank you for this video. What colors did you use on the pond? I've seen you do one before but I've seen so many I can't remember. I've never worked with plaster but I need to learn. I am so loving your village so far. All of your villages are top notch. I may have to go back and search your other videos because they are one of the best and so informative. Again, thanks so much for showing us your village.

Thank you Sharon!! I haven't painted the pond yet, so stay tuned. The next video will go into detail. I use a mixture of colours, deeper blue towards the centre and a tingle of green towards the edges. Then I dry-brush it with white to make it look less summery. Plaster cloth is not too hard to work with, just really messy. Be sure to smooth it out thoroughly with wet fingers to fill all the tiny holes in the cloth with the plaster. That's what most people neglect to do. You need to activate the dry plaster with wet fingers. I only plaster the pond so I can use the Woodland Scenics Water Effects, to make it look realistic.
