The I really like your straightforward ingenuity! It's refreshing to see a creative villager develop fuss free staging that doesn't involve all that styro carving, with the mess of layers of plaster strips, blackwashing and multiple layers of gray paint. I share your approach and choose the staging to be the finished surfaces that accentuate the village and not compete with it - and not turn into an overwhelming construction project that becomes a major protracted effort. I enjoy monitoring your progress and do learn some things. Thank you for the effort it takes to video, edit and share with us.
You are more than welcome! But believe me the project seemed pretty overwhelming for me in the first days too, especially when things went wrong for several days in a row! It seemed then like a protracted project. But once I felt better I determined it wasn't going to beat me. And you have to be prepared to let it take over your life for a few weeks! It's worth it in the end.
That's actually what I like about the other channel!

Your village is coming along so well Thea! I'm so excited to start on my village next week. I'm wondering if you could please provide a link for the tunnel clip art? I had a look online but couldn't find anything nearly as good as yours! Looking forward to seeing how your village progresses. Lucy
Unfortunately the search engines never come up with the same results twice in a row. I had another look too, and couldn't find it. I will keep looking for you. Try changing the parameters, like "stone tunnel portal", or "train portal". Be warned though, it could be a rabbit hole! Good luck.
