- With Imsety ( Imsety, Glory of Horus ) and a card to discard ( Ojamagic ), you can use its effect to send itself and one card from your hand to the graveyard so that you can search for a King’s Sarcophagus and draw a free card.
After that you can activate King’s Sarcophagus and use its on-field effect to pitch a card from your hand to send another Horus monster ( Hapi, Guidance of Horus ) from your deck to your grave.
Then it’s just a simple matter of using the summoning effect of your Horus in graveyard to Special Summon themselves out to the field which will give you two materials worth of fodder for any kind of extra deck play that you could want ( The Zombie Vampire ), or you could instead keep your Horus monsters on field because how difficult they are for an opponent to deal with them, especially with paired with King’s Sarc’s protection.

Canopic protector is actually one of my favorite parts of horus because it allows the deck to play around maxx c and harpies feather duster!
As a general rule, as a Horus pilot:
1.If you're playing the engine with something else, check to see if the field spell is worth playing or not, or if there's one at all. If it is, go 1 Wall, 3 Sarc. If not, reverse that. Given Walls acts as a Sarc while on field, you can trim down the engine for other stuff.
2. A particularly fun Rank 8 I personally use is Aegeion, the Sea Castrum. Once on either turn you can banish a random Extra Deck card from your opponent and it'll gain it's Atk for that turn. Make him on your turn and assuming your opponent can't stop his effect, and by the time their turn fully hits you've stolen two cards from them. But even better? You can detach a material to send one of your opponent's banished ED monsters back to take out any matching ones on field. Link takes out link for example.
I love when you make these videos, I’m rather new to the game and this kind of stuff makes me feel just a tad more knowledgeable about the game.
This is such a great idea for a series. The hardest thing about getting into modern Yugioh is you basically need to learn every archetype being used before or as you play against them. This is really helpful

Canopic protector sets itself when sent from hand to gy which is the way horus engine works. That interaction used with Imsety gets you the discard set on field and still gets you the draw effect it way more useful than you made it seem
I was playing this video in the background as I was playing a pure Horus deck, and no joke, as 9:58 was playing, I got to trigger all four effects after my opponent used Feather Duster.
It’s a good thing Konami didn’t put a chat feature in Master Duel cause of how many times I’ve gone up against a Horus deck and wanted to cuss out the other player.
Master duel is not dueling book where you can chat with someone and besides with the timer there is not enough time.
I remember people using cards like Prohibition to just say "GG EZ" or "Unacceptable Result"

When I saw these cards in Master Duel, I immediately thought of two different decks that can pair with them perfectly
The first one is with the Egyptian Gods, more specifically with The Winged Dragon Ra. If you have King’s Sarcophagus and Ancient Chant in your hand by adding them or simply having them in your hand at the start of the duel, it will be game over for your opponent
The second one is a bit iffy at best: with the Branded. Cause most of Albaz’s fusions have some of the requirements that the Horus archetype has: Dragon & Beast-Warrior-types, Special Summoned this turn, monsters with 2500+ attack points, and a Dark attribute. Like that is perfect

I personally paired the engine with naturia to my level 12 synchros. Who knew the cosmic blazar plus nat beast work so well together

This archetype is fun too because you can Tribute Summon Egyptian Gods turn 1 with them and discard the Obelisk Trap just to search for him.

Funny enough, the Blood Ravens don’t know for sure who their Primarch actually is (assuming their Gene Seed isn’t chimeric at this point), but one of the Primarchs they CAN (probably) safely say they’re NOT born from is Sanguinius, as for all the problems the Blood Ravens have to put up with, the Black Rage and Red Thirst _aren’t_ on that list.
Horus engine is a blessing for Vampire archetype
It can pitch the low level from hand and turning them from brick into online without relying on normal summon (Vamp ghost, Gozuki, etc)
They can easily summon their Xyz boss Vampire Zombie for free dump+revive
With Zombie World active they can even be a free draw for the archetype via their Link-2, and become material for either their Link-3 or their boss monster Voivode
Thank God i got 3 Imsety when chasing for Mementotlan in MD (yet the only Memento card i got were mostly just 1-of)
As a Master Duel player I despise and hate this engine with every fiber of my being.

I love this engine... it was the second full engine I built in master duel and I have it IRL now too, both with purrely. It's oppressive in the right matches, but I've had a fair share of losses as well.

If you're referring to Duel Logs videos, they have way more effort put into them than the vast majority of Yugitube videos. They're filled with edits.
Most Yugitubers mainly do vlogs, clip their Twitch streams, or do short sketches. The typical Duel Logs video, even the top 10s, are far higher quality.
If you're referring to the Horus cards... come on, the Horus archetype is very dominant, and extremely splashable. They're very good cards that work well together.

If you people really want to play og horus, you should consider playing 1 lv6 and 1 lv8 and you can also play Promethean princess just to get level 6 in. And also 3 copies of level up. Mind you og horus is still not it its atleast something

I love this engine! I use it in a deck that can switch up on a few different strategies to bait my opponent into thinking I’m playing X archetype just to blindside them with something else (sometimes Horus lol)
I love using x3 Reasoning on this Deck.
I included Gem Knight Fusion and Foolish Burial goods, as well as the crystal beast trap.
I really hate that Black Flame Deity........ It doesn't help the engine it was supposed to be and also doesn't support the Horus LV monsters either....... 😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧

Talk about Buster Blader Duellogs, I want to know your opinion about the Destruction Sword archetype.
Its not very good but it has one card that along union carrier was goated, it was scythe in steroids!
@@josemarioperozofuenmayor3475 It's going to be awesome with the new blue-eyes support (ironically), and yes, the biggest reason why Union Carrier was banned was because he messed with Buster Blader's little buddy, so he needed to die.

Thank you dude my friend and I have been bickering over kings sarcophagus constantly with the battle effect portion now I can show this video and be proven right the only sucky side to this engine tho and ik from experience anything that banished these guys from grave is crazy you wouldn't be able to bring them back except with hapi but if hapi is gone then what you know?

Yeah, they are INCREDIBLY matchup dependent, sky striker eats them for breakfast even with all the stun stuff up, but they can make other decks instantly fold, think very board and monster heavy decks that can easily get outgrinded with the swarm of stats.

The Horus cards pair pretty well with the Danger! archetype. Discarding the danger cards will activate their effects while also getting a horus monster in the grave, or you can potentially send a horus monster to the grave with their effect as well.
Horus monsters don’t discard, they send to grave so they won’t trigger danger effects
@@andrewfirth9858 You should try reading the card effects and my comment. The danger cards can get a horus monster discarded or get themselves discarded and activate their effects.

I play Horus/Orcust/Danger in YGOPRO. Such a fun deck to play.
I try to use the Horus cards in a Therion-ish deck in Master Duel, but RNG hates me. It's cracked when it works, since King Regulus can make Nibiru a non-issue. Facing Horus is annoying, partly because they can get lethal on board in under five summons. It's amazing how I never run into Horus decks when I play Kashtira, but they're everywhere when I don't.
I am very glad this deck exists because of how easy it is to beat it in MD and Paper. A lot of ppl are playing it.

can anyone explain why people play Hapi instead of Duamutef, I always felt like Duamutef drawing cards was better than getting 2 cards back/ into deck.
Hapi can retrieve from out of play and when you get feather dusted you can get the kings sarc back to hand for next turn

You are able to search them with the field spell, but that’s about it.
The true ratios for horus to be good should be: 3imsety,3sarc,3walls,1-3canopic(depends on supporting engine),2hapi,1duamutef,1qebehsenuef, and 1black flame deity.

honestly i love horus, sure it has stun applications but it lets you do a lot of silly things like easily getting 3 tributes for god cards or just leave all 4 of them on field and go +5 when your opponent removes one
My favorite silly application is the arcana force the world infinite turn strat, hilarious and honestly pretty playable.
