Lay back is the #1 cause of TJS. Everyone teaches it, and...everyone gets injured.

This is so ridiculous that they still tell people to do this. Top Velocity TH-cam channel is probably the best to watch.

As a medical professional with a doctorate degree, I spent my clinical studies studying what actually causes throwing injuries. I compiled all of this information in my book, Arm Alloy, to give coaches and clinicians a practical framework for rehabilitating and training overhead throwing athletes that was not based on arbitrary guidelines or unsubstantiated conjecture.

@OverheadAthletics my comment is not unsubstantiated, it is a quote from DR. Fleisig at ASMI. He said that. Do you not agree with him? Do you have excerpts from your book that explain the number one cause of TJS? Are they posted somewhere. I would be very interested in what you think is the main cause of TJS. What I don't understand is we have Dr.s Explaining what causes injuries, yet we continue to pitch the same way and keep getting injured the same way.

How do you fix a low elbow? Is there a drill

The elbow being above the shoulder isn’t a problem?

No, when the elbow is below the shoulder, the greater tuberosity of the humeral head buttresses against the posterior glenoid rim, creating mechanical impingement, and limiting lay back. Essentially what this means is that the elbow, being on plane with the shoulders or slightly above that plane will allow for the greatest and safest degree of external rotation and lay back and this is why you see this over and over again in professional athletes.
