As you're now a few months in it would be great to see a video about your progress so far. Not times/paces, but how it's felt, what surprised you etc. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻😀🏃🏻♂️
I ran one particular 6km track every half year or so, at the same average heart rate. This made me see the progress right there. The pace was getting better and better.
How come every time you or Phily post something I just want to get to know just as friends? I admire both of your running journeys and I think it such a boost to look at one of your videos if I’m not motivated for my run. Currently at around 27-28 miles per week and increasing. Thanks to you I’m a bit motivated to sign up for a 10K this upcoming spring. Keep up the amazing work. This comment turned out so long, however I want to end by saying you both are such comfy, lovely people to watch. Thank you 🙏
If you are in Manchester , just head up to the west pennine moors near Bolton up the road , we dont have the hight of where you guys were but it is beautiful and you can easily get a 1000 ft of climbing done on a run (I am in Chorley on the other side of the hills), both trailes and rolling roads are available.
One of the things I love about running is just how simple it is... consistency = improvement. It's great seeing you conquering the hills, they just make you stronger! They're a constant feature in most of my easy/long runs and I'm partial to getting on the trails on the edge of the Peak District (we're about 25 miles south of you guys) and I think they improve all distances by adding power and stamina. The other benefit of trails is the uneven surfaces work lots of stabilisers if you can avoid rolling an ankle it's a win-win! Odd Adobe glitch! Writing to external drive now or cloud?
Yes! So nice to just stick to it and see the stacking of fitness week on week! And yes hills are definitely going to be part of the schedule now I think, And yes very strange glitch but they must have it a lot it was there first thing they suggested, I now export to a local drive and that has fixed the issue 😂
Hi Phily, fairly new subscriber. I watched the video of your Q&A’s on how you make money through TH-cam etc. But I think a lot of people would be interested in how team GB athletes get paid who aren’t superstars (yet) their sponsors, how they got them/£/free running gear etc. As someone who just runs for personal fitness and have almost no interest in watching a whole marathon or track apart from the Olympics, so I’d be interested to know how it works on the financial side as it’s obviously way below viewers for football, boxing, cricket etc, thanks 😊
Might be worth it, for carrying a phone, gopro and then gels and water when you start running further, investing in something like the Salomon active skin 8. Philly probably can't use it due to her new balance sponsorship, but could be perfect for you?
How do you (or Phily) find the routes you run ? Particularly in places you’ve not visited before ? I tend to run the same routes, and that can get boring.
Good question, because Font is so famous for running, all the routes are super well known especially in the elite circle. Phily has been to font once before so knows it pretty well. ☺️
Hi Daniel! Love your and philys channel, I have a question directed to phily. Could you ask her what heartrate monitor she is using that she attaches around her upper arm?

I like this idea! Might have to do this one 😃

This comment made me smile! So glad your going to sign up for a 10k I’m sure you’ll smash it!
Same, I comment more on these videos than any other because they just feel friendly and personal. Love the content on both channels 😊
That terrain looks beautiful! Glad you got to go.
Hills for breakfast! 🏃♀🏔I am enjoying following your and Philys running journey, keep it up! 💪
Thanks for following along, means a lot!

Lovely to see and hear how much you're enjoying life.
🥰
Life advice for us all, find someone who looks at you the way Philly looks at a baguette
Very sound life advice indeed!

I swear, I said, “don’t forget your watch”, right before you said oh yeah, “my watch. Thanks TH-cam” 😂
😂😂 thank you!
As someone who loves running, forests and pastry, I really enjoyed this video
😂😂
Yessss love you two
🥰
Hills are free intervals. Dont have to plan or look at watch just keep running.
Sounds wonderful 😂

I'm assuming there's no footage of the cats on your return because they were sulking somewhere, refusing to speak to you?
You couldn’t be more right! 😂
There was grind in this video and it was indeed loved.
LTG ✊🏼
