I super appreciate how you just went straight to the point of showing how to change the battery and not have a long narrative before doing so. Thank you! I super like your video!
Excellent video. I might only suggest, keep the circuit board in the shell and hold shell only (not the board), to avoid zapping the electronics with static electricity. 😉
Thank you for the detailed video. When separating the two halves, the spring popped out that creates tension for the release switch. I was able to briefly see it’s position in your video, but people should be careful to watch for that. It was tricky to get it back in place before closing the two halves back together.
Sucky diy...you touched the battery that wasn't supposed to touch, and your separating the fob technique was not careful, and putting back together was shoddy, mus que on vid. Do better on your next diy. Take this criticism with a grain of salt...
Thank you for shutting up and getting right to the chase with ur tutorial

Thank you...you showed more detail than other sites...got it done!
Thank you so much. You made it so easy to understand without narrative!

Totally agree. No BS just right to it with out a bunch of talking. Thank you. Great tutorial
Thank you very much for this video. My dad changed it for me cus I got a notification on my dashboard that the batter was low. Again, thanks!

Gotta say, great simple video! Thank you. Was able to change it out in real time no issues. That’s a first
You don't need the screw driver. The part that you take off has a metal strip which you use to pop open the case.
Exactly right!!! I had worked that out the miniute I removed the key from the fob!
Great video ✨🌺 THANK YOU
Thanks, very useful.
Will a 2016 work or only a 2032?
is it the same for a 2018?
Thanks for sharing
Fast n simple
Thank you!
Thx bro
Just saved me $ bro.
I changed my toyota highlander batteries and now it won't start at all wth!! Idk what I did wrong 😕
thank you
I bought new batteries and they don't work does it have to be 2032 is that y cuz the ones I bought are 2016
mine are 1632. when you open it you will see which one it is
How do I save the battery?
Thanks
The key itself is thin enough at its tip to open up the fob. No screwdriver needed. ;)
👍
Buen video! Pero no mames carnal, pinches dedos se te doblan como si fueran de plastilina 😅😛😛 sobre todo el pulgar, saludos!
The dealer say 2016 battery
I mean to say battery life
I like how your battery just pops right in. Mine refuses to seat and lock in. The design is horrible.
Your thumb freaks me out.
Good video could be better if there was an audio explaination.
Thank You, next time i will try that :)
Disagree, perfect as is, no over explaining
Couldn’t see how you got the old battery out because camera angle wasn’t good...
Toyota tried to tell me i have to pay them to change it because they have to reprogram the key. Theyre just bullshiting me right?
I simply replaced battery and it worked - Not sure why would reprogram would require, I see no reason of that as long as it works.
