IM GOING TO CRY. Jet Set Radio is... by far... the game I would want them to bring back the most. Played that all the time...... every time I go to the used game shop I think to myself, should I buy every last copy of JSTF to give to all my friends. I STILL LISTEN TO THE SOUNDTRACK TO THIS DAY. Such a great concept. Thank you SEGA for bringing it back. What is not to like about a futuristic, roller blading, underground punk style video game set in Japan.

I never heard of this game or played it before, but from how you describe it, it sounds very similar to Sunset Overdrive which I think is beyond amazing
Hideki Naganuma comforts me during my drives on my worst work days. I just throw the JSRF playlist on spotify and let the tunes take me back to Shibuya Terminal. (Not to mention that game is the first intro ive ever had to japan as a kid and even though it was not accurate the vibe was VERY accurate to the point where im pretty sure ive recognized dogenzaka hill and the bus terminal at a glance while watching trappin in japan street walkthrough videos.)

I love crazy taxi I've played all 3 and the remastered first one, got it currently on my steam deck! Crazy taxi 3 was underrated... streets of rage one of my favorite genesis games and this looks cool. Jet set radio future on Xbox OG was a classic! Shinobi looks fire, golden axe looks fun... let's go! 🎉

As a child, SoR was the game that actually got me into gaming. Even after playing countless games after it, its still one of my favourite games of all time and as soon as i saw this, i nearly cried! Its the whole reason why beat em ups are my favourite genre and that fact its going to be 3d just makes me even happier
No fr!! I would go over to my best friends house and play streets of rage with her younger siblings all the time. It was my favorite thing to do with them and now that we’re getting another one I’m literally so happy I’m gonna cry
@@alexthomas8502 my earliest memory of any game was watching my mum and dad play SoR 2. My dad was Axel and my mum would be blaze. I then remember the first time playing SoR2 which was the first game I ever played. My dad wouldn't let me be axel so I would pick skate. As soon as the first level started, I just remember grabbing axel and then jumping on his head and punching him with skate instead of going for the bad guys because my dad took the the 1up in the bottom corner that was hidden! Everything about that game was just amazing. Still one of the best soundtracks of any video game ever

As a 80/90's kid, who always loved SEGA and their games (had all the consoles except Dreamcast), you made me feel alive for gaming once again. My heart always said "SEGA" ❤
Shinobi using the graphics and animations of Streets of Rage 4 looks AMAZING. With Sega Genesis being my first ever console, I'm so hyped. Can't wait to see what they'll do with Sonic.

My Uncle left my brother and I his old Sega with only 2 games. One of those was a three in one cart with Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. So awesome to see those franchises making a comeback (though streets of Rage technically already came back, but that's besides the point). The other game of was Echo the Dolphin. Surprised they haven't announced that fever dream as getting a sequel.
You and me both! All they need to do now, is bring back the NiGHTS series, Do Sonic Shuffle 2, Bring back the Space Channel 5 Series, & remake the first Sonic Adventure from scratch! Or heck. Just do Sonic Adventure 3 & let us use 6 playable characters again and bring back Open World like the first Sonic Adventure! & Virtua Fighter 6

But what i mean is that, i want another game that let you play with 6-playable characters again and bring back open world so you can explore like the first sonic adventure. But with another "Sonic Adventure sequel" title slapped on. So that way it could legit be Sonic Adventure 3. Sonic Adventure 2 was a mistake, if i say so myself. I mean they took out open world when they released Sonic Adventure 2. So you couldn't explore cities & take a vehicle or a train station from a city to a jungle, or a jungle to eggmans hideout & to his egg carrier anymore. So them taking out open world exploring was a dumbest idea, a biggest mistake & dumbest decision that Sega could ever thought of. Is like the game was in so much in a rush that they had nothing to take out but for the Open World itself. =_=
SHINOBI!!! A game I still play almost every single day. Especially the 3D reboots on PS2 including "Nightshade". Extremely excited and hope they release a new 3D Shinobi similar to what they made on PS2. I think modern gamers would really dig that with such a demand for games like Devil May Cry & Ninja Gaiden, even though they're very different in combat and gameplay.

Outsourcing them, Sega aren't developing them themselves. They will act as publisher, with funding and development coming from budget studios like Komi Games and LizardCube.

When I saw Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe get new games in this announcement I was blown away! I'm looking forward to this! I'm also glad that we're getting more Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi game! Sega is finally reviving their golden age games in the modern era!
When I was a child I loved playing Golden Ax 3, I played for hours, and I'm glad to know that Sega will bring back classic games, the others I didn't play directly but I also knew them. I look forward to playing each of these new games.

As a 80/90's kid, who always loved SEGA and their games (had all the consoles except Dreamcast), you made me feel alive for gaming once again. My heart always said "SEGA" ❤

Shinobi using the graphics and animations of Streets of Rage 4 looks AMAZING. With Sega Genesis being my first ever console, I'm so hyped. Can't wait to see what they'll do with Sonic.
I still play Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, especially after downloading the enhanced mod.
This commercial brought back amazing childhood memories as well as the intense hypeness of these amazing games looking more advanced then before. Sega came out the shadows

This is what SEGA has needed for a decade or more. People passionately bringing back these classic franchises which STILL hold weight and demand attention.
Shame it took this long but I’m hyped to support these games, especially JSR.

@@KingStr0ng The console business is high risk even Microsoft is struggling with all their money and resources. Sega doesn't stand a chance in the hardware business .It's best for them to stay as 3rd party

My Uncle left my brother and I his old Sega with only 2 games. One of those was a three in one cart with Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe.
So awesome to see those franchises making a comeback (though streets of Rage technically already came back, but that's besides the point).
The other game of was Echo the Dolphin.
Surprised they haven't announced that fever dream as getting a sequel.
If Ecco comes back, i'll share manly tears...if they make it good as Sub-nautica, im all in.
Ecco did get a sequel on Dreamcast so it wouldn't be impossible

You and me both! All they need to do now, is bring back the NiGHTS series, Do Sonic Shuffle 2, Bring back the Space Channel 5 Series, & remake the first Sonic Adventure from scratch! Or heck. Just do Sonic Adventure 3 & let us use 6 playable characters again and bring back Open World like the first Sonic Adventure! & Virtua Fighter 6

But what i mean is that, i want another game that let you play with 6-playable characters again and bring back open world so you can explore like the first sonic adventure. But with another "Sonic Adventure sequel" title slapped on. So that way it could legit be Sonic Adventure 3. Sonic Adventure 2 was a mistake, if i say so myself. I mean they took out open world when they released Sonic Adventure 2. So you couldn't explore cities & take a vehicle or a train station from a city to a jungle, or a jungle to eggmans hideout & to his egg carrier anymore. So them taking out open world exploring was a dumbest idea, a biggest mistake & dumbest decision that Sega could ever thought of. Is like the game was in so much in a rush that they had nothing to take out but for the Open World itself. =_=

I almost would have prefered a hand drawn style like Dragon's Crown for a new Golden Axe game. But i wont knock it till i try it

SHINOBI!!! A game I still play almost every single day. Especially the 3D reboots on PS2 including "Nightshade". Extremely excited and hope they release a new 3D Shinobi similar to what they made on PS2. I think modern gamers would really dig that with such a demand for games like Devil May Cry & Ninja Gaiden, even though they're very different in combat and gameplay.
One of the best games of its era I could play that game for hours and hours

Outsourcing them, Sega aren't developing them themselves. They will act as publisher, with funding and development coming from budget studios like Komi Games and LizardCube.

It did say "and more" in the trailer so it's possible that Nights is on that list

Crazy Taxi was so addictive! I'm already pumped for this one! The new Shinobi game looks awesome too. It's excellent that Sega delves into its old franchises!!

The original did not come out on xbox in 2002 it came out in 2000 for the dream dreamcast.

Oh, snap! Sega, you've really outdone yourselves with this announcement! I'm glad that you've finally given some love to your other game IPs besides Sonic the Hedgehog! When I saw Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe get new games in this announcement I was blown away! I'm looking forward to this! I'm also glad that we're getting more Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi game! Sega is finally reviving their golden age games in the modern era!
Few seconds of Crazy Taxi were the most exciting ones of The Game Awards to me.

When I was a child I loved playing Golden Ax 3, I played for hours, and I'm glad to know that Sega will bring back classic games, the others I didn't play directly but I also knew them. I look forward to playing each of these new games.
