    Good job. What distance range do you get on the bike with those 4 batteries?

      Nothing to buy really, just open the case and some modifications to fit the batteries. The dewalt adapter, I 3D printed myself and some wires. The dewalt adapter can be purchased on Amazon.

    Wow I didn’t think this motor could handle 40v! How much volt can the original controller handle? 28v? 32v? I have a ton of drone batteries I can add in series and would rather not buy a controller if I can get away with it.

    I know nothing about these electrics. Where does your new controller go? How do you know where to connect all those wires, and do they fit into connectors already on your bike? A friend of mine has one of these bikes, it has not been used in years. Nothing happens when she charges the battery and installs it on the bike. One video I saw talks about turning a switch off and on to make the batteries start working.

      The new controller go back the same place as the old one. It a little diff in size but it fit fine.
      The wire all have label but the new one will have less function so thing like pedal assist, voltage indicator light will not work. I can do a short clip to show how wire and fittings. For your friend bike make sure the batt still good, the switch in the back by controller housing switch to the side of the battery installed since u can have batt on either side. The red switch on the right handle bar is to turn on and off for pedal assist so it need to be off for throttle control.

      @@ThingToDo I do not know where the controller is on this bike. Is it inside the battery holder?

    • @ThingToDo
      @ThingToDo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is in the enclosed case where u mount the batt

      @@ThingToDo So a frozen, split battery will possibly ruin the controller?
