No, mine is set up where it says my vehicle is a bike. I noticed that in another comment, wondering if some locations are set up allowing bikes and others are not. What city are you in?
Contact support and ask them to add a new dash type to your account. Just tell them which dash types you want to add (walking, biking, motorcycle etc) then they'll add it for you, you'll get an email about it and when you check the app you'll be able to change your dash type and see the map change based on which type you pick.

Hello I have a question is it safe doing Food delivery while on a e scooter in the streets as a food Delevery person. Csn you share the car lane well. I know u did with a bicycle just curious thx
I would check the local laws as I think they are different city to city. My experience has been that cities prefer you to be in the street or a bike lane as it's safer for walking pedestrians this way. My advice if you do this or with a bike...travel in the middle of the car lane to completely own it as when I'm off over on the side people try to sneak past me really close and it feels a lot more dangerous! This applies to city and slower roads - otherwise, I'm on the sidewalk!
My strategy is to get a bunch of those drink carriers. Put one in there holding the actual drink(s) and then use a bunch of extra ones to fill space in the bag so it doesn’t fall over.
It varies but it’s typically at least 25+ in a dense area. Much more when stuff is further a part. I have to bike decent mileage just to get where I want to “start my shift”
I got it directly from the UberEats Shop! It was a limited product I think because I haven’t seen it since! Search for “insulated delivery backpack” for something similar!
Be a great gig for someone who wants to get in shape/stay in shape and not pay for a ton of gas.

Very very carefully…the bag has some straps to act as cup holders. It’s not perfect. But I meannnnnn….
@@DakotaEthridge thanks! Looking to try this myself :)
When I sign up it didn’t give a bike or skateboard option when it told me to select a vehicle option, it only shows car but I’ve seen ads that you can use a skateboard or bike. Did you just select car and still use a bike anyways?
No, mine is set up where it says my vehicle is a bike. I noticed that in another comment, wondering if some locations are set up allowing bikes and others are not. What city are you in?
@@DakotaEthridge San Antonio
Contact support and ask them to add a new dash type to your account. Just tell them which dash types you want to add (walking, biking, motorcycle etc) then they'll add it for you, you'll get an email about it and when you check the app you'll be able to change your dash type and see the map change based on which type you pick.
@@PillowStuffin appreciate it
definitely not, they'll send you far as hell
Hi, I wanna do doordash with my e bike, but does the doordash require an insurance for the bike ? if it does, I have no any insurance. Do you have any advice ? thank you🙏
I’m not familiar if e bikes require insurance for something like this.
I’m just getting started with biking for dashing. I have 2 main questions… is the hot spot (red area) smaller when in bike mode? The second question is where can I get one of the bags on your back?
No I think the red spots are the same regardless of vehicle. And search for “insulated delivery backpack”
May I ask what city you signed up in ?, my city currently has no drivers or riders available and I cannot wait on the waitlist that will literally take years so I’m looking for a city that will just let me sign up ? any help ?
I signed up in Denver.
@@DakotaEthridge hmmm? I’m in California, I wonder if would work still ?, not to be weird but what zip code did you use ? Sorry I just really want to get accepted through ?!?
@@shannongonewild9717 it’s not weird! 80206 is the zip I used / where I was living!
I wasn’t able to get through on Uber eats for a long time in like 2021. Not sure why, maybe they just weren’t taking on new hires but it didn’t explicitly say.
Not sure what trouble you may be having, especially being in California? I woulda assumed the more the merrier because it’s heavily enough populated there!
Does door dash give you a smaller work area than a car?
Not that I’ve found.
I have a mountain bike is that ok I need a faster bike
I’m thinking about switching from my job to this as my main job. Should I do it?
gurl idk…
@@DakotaEthridge well.. how much do you make monthly on average for this? I hate my job 😂 I’m willing to stretch thin a little
I only do it part time! So I only really do it when I have time & the conditions are ideal!

@@wesleyworrell1925 don’t switch. doordash is highly unpredicatable, meant as pocket money, and I’ve heard rumors about how gig work is ending
LOL an add for a 4 minute video though, damn.
🤑
where do you put your bike while you wait for an order?
I normally chain it to something…
I wonder how many miles he covered in that time
this is insperational!
23 an hour! more like in 2 hours! thererfore....you need to do at least 9 hours to get $100.00
Not spending any money on gas makes that pay more worthwhile
Do u live in a van full time im guessing?
Kinda. I’ll stay with friends or family from time to time.
But how are u allowed to use a bike the app don’t allow it it asks for car
I think it’s based on your location! It seems like DoorDash only has the bike option turned on in specific cities!
Becareful!
Which ebike you suggest for starters
I don’t use an e-bike. Unfamiliar with her work…
How do you do fountain drinks by bike
My strategy is to get a bunch of those drink carriers. Put one in there holding the actual drink(s) and then use a bunch of extra ones to fill space in the bag so it doesn’t fall over.
Love from Nepal ❤️

nice video I like your contents
how many miles are you doing when you it's a good payday ?
It varies but it’s typically at least 25+ in a dense area. Much more when stuff is further a part. I have to bike decent mileage just to get where I want to “start my shift”
you must be an affirmed cyclist when you face uphill and all 😭
good luck man keep grinding
lemme tell you it’s exhausting! And I only have a one speed 😵
an E-bike would do you good 🤔🤔
Was this on a weekday or weekend?
A Sunday!
Do you still have that uber eats bag and are you selling ?
I do still have it! I don’t think I want to sell it just yet tho!
My app never works
Where did you get your bag from
I got it directly from the UberEats Shop! It was a limited product I think because I haven’t seen it since!
Search for “insulated delivery backpack” for something similar!
