Wow! Your clear video worked great with our 2023 RDX. However, it did not seem to work for our (classic?) 2005 TL. Any advice for the TL? Thanks again for the clarity!

FYI We just purchased a 2017 RDX and the programming instructions didn't work with our Genie 1000 although it works on our 2009 TL. After contacting Homelink we were told that the software on the older remotes doesn't communicate with the newer Acuras. We had to purchase a new Genie remote (thru Amazon) that has software version 2.0.7. Once we received the new remote the programming instructions worked like a charm. So if the lights on your vehicles Homelink system don't blink like the instructions say they should, that should be your first clue. If you call Homelink have your clicker handy to review the model and software versions.
I have a 2015 MDX and have tried several times over the years to program Homelink to our Overhead Door garage opener using the instructions in the owners manual. Tried again today using instructions from Leo as well as one other video. Just cannot get it to work but feel that it has to do with one of two things: 1) The age of our opener (about 1986) which has no Learn button and 2) When using the remote or the button on the garage wall, the button must be pushed twice to activate the door. No idea why this opener needs two pushes of the button; our other Overhead opener does not which works fine with my 2001 Volvo.
The issue I have is once I've reset homelink 1-3 buttons.. then go to press and hold my remote and button 1.. it doesn flash fast. I can't get past this step. Please help!
Renting a house and the clicker is lost and you are saying that there is no way to do it without the remote device on Acura TSX ? Then if I order a new clicker it needs to be re program just like the car. Is this is just Acura problem ?
Is there a way to re-program the key fob so that you can disable the function that lowers windows and opens the sunroof when you hit unlock button twice. I dont want rain to come in a sunroof that is left open!!

In order to program a second button for a 2 car garage, we don’t reset using I&III buttons again since the first button was already programmed, right?
