Dark Fanasty is my #1 favorite album from Kanye.
That drum loop sample for Runaway is borrowed from the legendary hip hop producer Pete Rock. Ye later worked with Pete and he is a huge influence on Ye.

and PR sampled it from the back yard heavies, so did dj shadow, casual, frankie cutlass and a bunch of other people too. Its a common break in late 80s-early 90s hip hop.

Also…….they didn’t bring up that DJ Toomp co-produced All of the Lights. He made the full og beat, and it had his drums in it at first (I personally wished they were in the final some of the elements Ye added). Toomp’s artist even released a freestyle in the original beat
