I love this film, Jolie is the best onscreen Tomb Raider. I know that Angel Of Darkness definitely impacted this at the box office, but its absolutely underrated. I wish we would've gotten one last Tomb Raider film with Angelina Jolie because then we could've had a Tomb Raider Trilogy.
I loved it a lot more than the first one. The music was great, a lot better than the first film and closer to the games. The action was better and more innovative. To many fans this one is less Tomb Raiderish than the previous movie, maybe it is but I find it more enjoyable and most importantly it didn't have any family crap in the story. Also I think Angelina looks better in this one than in the first.

To be fair, Kamilla Luddington IS a British actress, but due to her constantly using an American accent not just in film and television, but in everyday life (to make it easier to keep the American accent "on"), her British accent sounds less genuine. But it IS genuine.
I find it funny that this films release caused the unfinished state of TR:AoD, and the broken state of AoD created much of the backlash toward this film. It was a recipe for disaster. I happen to like both however, so it’s always a good idea to form your own opinions vs basing an opinion on critical response. Maybe I’m just biased as a Lara Croft fan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's still there. Apparently it's only unavailable in Germany and on some devices (it doesn't specify which, but it works on PC and PS4 TH-cam.)

I can't believe there's a lack of fanbase for this one. It's basically a really good James Bond film.
I bet the movie was mostly panned by game fans, maybe.

I don't truly think the film's affected each other tbh, they both failed unfortunately even though I love them both and they blamed each other lol
