I have a holy trinity of Lara VO’s who I’ve wanted for a while: Hayley Atwell (long may she reign), Keira Knightly, and more recently Daisy Ridley. Not to everyone’s taste as I’ve been aggressively told on many occasion (🥴) but those are my top three future Lara voices!

the Legend lara absolutely has the best voice. I know you said she has a “motherly” voice but i think they meant it to be that way, she can do a badass Lara voice which we see at the end when confronting amanda. Legend voice with AOD lara attitude would be perfect

They would never do this again but Minnie Driver was a fantastic Lara. I think the LAU timeline understood Lara’s snark and rage. However, they really didn’t get Lara’s sarcasm. Minnie really combined the first 3 Lara’s voices together in the revisioned shorts. Her snark and sarcasm was on point.
This is probably an odd choice, but since Marion von Stengel voiced the german versions of most Tomb Raider games and also the two Angelina Jolie movies, her voice is so engraved in my mind that she has became "the" Lara Croft voice to me. I don't think she could do a British Lara voice, but one can dream. She just could do it all. She could sound strong, confident, playful and also emotional. Especially the LAU trilogy brought that out of her.
Very good suggestions over there Seth. And honesty my comment might offend other fans... But I really really disliked Camilla's voice. Not only the accent was horrible but just her voice was very unpleasing. It fitted the new character well but i hope she never returns.....

I heard recently that Hayley Atwell might be playing Lara for the Netflix show, which immediately dtruck me as the most obvious choice anyone could make. But I also think Daisy Ridley or Kaya Scodelario could be pretty good as Lara as they both have the acting chops for it (be it live action or otherwise).
The Perdita lady could be a really good choice if she can pull off the playfull, witty side of Lara too, her voice sounds kinda too serious. You know that line from TR Legend - Ghana "Oh look, its Rutland. Fancy dropping down for a chat then?" it's really important to me that the actress can pull those off and not sound too serious. Gemma would do a good job too, she kinda resemles the most a mix between the classic Lara and the new rebooted triology, sounds posh, but got that youthfull, warmer tone to her voice
For me Perdita Weeks is a bit too soft spoken for the sassy Lara I want and miss. I'd prefer a voice with a richer tone, like Florence Pugh or Hayley Atwell.
The lady that voiced Lara Croft in TR2 and TR3 NAILED it. She had the perfect amount confidence, attitude, and wit of original (the real) Lara. She IS Lara Croft, not this new, helpless, 21st century woke Lara
