Hi Leon - thank you for the great video - would you post the brands / products you use please. I can see the Fendwrap for the floor protection, I am wondering which brands and specific masking products you use. I have been using Corona brushes which are good and see you use them too. Have a great week!

Really helpful video, thanks for making it Leon. I'm a deckhand still getting to grips with painting. When should you use yellow tape and when should you use blue? What qualities do they have that make them better suited to different uses?

Hello mate, blue or yellow tape, good question, on this particular project blue or yellow tape doesn't really matter much, the big difference between both of them will come into effect when you use them outside and exposed in the weather, blue tape it usually have a life span of about a week before you will have a hard time taking them off, yellow tape around double that time, base on my experience I like using yellow tape more on my project , it gives finer line and it doesn't have such an agresive glue on it,it's good for taping on delicate surfaces ..hope this helps.

@@leoncaputolan Cheers Leon, good to get your expert opinion on it. Seems like yellow is the way to go for most paint jobs 👍

When you roll and tip do you go super thin? Or kinda wet with your coats? I know it says go thin but when I tried it I didn’t really see it flow out vs when I go a bit heavier coat. I have like a couple of months with awlgrip experience rolling 545 and topcoat I’ve became very good with it but I’m just wondering what you think is better.

Good question, there is so many variables to consider here, first depending on the weather, temperature and position and orientation of the project, first if you are protected from the wind and heat and cooler temperature you can get away with a heavier coat more so on a horizontal surfaces, because it has more time to actually flow, during the summer heat it cures a lot faster and doesn't get to flow well,..I usually do thin coat during summer, two nice thin coat is better than one thick coat, two thin coat will give a nice depth on your paint job.
