I don’t know man I know it’s none of my business and I understand the analytics say what they say but I think it’s a silly idea to split up the content and put the automotive content on another channel. No offense but you haven’t exactly been posting consistently or much at all for the past year. For a min there you all but disappeared and it felt like you gave up on the channel so the lack of growth makes sense. Many creators say consistency is key to growing and maintaining a channel and this channel lacks that completely. Pick at least one day a week to post and hit that every week. If you do feel the need to split things up I would think It makes more sense that the automotive content stays on Boosted Lifestyle and your other stuff should go on Kyle Williams. Personally I don’t like the Formula Cart or lawn mower builds at all. I never even end up watching the videos all the way through but that’s me, I understand they do good analytically. All and all I don’t think you post enough to even post on separate channels, there’s room to just post everything here and a channel split would just dilute things. But what do I know I’m not a creator. I just watch lots of TH-cam so good luck with what ever you decide.
I actually don't think people mind very much what specific project you work on. I personally (and probably most of your viewers) wanna see you do the stuff you are enthusiastic about because that's one emotion creators cannot hide from the camera. You have an interesting personality and a special way of doing stuff, and when you really love what you do - we love to watch THAT. :)

Getting on an upload schedule would help big time. I think the channel plateaued because you stopped posting consistently. In my opinion splitting things up will just detract from each channel.
Although you are correct, it does make sense to split because it will help people who are more interested in racing to be able to find his channel more easily and the same thing goes for people interested in engineering/building vehicles, making it much more convenient for the viewer to find what they want to watch. What im trying to say is, it might possibly help to attract more overall viewers between both channels. This also will help to bring in more revenue because he can get more sponsors and view time, which will greatly help him to expand his access to space and tools, as well as putting even more money, time, and energy into the projects to make the videos more interesting. Either way, what ever he chooses to do is his choice, and it is most likely the best option for him and his view on where he sees both him and his youtube career in the future.

I posted a couple very unedited videos of projects I’m building but my interest and projects are so drastically different I’m thinking it would be hard to keep followers. -Travelling in a 52 metro conversion I converted into a rv. -full restoration/rv conversion on a 49 mci 30 ft bus. -building a full tube chassis drag and drive car. -vehicle restorations Etc…but each has its own following’s and it would be hard to keep them all happy so I never film anything anymore. Good luck with your transition I’m sure you will do well !

I remember hanging with Tokyo back in the day with LOLNEON at Barlow. Cool to see him be a part of the channel. It’s too bad I don’t live a bit closer to Fort Mac, I own an electrical company and would have loved to offer some free labour for the garage makeover!

Doing a project the “I just want it finished” way, and then going back and doing it again properly (after that build breaks), works for SuperFastMatt content wise.
Firstly you should not be stressing yourself .. we followed you for how nice and informative you are,, continue how you started with simple builds no need to rush and be like others and " ohh today I'm buying 30 project cars" and all that .. just keep working with what you have and we love it ,,for me, I loved all the previous builds like the lawn mower, minibike, f1 ..... etc.. wish you all the best.
Have been watching most every video since the first OG 5.3 build. That is the reason I watch. Your goofy sense of humor, and drive to do it yourself. I admire that. The small projects are fun, but are the 1's I don't mind missing. I am not sure how this will all pan out for ya, but wish you my best.
Thanks! I downloaded those two books on Audible. I drive a lot for work, and looking forward to listening to them. I think it’s a good move to separate the two channels and can’t wait to see what they both bring.
I think "tighter" projects tend to have bigger payoffs because 1. they're smaller and more sustainable, monetarily and time-wise, but 2. wider reaching audience. People who aren't even interested in automotive stuff can appreciate like a lawn kart or a crazy build. I think a lot of the mini kart channels (red beard, build break repeat, cars and camera, ratherbwelding) have a lucritive position: They have small kart builds which are both interesting and financially viable (especially with their kart sponsors footing the bill for most of the parts) and tons of engagement.
All of the stuff you’re moving to “main channel “ are still automotive stuff. I’ve watched for a minute, and think the build, the racing, the friends you work with, the workouts and the lifestyle vlog is all the same Kyle TH-cam, even the business and relationship with virgina and your son, all one package
The progression... Love it. Always push, always learn. Always experience. You can pick any job in the world. You can do it, and be good at it. Or you can learn,know and become a master of it. Its like the channel or 3 that take an old Honda, use the frame and make a replica hypercar. They were just ok at first. Now they are bigger, more experienced, better techniques and the cars are amazing.

Can tell you this much though, some of my favorite content over all this time is when Tokyo is around, the way you and him interact makes the videos so fun. Can tell ya'll are great friends, and it makes the videos even better. Loved the Nova build videos, and was gutted when the Nova got wrecked.

Splitting stuff up is a BAD idea, ive seen this done many times and ive been on youtube as my main source of entertainment for over 17 years and i always see when a main channel split up, it never works out and they either abandoned the other channel or delete it afterwards. Listen to the people here before you do it.
I totally support this idea and you do have a good point, see I always kept track of your snow mobile, the trikes, the 8 turbo build because these were fun... But vids like shoving LS in a Ford for a video title even is repulsive then to you go again with gina's car then hemi in a ford, yes I wouldn't watch that and lots of just ford guys wouldn't do so as well... And even turbo charging any engine is a casual thing made by many automotive builders... It nearly became plug and play yet when you become unique or do something of your own like this crazy tank idea you just mentioned, Yes I d love seeing that because that would be KYLE'S and wouldn't see it on any other channel, but engine swaps? Turbo charging? Piping? Gosh... The harness videos, dont expect on these seriously! Wish you all the best and shall follow your new channel even when I know which one Im gonna watch more though!

Sorry I missed this live. But when it comes to the formula cart, you’ve already done the Honda Civic and all of its different turbos. Why not just take one of those and go with what you already know. Put the Honda motor into the formula cart.

I agree with the majority of comments that you're over thinking and over complicating this. I rarely follow secondary channels because I like to keep my feed simple. I enjoy all of your content and splitting it up may just cause you to fall off my radar. Just post more consistently on this channel and you'll be fine.
If you want to get views on youtube you have to create content people want to watch, not the things you find fun. People don't care about racing videos. It's not about automobile vs toys. The cars you work on are boring to people. It has absolutely nothing to do with your location. Location may make it harder for you to create content but it's not location holding you back. You're an extremely talented fabricator and a very good mechanic. You have comedic talent. Build cooler cars and people will watch more
I'd say most of the viewers like racing and that's what brought them here and location definitely has an effect. It's only summer for a couple of mouths there where in Florida it's most of the year. Tracks aren't open in the winter. He'll make it work out, im sure, because he had the determination to do so.

I think it’s cause you pick the wrong cars and setups. Ls content is way over saturated. Nobody cares about hemi stuff in general. Got to pick what is hot at that moment. There is very few people doing coyotes on TH-cam and people are crazy about them right now. I think you should have chose that platform instead of the hemi. It’s all good though do what makes you happy ultimately.

I agree with the majority of comments that you're over thinking and over complicating this. I rarely follow secondary channels because I like to keep my feed simple. I enjoy all of your content and splitting it up may just cause you to fall off my radar. Just post more consistently on this channel and you'll be fine.

If you want to get views on youtube you have to create content people want to watch, not the things you find fun. People don't care about racing videos. It's not about automobile vs toys. The cars you work on are boring to people. It has absolutely nothing to do with your location. Location may make it harder for you to create content but it's not location holding you back. You're an extremely talented fabricator and a very good mechanic. You have comedic talent. Build cooler cars and people will watch more
I'd say most of the viewers like racing and that's what brought them here and location definitely has an effect. It's only summer for a couple of mouths there where in Florida it's most of the year. Tracks aren't open in the winter. He'll make it work out, im sure, because he had the determination to do so.

I think it’s cause you pick the wrong cars and setups. Ls content is way over saturated. Nobody cares about hemi stuff in general. Got to pick what is hot at that moment. There is very few people doing coyotes on TH-cam and people are crazy about them right now. I think you should have chose that platform instead of the hemi. It’s all good though do what makes you happy ultimately.
