I just bought one of these guys from amazon. It will be here this Friday. You got to love amazon prime!!! There is also a case that you can get for your ultra speaker. I picked up the case as well. Both speaker and case cost me $55. That's a great deal in my opinion. Thanks for the great instructions. The USBC is a great feature. I'm totally blind, so need a speaker with good bluetooth. I'm glad this speaker is bluetooth 5.0. Sometimes lower bluetooth like 4.2 doesn't work well with voice over on my iPhone 8. I'm sure I will have no trouble in using this speaker. Audio books and things like audio dramas or described movies will also sound good on this speaker. I'll send another comment once I've tried it out. Thanks again for a great review.

I need a new speaker. I stuck Anker Soundcore for a long time. Soundore 1 died defective micro USB port. Soundore 2 that replaced the Soundcore 1 died defective micro USB port. Since 2 was under warranty they were kind enough to upgrade me to the Soundcore Boost. Amazing sound. Loved it. Loved. Past tense. It died defective micro USB port. No more micro USB. I had an Oontz angle before had zero trouble. The usb type c is key for me.

It’s a great little speaker
I just ordered it today, just because of it's unique feature which allows us to separate L/R channels on 2 separate speakers. (I don't know the proper term for this feature though) I wonder how many other brands are available today with this same feature out there. Appreciate if anyone can share the alternatives. Because I'd like to explore into those sets of speakers.

I had to return 3 to 4 bluetooth speakers until I finally find one that syncs the volume control with my Chromebook and samsung phone. They really need to make a bluetooth protocol which syncs volume control with all devices.

Hello to all. I received my oontz angle 3 ultra speaker today. I might be returning it. It isn't that the speaker is easy to use. Once I found the position for the best sound, the buttons were oriented correctly, and I quickly figured out what button did what. Having dedicated buttons for skipping tracks both forward and back is kind of cool. The app is sort of accessible with voice over. I tried the E-Q settings and honestly, they really don't make much of a difference when it comes to the sound of the speaker. The real issue for me, is that there is no power on or off tones. Before I paired the speaker to my iPhone, I had a heck of a time even knowing if the speaker were even on or not. This is the only bluetooth speaker that I own that doesn't have any kind of power on or off tone. Once I paired the speaker to my iPhone, it isn't quite as bad, because if the speaker is on, I do get the connection tone, but before that, it was difficult. I pressed and held down all the buttons but heard no sound. Those who have vision, could have just seen the light come on when you turned it on, but since I'm blind, with no audible tone, that wasn't possible. What I did, was to have my iPhone on my bluetooth settings and I looked for a new speaker. I did finally find the oontz angle 3 ultra once the speaker was turned on. I double tapped on the speaker name and it did connect with my iPhone. One good thing, is the battery life seems to be quite good. The speaker did come 80% charged out of the box which is very cool. I will be contacting Cambridge sound works and letting them know of my concerns. I probably will be returning the speaker and case I purchased because I don't want any speaker in my bluetooth speaker collection, not to have any kind of power on or off tone. If I ever get any other bluetooth device other than my iPhone, I'll have the same problem knowing when the speaker is on or off. I've seen different speaker reviews where some people wish they could turn off audible tones when a bluetooth speaker is on or off, but the short of it is, not everyone can see.

Approximately two years ago, I purchased two of these speakers and I was very happy with their performance. They were easy to pair; however, one of the two stopped working after a couple of years. I ordered a new one that I could pair in place of the damaged one. After receiving the new replacement, I can not get the old one to pair with the new one! I've tried every possible way without success. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want a TWS that has stereo and the same signal ... so I can hear in different rooms the same sound and when I want stereo it goes stereo... do you know some speaker that does that? Thanks a lot!!!

You can actually pair up to 4 Angle 3 ULTRA speakers.

Sorry I get 100s of questions ask and now I get what you’re asking. Just connect the Bluetooth in the Amazon app under the device that you want to use. Just make sure it’s in pairing mode. Which speaker would you buy between this speaker and the Anker Soundcore 2? I'm buying one asap. I want the loudest one with the best bass. I'm leaning towards this speaker.

Thinking about buying this soon. Want to use it for electronic music so a good bass is very important to me- is this speaker good? Of course not looking to fill up a house with crystal clear music, but I want a decent priced speaker that's loud, clear, and has powerful bass
They are great for the money. You could always link 2 together later
I also have the Angle 3 (non-ultra) and made an observation. The Angle 3 radiates bass through the surface it sits on. The Ultra does not because of the soft shock absorbing feet. If you remove the rubber ends and fill the feet with a roll of tacky putty, the Ultra will do the same thing. Try different spots on your desk or table for the best effect.

@@marcolujan2457 In a small space the speaker is a great improvement. Two larger speakers would be better if you have the space. I am quiet pleased, I would purchase again.
The one thing I don’t like about this speaker is it connects your phone calls to the speaker. Does anyone know how to turn off this feature on an iPhone? I will probably return it if I can’t figure this out. I would have to give a poor review for privacy and uninterrupted music. I don’t want my phone ringing or phone calls being played through the speaker.
Any phone will do that with a Bluetooth speaker

I played it from a phone with bluetooth and aux, then with my TV, drum kit and keyboard using aux. I believe it's just a problem with the device itself.

Your title says you would go over setup, but you didn't. You only explained HOW TO USE the thing AFTER the speaker has been set up. Jeez.
You pair the Bluetooth nothing more to it. The controls are self explanatory plus you have the manual. Keep in mind this is a old video I’ve learned alot since then
I have this speaker. Tbh it sucks. It sound Is way to loud compared to it's bass. The base is so bad but the sound of vocals and anything other than the bass is too loud
