Henry pronounced his last name as Close not Kloss. That being said I have used their products since the late 80’s early 90’s. Try to get yourself a pair of Cambridge Soundworks Model 6 speakers they ,,go for more money used than when they were new, I had 4 pair of them at one time.

While being plugged into a charger or laptop you can listen to BT or AUX in. Most all modern BT speakers will operate this way. Cheers

Bought two. Not as loud as the 10 watt Angle 3.
How's this compared to Anker for at similar prices?
Well that is a great question, and not an easy one to answer, but here goes.... The Oontz looks better and I do like the tilting up design so the speakers fires right at you when it sets on a table, but IMHO The Anker sounds better and battery life is stellar. Hope this helps.

Cheap power port. My Oontz would work fine but I can no longer charge it.
Yes, I had a JBL flip4 that did the same thing. Just after the return window.... not a happy csmper
USB C is what they use now. Supposedly a better port.
