I worked at an animal rescue for many years. Whilst there we had rescued 2 darling little girls who were together on the streets. We cleaned them up, took them to the doctor and then put them up for adoption. People would show interest but only wanted 1 of the bonded pair. After 10 or 15 requests for just one, my wife and I adopted the pair as a gift to myself on my birthday.
It has been the most beautiful gift. We are coming up on their 8th year of being part of my pack, part of my life. They have brought me much joy and happiness.
I thank the maker that they came into my life.
A few things of the many that I will never regret is getting married to my beautiful wife and adopting this bonded pair.

Thanks for saving those 2 poor dogs. Whoever dumped them in the ditch sure will go to hell. They should wait until that day in fear. I have adopted dogs and cats from the local shelters for more than 40 years. Few of them were strays I found on the streets, farms, and abandoned houses. They were all such great fur friends. I once had 10 dogs and few cats. Sad to believe there are so many animals that were abandoned, tortured, and neglected.

All animals deserve better than this
especially domesticated breeds who were never meant to be in the wild thats why you only see them as homeless animals around the city, and around humans. they were never even meant to be alone in the wild without humans. those breeds were bred to be pets..... its so sad.
I love these little animals. They are so precious and adorable. We have a couple of dogs that are just as much family as any one of us. It’s amazing
