@gewurztramina If Jacob was seized from an abusive breeder as she says, it's likely there are records of who his littermates were (mostly to prevent accidental inbreeding, which is bad for business). Vardan may even have been seized at the same time as Jacob and just sent to a different rescue--often when breeders are raided, there are too many animals to send to a single rescue. But if the rescue that took in Vardan could no longer house him, a rescue that already had one of his littermates might make a good home for him.

I had 2 wolf Hybrid dogs when I was growing up that were brothers and it I'd exactly like that.... We had to quarantine one of them for 10 days for biting someone (who would have been fine if he had just freaking listened.) Anyway, the one that was home literally was moping around and wouldn't eat until his brother got back.. Seeing his face light up when his brother came thru the door was beyond words.... Also, they got loose once together and we're gone for a couple days and when they were found, one of them had a swollen paw and couldn't walk very well and his brother was right there with him.... Wolves have this amazing bond with their family and it's a beautiful thing to get to witness and be a part of. I would love to be able to have wolf mixes again one day. They are the best dogs I have ever had or had the pleasure to be around. Oh and also Akitas. These dog breeds get these bad reputations when it has absolutely nothing to do with the breed. It is completely about how the dog was raised and cared for. Any dog can be dangerous and unpredictable if it's not properly trained and loved. Same thing with human beings. So people let's stop labeling dog's personalities and behaviors by their breed and show everyone that all dogs are capable of love. ❤

I love that there are sanctuaries not just for wolves but multiple types of animals ( legitimate sanctuaries) because unfortunately through various causes some animals would not survive in the wild, and to see a suffering animal whether wild or not and do nothing is just horrible, you are basically sentencing them to a long drawn out death. So it warms my heart when well meaning people who TRULY care about the animals well being regardless of their own desires (like wanting to keep them despite the animals misery) and rescue them and try to get them the help and care they need and if possible return them to the wild but if not find them a suitable place where they can live comfortably and happy.

I knew Jacob & Varden would remember each other. I grew up with a wolf hybrid as a brother. He lived in our big house with my large family. When I saw what Jacob did to the pillows I laughed because Ianuk destroyed pillows and a mattress in his youth. When I joined the military, I didn't see Ianuk for almost 5 years. When I went to my dad's to visit, Ianuk bolted to the wooded backyard because he didn't recognize me. He slowly circled me with his nose up. I held my hand out and you could see the moment he caught my scent. He bounded toward me and knocked me to the ground, covering me with wolf kisses. He lived to 28 years old. And for the record, wolf hybrids are NOT dogs, not even close!

@@novajay5349probably not but they made that decision and their large family tried to do what they can to give them a happy life. Every year us humans realize how naive we were just a year ago. So humans hear cool words like wolf hybrids and they are quick to adopt them. And in this case we don’t know if the original comment got him from a breeder or rescued Lanuk

This has to be such demanding work to meet the needs for these 'dogs' ....this lady is a natural and passed on this gift to her daughter... the pack can sense her youth and innocence so she's not viewed as a threat .....👍🏼what good fortune for Jacob and Varden....Blessing for this wonderful sanctuary 😍😻❣️
You are my hero! What a selfless act on your part. The time, money, stamina and financial burdens…just wow. Thank you for giving these beautiful creatures a loving home ❤❤❤
Excellent job human, way to go!👍😁👍
This makes me so happy & reminiscent when she showed us the chaos/damage caused by her rescued Wolfdog who was being kept inside. I had one, he actually dug through the door frame, sheet rock (inside and out of the house) so he could breathe the odors in the air and know within miles when I was on my way home.
So grateful that Wolfdog sanctuaries are a thing. These are very intelligent and loving animals, exhibiting many traits from both dog and wolf - the best attributes to me. Thank you for sharing your love, life, sanctuary and family. You lead by example ❤️
I had 2 wolf dogs and I guess I was blessed mine never did that kind of damaged. I eventually house broke them and we're very good companions and at 90% wolf they were raised around my 3 kids and we'll socialized and did educational programs with them the . The boys and girl scouts earned their wild life patches with the big babies as well.
Goosebumps all up and down my arms. Such amazing creatures being taken care of by even MORE amazing creatures!
God Bless You and God Be WITH you doing such beautiful work of healing for animals 🥰🥰🥰
😂❤it nice to see her taking care of dogs that need shelter no matter the breed ty
Thank you dear young lady. You have a beautiful heart ♥️. Of course your kindness shows through your daughter as well. I’m so happy that you took in VARDAN too. May your blessings be multiplied. 🙏🏽🕊️
I absolutely love watching her and her family and the work she does ❤
You have the patience of a saint and the heart of an angel 💙.
Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do as it's truly a special job.
Also you're daughter is a precious little girl who the dogs can sense is full of nothing but love.
Thanks for sharing 👍🐺🐕.
Wolves are such beautiful animals they are my favorite although I love all animals. Thank you for having this marvelous place where they can be safe.❤
It's always a good sign when a child is preferred over an adult when it comes to animals. Great story and I commend you for taking in these beautiful creature's and giving them a good like.
I just hope you're never in the middle of a scrap between them, each wanting to be the leader of the pack, demanding respect from the others. Enjoy them and Happy 4th of July 2024! 🇺🇸😁🧓
Thank you for caring for these beautiful animals!
I ✨✨❤️✨✨ watching these videos they make me more emotional not having my fur baby in the physical with me no more but I still enjoy makes me happy. 🥹🐕🐕❤️🙇🏾♀️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Amen
Thanks for featuring Arctic Fox Daily, The Dodo!
I greatly admire Kimberly DeFisher. DeFisher strictly relies on donations and patrons to run her rehabilitation and rescue nonprofit, Arctic Fox Daily, that operates on her personal property. Kimberly is an incredible person.
Its a shame that.there are not more compassionate angels t like this lady. What a great job she is doing with these neglected wolves.its a same that so many ,so called humans, can be so cruel and uncaring to these beatiful animal, including dogs .
These animal have as much right ,as do humans,to live a good life instead of been neglected and cruely treated. The young woman in this article has a heart of gold.❤❤❤
@@johnstrange9453 agreed, the world needs more people like her who treat wolf dogs, dogs, cats and other pets with love and care and also less abusers (should make it legal to unalive abusers, they are wasting earth's resources anyway with their good for nothing life)
This is amazing, so beautiful in all aspect of this loving story! Just Beautiful!!! 😍😍😍
Amazing story! Fascinating that they have such a good memory and could recognize each other after over a year of being apart.
God Bless You for giving all of these wonderful wolf dogs such a wonderful and loving forever home!
People like you shouldn't have dogs. Thinking it's ok that it bit someone.
I’m so glad to know there’s people out there like these beautiful people helping these incredible intelligent creatures.
This woman is an amazing person! I absolutely love it when a video pops up!! She does such a wonderful job of working with these pups 🥰❤️
I Absolutely Love Wolf's..
May God's Blessing's Always Surround You, Your Loved Ones & the Wolf's 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Doing this for wolf dogs is so unique 😊 💯 🙏
Wolves are family oriented, the pack is the most important thing to them. One of the reasons I love wolves so much
Till they rip you
@@MrOrcshaman do you love the mafia to?
@@Thee-_-Outlier you comparing wolves to the mafia?
@@MrOrcshaman no, I pointed out you made an over generalized statement, which is a nice way of saying you said something incredibly stupid. Strike two.
@@Thee-_-Outlier so family isn't important to you? That was my original statement, but honestly I just feel sorry for you now
This lady is a very special person. Thank you for taking care of them 🙏 ❤
It's people ike the woman in the video that make the world a better place. Those wolf dogs are beautiful. Amazing animals.
I love it, I raised three American Timberwolf / Huskey that got run over in Florida, they were great. Moved to Arkansas with pit bull / Doberman and got two female Alaskan Timberwolf / malamute mix to play with pit bull.
Omg, im so happy they found both of them❤
The way a human treats an animal tells me everything I need to know about that human. That is why I only interact with my close family and my cat. I love all animals but my big orange ginger male cat shows me love that I know is unconditional.
What a sweet group of wolf dogs... ❤
Such a cool great story. I much prefer these kinds of stories than all the violence-hate stories here on YT. Thank you for sharing this today. Shalom
This is so awesome!!! Brought tears to my eyes seeing how he reacted to his brother. You're a good human!
Thank you for everything you do for these wolves at your sanctuary ❤️ You are an angel!!! God Bless You!!!
Kim of Artic Fox Daily is pure awesome. It's hard work that should be prohibited for anyone without the proper training she has to recognize their body language, let alone doing so with your kids. Given how horrendously wolves and hybrids have been treated in the US - almost to the point of extinction, refuges like these salve my soul.
Such a beautiful thing you are doing…❤❤❤❤❤❤. So happy the brothers were able to be reunited! God bless all that you do, your family and the wolf dogs that you save!!!
Thank you for the video🙏
Thank you and all blessings upon your work!!! And the wolf dogs!!
Thank you for your patience and heart.
HOW CAN I TOO WORK WITH THESE AMAZING, MAGNIFICENT, BEAUTIFUL BEASTS??? I WANT TO DO THIS FOR A LIVING!!!
So it warms my heart when well meaning people who TRULY care about the animals well being regardless of their own desires (like wanting to keep them despite the animals misery) and rescue them and try to get them the help and care they need and if possible return them to the wild but if not find them a suitable place where they can live comfortably and happy.
beautiful chaos, absolutely the best phrase I've ever heard💝
Thanks for rescuing them!
That is so wonderful that these brothers were reunited! Wolves and wolf dogs are such beautiful animals. Thank you for sharing this! ❤️🥰
Thank you!
You are an angel...thank you for not ignoring your born gift ...what a beautiful and vital impact on this universe and adding to what connects all living things we are one with this universe and it's center source and intention unconditional pure precious goodness pure light is love...the greatest gift of our Creator has given us ....pure love.
Id marry that woman for having such a beautifully kind soul...and being pretty darn cute
But would she marry you? Lol 😂
@@kamivenus753 you must be great at parties
@ryanrj7500 yup I am because I'm not standing around saying imma marry people who would never marry me hahaha
They are all so lucky to have someone like you and your family to give them love affection and a safe home! It’s inspiring to know that people like you still exist…you are all proof that ANGELS WALK THE EARTH
(READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE MAKING YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS) Isn't breeding wolf dogs illegal? Thanks so much for letting these unwanted/abused animals live out their best lives.
*EDIT:* Because people are stupid. I NEVER accused this fine lady of breeding wolf-dogs. I simply asked if it wasn't illegal and then thanked her for taking care of these unwanted animals.
It varies from state to state
@@alrivers2297I am almost sure she doesn’t breed she would know better
always one guy in the comments that doesn't have all the facts but throws out comments anyways as if they are facts
@@wattwatkins3574 he was asking a question about breeding being illegal.
Not saying this lady was.
It’s you who didn’t read the comment throughly in your haste to get a mean petty comment in🙄
Do better
No not illegal some states allow it
Beautiful animals. You have a beautiful soul for taking care of them. If I could rescue anything it would be wolfs/dogs.
This is so wonderful thank you for saving them
BEAUTIFUL animals! Thank God for your kind heart & dedication to these wonderful souls! God bl as ALL OF YOU!!!!! 🥰🙏💕💜💙🧡💚❤️😊🤗
That's a beautiful thing, bless your heart......🙏🏾♥️😊🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾🫡
Un grand bravo jeune Dame, vous faites un travail magnifique avec tous ces beaux chiens-loups que vous sauvez. Mes meilleures salutations de Genève, Suisse 🥰🕊🕊🕊
28 years!! Wow. Thats awesome 🙏🏼💚
Arent they supposed to live in a pack outside? I dont want to sound like I am attacking or anything but I dont think these animals should live in a house as a pet
@@novajay5349probably not but they made that decision and their large family tried to do what they can to give them a happy life. Every year us humans realize how naive we were just a year ago. We learn so much and in this case the behavioral research just wasn’t as in depth, nor easily accessible to the general public. So humans hear cool words like wolf hybrids and they are quick to adopt them.
And in this case we don’t know if the original comment got him from a breeder or rescued Lanuk
God bless this woman , her family ❤and all the animals. Happy for this pack 🐺
This was wonderful to see how this lady and her family took in these amazing animals and gave them all love patient’s kindness ❤ l believe the Good Lord is watching over you Bless you and your family 😊l give you my support keep up this good work Have a great Fourth of July ❤!!🎇🎆🎗️💥🇺🇸
What an amazing thing you do. Thank you for caring for those babies
I love wolf dogs. Had 2 of them they were sisters. They were incredible. Let them loose no cages on 200 acres. They were home every night to greet me.
I love this channel, it always makes me feel happy.
They just love you!
😭 So sweet. You and your family are so special and loving towards your wolf dogs. I have two long coat Chihuahua’s that changed my life. I don’t deserve them. Thank you for your work 😊
