As a Peruvian food writer who has written about Peruvian cuisine, given classes on Peruvian food, developed Peruvian recipes, and even had my own Peruvian food business, there are so many things wrong with this video I don't even know where to start. I'm not even going to point anything out because the mistakes are so glaring that this was all on you. As content creators, you need to do your research, especially when you want to speak for cultures that aren't your own. What you did was the equivalent of me doing a video on authentic Mexican tacos, getting taco bell and smothering it with ketchup.
Peruvian ceviche has wayyyy more flavors. Also you can make leche de tigre using a blender bro with the right ingredients, taste even better. We find it weird to add tomate to a ceviche too. You both are Mexicans and we know how Mexicans are about everything, they think Mexico is the best in everything, even soccer. They think Mexico should be world champion in everything. But let's be real, ask anybody in the world other than a Mexican and they will tell you Peruvian ceviche is the best of course.
There’s no beef bro! Peruvian Ceviche is the original … you can say Mexican ceviche is trying to copy the original or they want their own version of a Peruvian dish. But at the end of the day is Peruvian vs Peruvian (Mexican version) ceviche.
Peruvian Ceviche is a gourmet!!! Not a simple pico with gallo with shrimp. The Peruvian ceviche is served with yuca or cavassa, cooked big corn from cusco, corn nuts and sweet potatoe. The way the peruvian ceviche was served here isnt right. It doesnt provide the real flavor of the Peruvian Ceviche.

Something that you missed in this versus. 1. You need a Peruvian cook. 2. Fish must be fresh. 3. Peruvian Lemon is not the Mexican lemon the acid is total different. 4. No tostadas please instead Peruvian corn, sweet potato, purple onion, and Peruvian corn-nuts. 5. Marinated only a few seconds.
I'm from England and I have never tried the Mexican ceviche, but I have tried the Peruvian ceviche and it's sooo good. I'm in love with Peruvian food.
