am Puertorican and my husband is peruvian .. i was raised in NY.. and 2 years ago i moved to Perú and i love it here.. the Food is amazing and the people too.. sadly the same situation about the migrants in south America its tearing apart this country and the pnes around.. the majority from venezuela.. it's a shame. buy yes the food it's amazing and the people from here are humble and work very hard..

the cancha in the ceviche is not nuts, it's toasted corn. Peru has many varieties of corn and the corn used to make it is not sweet, in this case it's Chulpe corn.

Peruvian food has a large catalog, those dishes are the famous ones, there’s tons of dishes but they require ingredients only in Peru to met the flavor standards by default so you gotta go to Peru ASAP to try them all.
