Choosing the Right Oil: Different types of 2-stroke oil and which is best for your equipment.
Measuring and Mixing: Tips on accurately measuring oil and fuel, and how to mix them properly.
Common Ratios Explained: Explanation of common fuel-to-oil ratios like 50:1, 40:1, and 32:1.
Mixing Procedure: A step-by-step demonstration of the mixing process.
    📋 Materials Needed:
2-Stroke Engine Oil: Specific to your engine's requirements.
Unleaded Gasoline: Fresh and clean, with the correct octane rating.
Mixing Container: Clean and suitable for fuel mixing.

    🚨 Safety Tips:
Always mix fuel in a well-ventilated area.
Wear gloves and safety glasses to protect yourself from spills and fumes.
Store mixed fuel in an approved, labeled container and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Dispose of any old or contaminated fuel properly according to local regulations.
    📌 Important Notes:
Always refer to your engine’s manual for the recommended fuel-to-oil ratio.
Shake the container well before each use to ensure the mixture is even.

40:1 Yamalube synthetic has always treated me right for stock compression motors. Unfortunately here in Arizona we only have 91 pump available so anything with even slightly higher than stock compression I shoot up to a small airport a couple miles from me and mix 100LL Avgas and half pump to bump octane to about 96 and it's affordable. Av right now is about $6 a gal.

I have mixed Avgas with high test here before.. best fuel we can get at a pump here in Ontario Canada is 94. And Avgas is running around $3.00/L (about 5L/G) so it’s definitely more affordable then running race fuel at $10/L Yammalube is really good oil.. I think the important part is running the best fuel oil mix you can afford.
Thanks for the comment and for watching as always

How many ounces or Canada units for 5 gallon of fuel?

    • @Dirtbikerepair
      @Dirtbikerepair  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

That would depend on what you are mixing at for example 5 gallon but for easy math I’m going to use 20L mixed at 40:1 = 20L of fuel 500ml of oil
      32:1 = 16L of fuel 500ml of oil
That’s really what you can mix in a 5g fuel can

So, where's the ride video? This build is not complete and anticlimactic until we see the bike ripping!

Still waiting on a few parts to finally come in for Project 93, then we will do a start up video so we can all see it run for the first time together. We will definitely be putting out a video of all the things we went through in this build along with a bunch of footage of the bike hopefully ripping up the trails and track.
