Been there a million times mate. Lesson to be learned, as soon as your rod is set up, your net needs to be set up and ready. We’re too eager to get fishing we forget the most important basics 😂😩
Yeah it’s a tough one! I’m always on the move and have my net folded away connected to a magnet on my back so I can pull it off when I need it. Balancing act between mobility and that occasionally happening 😂
hello @AdventureFishingUk. Just want to say i love the video's and just wondered do you buy day ticket's or are you with a club.?? I'm thinking on fishing my local rivers and finding out how to go about things. TIA and happy fishing...
Schoolboy error🤣🤣 love it, you need to get some glue on that handle grip as well mate...................... rafl at the wildlife scaring advice and actions, never a dull moment with you George. Well done on the trout unlucky on the hattrick😁😁
I actually got pushed into the river Avon once and to rub salt in the wounds the bull trampled over my bike and bent the wheels and snapped my brakes off. Cows are evil man 😂
@@mikeoutdoors22 no problem! If you want to be serious about making fishing videos a decent GoPro is the most important thing. Doesn’t have to be the best or the newest but if I was you I’d go for the 8 black or above. I’ll have a look at some of your videos later 👍
@@adventurefishinguk I agree with you 100% mate. Ill pick one up in the next week as my own videos are not upto par camera wise anyway. Yea please do mate any tips be very helpful 👍🏻
I'm not 100% sure what you mean mate! It's quite likely I'm the one using it wrong 😂 my rods get thrown around a lot and something might've been moved. Especially with a telescopic the sections can quite easily turn a bit during use
@@hazzardoutdoors just realised this wasn’t the fish rig 180 I was using, it was an early prototype of it I was testing for rigged and ready. Sorry my mistake!
George get some glue on that handle or you will have more lost fish mate, changed all my treble hooks on all my lures to inline single hooks barbless there excellent far better hook hold and less damage to the fish,i have caught lots of fish with treble hooks stuck in there mouths makes me sick these so called Anglers.I caught a 16LB canal pike that had 3 treble hooks stuck in it's mouth and a float and line wrapped around it's body no excuses just bad Anglers,Glad i caught this pike to free from all the hooks and float and line it was good to see her free again, honestly inline single hooks best thing i ever did recommend it,Dellboy
Sounds like you saved that pike good job you caught it! Yeah I’ve toyed with the idea of single hooks it’s just difficult to know what to buy with so much choice on the market and not really understanding hook sizes. Split rings are just about the most fiddly things too and with the amount of lures I lose to snags I usually just stick with how they come. After talking to some other anglers about it too a lot of people believe a single hook is more likely to go right through the fishes mouth and cause more damage through the pressure distribution. They could well be wrong but I tend to keep my fishing simple and leave the trivial matters to those more clued up than me. Straight out the packet onto the line is my approach! I do intend on changing that though
@@adventurefishinguk i agree George the sizing is ridiculous there is basically no sizing what i did was took my lures to the shop and measured the inline hook against my treble hook it's the best thing you can do but they need to start a proper sizing chart.Dellboy

Thanks for the comment mate! I've replied to your question on my recent video that you commented on 👍

And out come the mighty CROCS !!!
Nuff said !!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Some nice fish buddy and yet another cracking video 🎣🎣👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks mate! Yeah the crocs are becoming a very reliable part of my wardrobe. Glad you enjoyed the video
Appreciated the bonus cow information 🤣
As far as cow information is concerned it’s probably not the most reliable 😂 glad it was appreciated though!
Bow down to the Salmo Minnow 🙇♂️🙇♂️
Can be deadly on the right day 🎣

Great video mate. Only new to youtube myself over the last few months. Can I ask what camera you are using as my own is crap.
Thanks mate! My chest cam is a GoPro hero 8 black and for the close ups and stuff I just use my iPhone 👍
@@adventurefishinguk thanks for the reply. Need to upgrade my setup. Thanks again mate

Best lure ever made and helped me make my best video so far Imo
Yeah they are really good, can’t decide if I prefer it to the rapala countdown 🤔
@@adventurefishinguk rapalas are nice but they got Rapala tax on them and I’m a Slag for a Salmo
Those cows are definitely cow-herds for running away!
Haha I like it, did you have to Google that?

Am I using my rigged 180 rod wrong, my hook up point is on the bottom of my rod on the eyelet and reel side.

@@adventurefishinguk so the little eyelet near the reel end with a hinge so you can put your hook on to walk....
