Thank you very much for watching! The BRAND NEW Adventure Fishing online store is now live, I’d massively appreciate it if you could check it out! www.adventurefishinguk.com/
It's so heartbreaking to see how so many water companies get away with it. Makes me feel a bit better seeing you out and about showing that if given the chance nature can repair what we destroy. Tight lines George and keep your chin up and look after your lovely family 🙏
So many rivers and streams are just destroyed by waist. We had a flood back in 1985 which caused the Roanoke River Flood Project. While we were surveying we found multiple sewage leaks and man whole backups. Sewage was coming out of the top. So not only did the river get wider in some areas, the sewer lines had to be updated. Your area is so beautiful and your adventures you share are amazing. Tight lines, from the US to the UK.
Thanks for watching as always mate happy to hear when people enjoy my videos from over in the US. It’s a shame that you have some similar issues though
United Utilities are a disgrace. Why the hell are we all still paying our bills? Water privatisation has destroyed our rivers, lakes and seas. We need a national campaign to fight the polluters. Feargal Sharkey doing a great job highlighting the current situation but it needs all of us to really make a change.
I've never seen anything like that and I pay my water bill for that, they'll be getting a phone call off me, loving ya vids man, from a Lancastrian now living in Heysham 👌💯.
I’m just about to go down to my local and see what is swimming today! Thanks George you’re the exact reason I started fishing and I’ve been loving it ever since
Shame that happened. A beautiful looking fishery and happy to see that it is recovering. Nice fish and the two stocked fish looked like females and the perfect size for spawning. Hope it continues to recover
George, your videos keep getting better and better. Love the drone footage! You’ve inspired this old shore angler to get a rigged and ready rod and start fishing my local river in Belfast!
Beautiful fish you had there George. I can't understand how the water companies can keep getting away with dumping sewage into the waterways. Seems to be far to common an occurence now.
Nasty stuff. It's that time of year again where the canals get polluted. Remembering your bridge 64 vid from a few years ago - did anybody ever get prosecuted? Spotted some absolutely massive chub in the wyre at church town yesterday- just above the footbridge. Do you ever fish that far down?
Hi George. You should speak to R&R about having more options for their braid. Not everyone needs 200m. I can normally get away with loading up with 100m for most of the fishing i do. I could buy 200m but If i come to an end of a 100m spool I know its 100m loaded on to the reel and not 80m or 120m out of 200m if you get what im saying. 😅😅 Just a small suggestion to help you guys compete with the bigger brands out there.
Quality Video as always George, your videos are starting to tempt me into giving lure fishing a go. 🙏🏻 If you were still looking for video ideas you could potentially have a “throwback” video and fish the waters which you learnt to fish on maybe use similar lures you used to use!
Nice one George i used to kayak that section loads in high flows and the stink sometimes was minging and yet such an absolutely beautiful river. I found ond of my favourite reels tucked under an overhang in the river bank whilst kayaking and i was one hooked during Zambezi sized flows in my cheek under my eye by a rusty spinner and trebble that was hung up under Prizzet bridge that you show at the start of the film . It must have been there for years but the water was that high it caught me. I had to paddle about 500m before i could find an eddie to stop n remove it lol. Good days 😂. Nice film mate n some gorgeous trout. Ive seen Seals below Force falls before too. A long way up river . Atb mate , that rod looks mint and good luck with the lures etc. Ill definitely be giving them a go 👍. Atb Rick n Billydog
Nice one George, stunning venue, best of luck with you're webshop, you have come along way since that pike snapped you off on the Kendal section of the Lancy canal, every credit mate 👍🏻 👏 keep them coming 👍🏻
Take some plastic carrier bags, then for every fish you catch (regardless of size) you have to add another rock to your backpack. End shot of the video on the big camera; George triumphantly releases a bag full of rocks back into the river to live another day! Lol, great content as always, keep it up mate
Great video as ever, George. It looked to me like a couple of the fish you lost were due to the rod. Seemed to be wobbling around quite a bit atfer hook up.
What a stunning place that is now it’s recovered from the sewage. Few nice fish too and well done on the exercise challenge 😊 5 push ups for every fish you catch lol 😊
ok Im now all licenced and Permits in place....Ill be out piking soon on lancaster canal as ive joined PAC and got my gear ready....cant wait ...hopefully Ill bump into you soon....Ive not fished for pike for some 40 years so Im a bit rusty...
For rivers and lochs, start with 100 push ups, then subtract 10 for every native fish caught, 15 for each tourist. +20 for a blank For canals, -10 for a pike, -5 for a perch, but +20 for a chubb. +30 for a blank.
Doing a trip to the UK soon from Canada. Got a lot of my old grandads flies that he used in england would love to try to use a few. Just wondering what its like to fish across the pond
If you end up in Derbyshire, Arnfield Fly Fishery in Tintwistle is a great place to visit. Some beautiful Rainbows in there, some over 5/6lbs, although I’m sure I’ve seen bigger. There’s also big browns, lots of Perch, a cafe with a decking over the water, row boats for hire and flies available to buy. Service is a tad slow, but the foods decent and the lake is stunning. Not expensive either, unlike other places in Derbyshire like Bakewell, which is absolutely amazing fishing but £80 for a day ticket..
Beautiful area to fish! Sad that we can so easily destroy it. Wonderful to see the revival of this area! A curious question George, do u ever eat any of the fish u catch?

A few years ago I went sea fishing on the coast at Blackpool. First cast I got a bite. As I was reeling in the line was covered in toilet paper. I went home.

Here’s a fitness challenge for you how’s about a bike ride along the length of the Leeds / Liverpool canal stopping off to do some pike and perch lure fishing along the way

Sea trout are just brown trout that have went to sea, making the fish that George caught a sea trout not a smolt 👍
