Honesty is 100% appreciated. I just got done watching a review of a shoe by a shoe review site who I won’t name but they are big in the USA. They just seem to be afraid of saying anything negative about the shoe. The shoe is not a good shoe however, this review site goes out of their way to find as much positives to say and minimize any negatives. Again thank you for your honesty. Keep it up!
I think you should spotlight foams and comparison with other foams in your reviews, Alex. You're the best person to do this with your durometer scores and your love for adjectives. For example, Floatride from Reebok is like a lighter version of Boost but they lose their resilience and bounce in around 70 minutes (for me); and Fresh Foam X in the 1080 v10 is a bouncier version of React, both are super resilient thus are foams of my choice for longer runs. I would certainly like that on your channel.
Thanks for the very honest review. I had mine exchanged to a half size down my normal running size. Right now, I am just using it for leisure. Good aesthetics, but bad for running. :))
Innovation is great and has led to amazing shoes but I don’t see where adidas is going with this. It’s their 2nd or 3rd iteration of the 4D shoe and they keep trying to sell it as a running shoe which it clearly isn’t. The innovation of the Prime X is wild but at least it gives a fun and interesting ride even if it’s non race legal and mildly terrifying to run bends in. For these? Maybe just go all out on making them a recycled, eco friendly fashion shoe.
Hi Alex, need ur help, i can't decide between glycering 19 and asics nimbus lite 2, i m a heavy runner (92kgs) running at an avg 10 mins/mile pace and am looking for a soft ride, can u let me know which amng these 2 specific shoes is the softer one?
Bonjour Alex.
Thank you Alex, I expected that, but chapeau 🎩, you tested them on more than one run. For myself i was done with them after 10m in the shop 🙄. Did you hear about the Salomon Pulsar SG? And a wonderful Halloween weekend of course.
I just don't get Adidas... They have great shoes with great technology like the lightstrike pro sole. These are top-of-the-line dedicated running shoes. Instead of developing that innovations/production line they tend to make these lifestyle shoes that look like they are designed as a gimmick for collectors. Same with the ultraboost line.
Some technologies come and go.. Can be many reasons why it is not possible to get a good running shoe with this technology. A few years ago I discovered in Finland a company called "the left shoe". They scan your feet in 3D at their shops and make dress shoes for you. As your feet are not similar you really get different fit for the right / left shoe. EXCELLENT Goodyear Welt shoes. Usually took about 2 months to get the shoes. To my surprise they went bankrupt... 🤯. So sometimes even great idea does not make it.
I think Adidas is just practicing this technology... I guess we'll go to adidas store in 2030, scan your foot, get some results and print you a shoe. And get your foot profile and order an quick or a cushion or a trainer shoe with your profile.
Yeah... Right now this tech seems a bit gimmicky. Don' t see the traditional block of foam going away anytime in the future, especially with the recent advancements of Nitro, Peba etc.
adidas have been playing with this material for some years now, and it doesn't show a good sign so far. They probably should move on and stop using it for running shoes. For fashion sneakers maybe.
What a train wreck of a shoe. I think the innovation is next level I just don’t think it applicable for running shoes. It’s a start but 3-D printing really doesn’t work in running shoes with a heavy reliance on foams that move and twist with the runner.
Terrible use and advancement of technology. TOTAL WASTE OF INVESTED CAPITAL, RESOURCE, MARKETING. Vision, purpose and execution should be for best, lightest and grippiest high rebound runnings shoes. ZoomX, PowerrunPB, FF Turbo, Nitro Elite, Lightstrike Pro is where it's at......either make cheaper shoes of these technologies OR improve the lightness/bounce than these incumbent technologies. Great review, poor shoe.

You're welcome, I'm happy to enjoyed the review and we share the same conclusions :-)
Outsole looks nice.
Yes and it’s one of the parts where this shoe shines!

Good job 👍🏻💪🏻

Do not buy the shoe; It’s a bad quality shoe. Midsole lattice got torn within just first 4 months of usages and Adidas didn’t return or refund
