Gravel, dirt, sand, soil. Not a problem. First model kept it in a bit but did not disturb, the same can be said for this model. I do like it a lot both for running however, 2019/2020 ultra boost does feel better for just full on running. However you can’t go wrong with this one either. @@williamavecilla4203 because this will conform to your foot when reacting to the ground, I don't recommend it. The Shoe a more narrow fitting shoe as it is for performance when it comes to front to back motions. If you wanted a shoe for comfort and performance in all planes, I would recommend ultra boost instead. If not fitted correctly, the narrow fitting can scrunch your toes together, and may even make your foot more flat or cause blumpkins. This is still one of my favorite shoes and will advocate for its looks and performance, so if you really want one, I would recommend a sole to support your foot arch and for you to go .5 to 1 size up higher.

Thanks Uraz! always great to see comments like this 🤙 It's a tricky choice, I'd say it's 100% worth a try...they are mega comfortable for walking and running. If you go with them...let us know how you get on 👍
I am a huge fan of Ultraboost. How does the 4D midsole compare in terms of plushness and “squishiness”? Is this the new apex of Adidas cushioning technology, or is this more focused on forward propulsion than cushioning?
I'd say the hard court would probably be a bit much for the upper more than anything...I'd stick with a proper tennis shoe for tennis 👍Hope that helps a little
Looking at the sole,it looks like there are gaps in the mesh, will dirt and grit not get into that and basically ruin them?,can't really see it close up 🤨
It's a good point and i'd love to hear if anyone has tried them in wet muddy or trail conditions. I've not had anything caught in mine...but i've only run on the road.
I just got mine it size 42, and I feel it is wide a bit not that much where I can run and walk perfectly but I still can feel it, do you recommend me to go with 40 2/3?
Silly question but have you done the laces up a little tighter? and how do your toes fit? if you feel you could drop some toe length and go down a size it might be a good idea... but remember your feet might swell a little when you get running for a while! Hope that helps
Both have their pros and cons. Ultraboost 21 are more of a competitive running shoe. The heel still has a bit of shock absorption and a nice roll to it. 4DFWD are a bit more of a conditioning shoe. Flatter sole and the super compressive design in the sole demands you to push slightly harder (think about running barefoot on sand as apposed to a hard surface) Over a distance, with the 4Ds, your muscles feel more worked compared to the ultraboosts but transfer alot of the shock from up your leg to right behind your heel. I run to work with a 10-15lb backpack everyday and definitely felt the difference when I switched to the 4Ds. Instead of my bones being sore my muscles are sore. Still love my Ultraboosts though.
Is this good for work? I work in a hospital for 17hrs a days a lot of walking and standing up for long periods of time. Is this comfortable for everyday work use? Or do you have any other shoe recommendations?
I wouldn't think it would damage the material at all... but if you're into lifting i'd recommend a shoe with a smaller heel toe drop (a flatter sole) as this gives you a more stable platform and can help reduce injury! hope that helps!
Pretty ideal gym shoes...although if you'd be using them for lots of weight lifting i'd go for something with a flatter/ small heel drop. Hope that helps
Hi, The shoes fit is about half a size bigger than a usual adi fit. It might be worth going down half a size. Have a watch at 6:32 for some info on the fit and sizing 👍
While the 3D printed bottom is extremely interesting the rest of the shoe looks pretty flimsy. I wonder if they would wear out within a month for anyone doing some serious mileage? Will maybe wait a couple of months and see what runners are saying.
The upper is pretty much the same as most high end running shoes these days. super lightweight and breathable. If i'm honest I still think it will be the soles that wear out first. Good shout waiting for more opinions/tests tho👍

Stones and mud = useless!
Have you tried them? I've not given them a go in proper sloppy wet mud...but I'd never run in shoes like this in those conditions anyway.
Mud collector
hahah wish adi called them this
Dont stand in dog shit
Isn't that cheating?
Maybe but it uses the energy you exert on the ground rather than an external energy so maybe not
😆 not for now its not 😆
@@Tavernum so does a Kangaroo and it can spring 25 feet! You get my drift?
@@wiggle so what next: some form of exoskeleton to propell us faster down or around a track? They banned the "shark suit" in swimming events because it gave an unfair advantage to those that could afford them. How much are they, again?
@@andygee8716 haha the list of banned items in cycling is even bigger! These or their future models could 100% get banned/restricted if they end up making a big enough difference. time will tell 👍
Pricey rubbish I bet
How much you betting?
Awful shoes
You tried them Steven... or just not like the look of them?
@@wiggle oh yeah just the look of them. Obviously just my opinion and each to their own, but those soles are way too big, I think they look ridiculous 😂 I think it's most the way they stick out at the back
Having said that, I can imagine them being very comfortable for running in
@@StevenTwoTwo 100% shoes are are like anything...people love hate every model 😆
This must be the most stupid Tech ever, good luck clean that !!!
What a load of nonsense 😂
😆 whatever they are...they feel great on my feet
adidas should've used continental sole.
