Thank you Brother John may God Bless you and Bonnie as we watch from here as you teach us the facts and help us understand them form Jesus's point of view. Amen
Hello. I am wondering if anyone questions whether Jesus is God? Are there any scriptures of Jesus saying any variation of the words "I am God"? Anything definite like that? Wasn't all the debating during Jesus's ministry here all about whether he was the Messiah or not? What did him being God have to do with anything?
@@davidhowell7901 I appreciate your reply. Let's say, for the sake of this question, that Jesus is not God. Is it then possible that Jesus may have had a different meaning behind what he said here? I have been reading the book of John quite a bit. It says all throughout that Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, and the Son of God, and that was the usual subject of the debates. No mention of Jesus being God. I want to urge you to go back and read the scriptures in the scope that Jesus is the Messiah, a prophet of God... he speaks as God (Exodus 7:1, Duet 18:18) and God puts his words in Jesus's mouth. (This might be why He is the Word of God?) Where does any of this indicate that Jesus is God? This can make an assumed text like John 10:33 sound like he's being called God, but He is in fact being told by the pharisees that they believe he is just a mere man, and not the Messiah. Therefore he is not "God." and they won't respect him as such.
God bless you and Bonnie! ❤️🙏🏻

"If you have seen me you have seen the Father" and many other passages in the New Testiment.
Read the gospel of John. Jesus Christ is the Word.
