    My mother has small brown pigmentation on her face, and when she used it for a week, the brown spots became darker and more visible, and now she has stopped using it. What is the reason, please, and is there a solution? Answer me please.

      If you use this effaclar you need to wear sunscreen in the morning if not then the pigmentation will go darker

      Yes but no, if you have sensitive skin then yeah if the acne is still red without a visible head yet, I would recommend for a head to become visible then start applying it, a lot of people apply it too early and cause the stinging. But if it persist then I would stop using it.

      It depends on your severity, if you have breakouts and blackheads/whiteheads then i would say use it in the morning and before bed. And YESS always use sunscreen no matter what you're using. Also if you use effaclar duo make sure you moisturize after, it can be very drying.

    hello, I just started using it lately and this video is such a helpful instruction, tysm! If you don't mind to answer, I have some questions.
    - I'm using it day and night and the purging is happening (before the acne became irritating I was using a vit C product that contain niacinamide in it). Is it normal and effective to keep this routine? Some people only use once or twice a week to begin with so idk...
    - Is sunscreen mandatory? Using sunscreen means I have to do double cleansing. I stopped after the acne became bad and didn't want it to clog the pores. But some active ingredients requires UV protection so idk, should I use it again?
    - here my routine: foam cleanser - soothing/moisturizing toner - soothing/moisturizing serum - La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ M. Any change I should add?
    I will really appreciate it if you answer! Thank youu

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How long have you been using it and experiencing purging?
      Try a sunscreen with zinc oxide as it is anti inflammatory and healing - great for acne. If you get acne you are prone to post inflammatory marks so yes sunscreen will help.
      Fun fact: you should be double cleansing in the evening regardless if you wore sunscreen or not :) we get oil, dirt and sweat from the day the first cleanse removes this, and the 2nd cleanse cleanses the skin properly xx

    • @khanhthu1316
      @khanhthu1316 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SkinZoneTV I've been using it only about a week! And double cleansing make my skin worse, I emulsified carefully and used a water-based cleanser after but more acne appeared. I saw some who have the same problem stop using it so I did the same, I guess it's the oil cleanser products that don't suit me (I use Manyo oil cleanser). Anyway, thank you so much for your reply! Really appreciate it, I will find a proper sunscreen

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah so oil cleansers should only be used as a 1st cleanse, and definitely followed up with a different 2nd cleanser to break down the oil.
      Since you've only just started using the effaclar treatment, try cutting back how often you are using it. Only use it at night time, try every second night instead of daily.
      You can then go back to using your niacinamide/vitamin c serum in the mornings.
      and what you are experiencing is purging which can last 4-6 weeks. @@khanhthu1316

      Girly I don't know about how bad or serious your skin condition is, or what may be causing it, but my dermatologist once told me, the least amount of products you use on your skin the better, of course when I started the treatment he prescribed me some medication, but now I only use the effaclar and my sunscreen, that's all, I used to have bad-moderate acne, I'll start using the European version cuz that's what they are selling now at the store so I'll see if I see something feels different and tell you girly, sending love and hoping your skin heals ❤
